We had a great stay in the lake cottage! It is perfect for kids to look for tree frogs and salamanders in the woods, find pretty rocks snorkeling, warm up by the fire after and play games after dinner. I was worried about 1 bathroom for 8 people, but it never became an issue. Scapes cafe is only 5 minutes away and they have a lot of breakfast/lunch options (cheddar biscuits are a must have!) Be careful on the deck, it can be a little slippery when wet, bring a sharp knife if you plan on a lot of cooking and you’ll have the best time!

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

We had a lovely stay. The house is across the street from the lake and surrounded by woods. Beautiful tall white birches outside of the back door. We heard a barred owl and a loon on the lake. Plenty of space and comfortable beds. This was a perfect place to stay for our nephews wedding. We hiked the round top trail in Belgrade, which we recommend. We had breakfast at Java Joe’s in Farmington, very good

My husband and I rented this place for our wedding venue. Kim was great at communicating what was needed for us to use her place as a venue. The location was absolutely stunning! The home was clean and easy to check in. A few things that need to be more clear is the sleeping arrangements. There are only 3 bedrooms. The rest of the sleeping areas are pull out beds in common areas. It can sleep many people but they all have to sleep in the downstairs together. For this reason, it was a little pricey. We don’t regret renting this place for our venue and are grateful for Kim letting us check in early. Kim was a great host!

We had blast staying in Stacy’s lake house ! The location is perfect ! Quiet, very peaceful, private place and Beautiful views !! We came with our atv’s and we could go on the trails right from home so that was amazing for us ! Best place in this area for sure ! The house was very clean and cozy! Definitely we’ll come back to this place!

Thomas place is a great location for saddleback. only 15 minutes away, and restaurant that are walkable. The place itself is clean, well stock kitchen, and cozy.

This was our first stay in an Airbnb and it exceeded our expectations! The apartment was exactly as described and included everything necessary to make it the perfect “home away from home”! It is in a great location with restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store and Wilson Lake all within walking distance. Debi was a great host. She kept in contact with us before and during our stay, and quickly responded to all questions. We will definitely stay here again!

Cute place to stay when we needed to crash somewhat close to the ski mountain. The only hard part was finding the apartment door since the apartment is over a bar, but once we did everything was great!

Great Location. Perfect place to stay. Warm and cozy. A little too hot upstairs for sleeping with summer heat even with fans available. Almost perfectly clean on arrival. Would definitely stay here again without any hesitation - in fact we might just book again for next summer soon!!

Lovely, cozy, and warm despite the cold weekend! The communication was perfect. The roads were plowed early in the morning after the snow so getting in and out was no trouble. Would definitely stay again!

Kelly was an excellent host for our stay! Very responsive at all times (even with horrible weather!!) Right on trail for snowmobiling. Very clean, instructions easy to follow!

I had a great month exploring Maine with my dog from this garage apartment. The owners are friendly but not intrusive. Some days my dog and I just laid a blanket on the grass and sat in the beautiful backyard. Go to Pickles Potions and get the body oil, it helped me keep bugs away.

We had a wonderful stay! Lisa is very responsive and so nice. We quickly made friends with Bella, the resident dog, and she is the sweetest pup. We were surprised with a Thanksgiving snow storm and the town lost power but there is a whole house generator, so we didn’t skip a beat or notice the power outage, which was so nice! There is a coffee pot on site (not a Keurig) and Lisa provided coffee grounds, which was amazing because we brought coffee pods. The bathroom is directly off the bedroom but there is no door, so if you need more privacy, I’d plan to tack up a blanket. The view of the lake is gorgeous and the property is peaceful. A gas station with a Dunkin is just a just a minute or two down the road and very convenient. We would definitely return.

The cottage was so beautiful, clean and cozy. Tom and Rosemarie gave us tips on places to go to try to see moose and avoid the crowds near the touristic places. Kitchen was fully equipped and everything worked just as expected. I just wish we had come in a hotter day so we could use the kayak and paddles on the lake! Will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the cottage. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature and offering stunning sunset views of the pond along with kayaks to go out and enjoy! The cottage itself was cozy and clean and we felt at home! Darlene was welcoming and attentive ensuring everything was just right for our stay! I highly recommend this charming retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful stay! It was a bit chilly so we were able to enjoy the fire pit outdoors with the wood that was provided! I can’t wait to return and stay longer! We can clearly see why this cottage has so many positive reviews!!

Loons Rest was the perfect get away spot for our 40th anniversary. We were lucky to enjoy the swimming dock in mid September as the daytime temperatures were in the upper 70's to low 80's. The lake was pristine and was warm enough for swimming still. We enjoyed watching and hearing the loons as well as the eagles and kingfishers. We loved the outdoor fire pit when the evenings turned cool as well as the indoor fireplace which is a work of art! Also the was plenty of well seasoned firewood. Everything about this place is very well thought out. If they don't have it you don't need it! The kitchen was well equipped and we were happy to find that there was everything we needed to prepare pizzas to cook on our solo stove pizza oven that we had brought along! John is a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend Loons Rest to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing spot to vacation.

Wonderful,private, well equipped cottage on pretty pond. Owners quick to respond to our texts. Relaxing hot tub and fantastic sauna! Many restaurants and breweries within a 30 minute drive. Book it ..... you won't wanna leave!

I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the lake house and couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the little getaway. It is beautifully located on the lake and has this huge window in the living room from which you have an amazing view. The house has everything you need, even washing machine and dryer in the basement. I would 100% recommend this unique place! Christine has been super helpful throughout my stay.

Troy’s home is absolutely gorgeous! We were only there for a short stay but it was comfortable, had everything we needed, and had such a beautiful view of the lake. The game room is outstanding, but I wish we hadn’t been too busy to use the hot tub. Troy is one of the easiest hosts — very responsive, flexible and welcoming. We’ll definitely return if we’re in the area again!
