Abigail’s place is perfect. Cozy, serene, and beautiful. You feel immediately at home when you walk in, the view from the windows is incredible. We enjoyed sitting out on the covered porch, looking out at the water, and watching for wildlife. The rooms were pristine and the pillows were beyond comfy. The addition across the kitchen was the ultimate place to lounge and relax - kid friendly too with day beds. We had a great experience and I can’t recommend this place enough. Our host left a couple of personalized touches which made the trip feel that much more special. Thank you Abigail for a great experience!

We had a great weekend with friends! The fishing and swimming were good. The fire alarm was beeping but when I sent a text to Charles he responded very quickly and all was fine. Overall a great weekend in a nice private getaway!

This was our second time at the property, had a great time ice fishing with our kids! Vicki was very helpful and great to deal with!

This is by far the nicest place we’ve stayed through and Airbnb and other rentals. Check in would be nice if it was before 4pm but not a deal beaker. Can not ice fishing in front of the house due to shallow water, but lots of places to travel to by machine if that’s what you are there for. Only go there in the winter, but will definitely return . Worth every penny.

Dragonwood was an excellent property for a large group! The kitchen was well-stocked, rooms were outfitted with plenty of sheets/blankets/towels, and the location was beautiful. The host was very responsive and was even able to help us with a car that was stuck in the snow as we were checking out. Would highly recommend for large groups looking for a very unique place to stay in the woods of Mine!

We had the best time on Sebec lake. The house is beautifully done and was perfect for our family. We enjoyed boating and going into town. Angela and Bill did a phenomenal job updating the house and even though we lost power it didn't disrupt us since they have a generator! The house was so well stocked it made staying there easier and we could cook in the beautiful/open kitchen. The outdoor space was perfect. My only complaint is we couldn't stay longer!

We were in town for our son’s wedding on October 12, 2024. Perfect location near the venue but private. It happened to be horrific winds that day and we lost our power along with thousands of Mainers. Bill and Amy was communicating with us and letting us know they would turn on the generator and get us water. Luckily by the time the reception was over power had been restored. We look forward to coming back next year. Oh and PS my husband said that the shower alone was worth a 5 star review 😂🤗

House is beautiful! Sandra was very responsive. Sitting on the front porch was lovely.

We so enjoyed our stay in this little cabin close to all the amenities we were looking for. We made a last minute trip to the area for snowmobiling. Krystal was very responsive with communication and assisted with the booking. We felt right at home the minute we walked in the door. We loved the fact we could bring our dogs with us to, however this time they stayed at home. We'd loved to come back for another stay perhaps in the summer and then again next winter for more snowmobiling!! Thanks again! P.S. We never did find all the moose, bear and elephants in the cabin! What a wonderful time we had. The location is even more beautiful than the photos show. The home was perfect for us. We loved the beautiful yard and access to the water. We went for trail runs and bike rides, a moose tour, canoeing, and stargazing. The kids and dogs were in the water daily, the grown ups almost as often! The kitchen and bathroom are immaculately clean. No bugs like another guest had mentioned, none! The washer and dryer worked great and made for a huge time saver when we were back home unpacking with clean laundry. Breakfast on the screened in porch was lovely. Tracey was an excellent host and we would be very excited to join again in the future. The kids said it was the BEST spot ever!

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the serene beauty of the location and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the cabin. The cabin itself is an absolute gem—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could wish for while retaining a rustic, cozy feel. We particularly loved the spacious deck overlooking the lake, where we enjoyed our morning coffee and watched the sunset every evening. The wood-burning stove in the living room was perfect for those chilly Maine nights, adding to the cozy ambiance. Heather was an exceptional host—attentive, responsive, and thoughtful. She provided detailed recommendations for local activities, dining options, and hiking trails, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Great place to stay in Rockwood. This place is very quiet and comfortable and was well stocked with everything we needed. we stayed 5 days and didn't really want to leave and I would highly recommend staying here. Kaity was responsive but we really didn't need anything. We actually slept better here than we do at home.

A great house for a large family or multiple friends. We had a great stay. The house is comfortable and nice. We love walking to the public beach which is close by and has a small playground. We’ll be back!

The cabin was very clean and well stocked. It is very tastefully decorated and free of clutter with a lot of space to store your stuff. It is a great location near the water and the kayaks are an added bonus. The outdoor seating area and the fire pit allowed us to spend most of our time enjoying the outdoors.

A snowmobilers paradise! This house has a huge yard for trailers with trail access right from the backyard. Short snowmobile ride to fuel and a repair shop. This house is perfectly located to ride on many different snowmobile routes. I would suggest grocery shopping before getting to the house as there are only small convenience stores close by. All large grocery stores as 45 minutes or so away. All around great spot! We will be back!

This house is an Airbnb gem! We felt so at home and comfortable! The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens. The owner was very quick to respond and so generous and flexible.

The location and accommodations were excellent, a perfect place for a home base in the Greenville/Moosehead area! Vacasa went above and beyond with instructions and the home was exactly as described. Would love to stay here again one day!

Great house if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway. Even though the location is quiet and a bit off the main road, it is still close to town and restaurants.

Beautiful secluded place with amazing views. There is water access, although may be hard for some to get to, as it is steep. We had a great time and would like to come back again soon!

This property is great! My only note is that the cabin on the lake has only 2 beds, so most people will sleep in the other 2. That said, it can be nice since you will be spending the majority of your time hanging out at that building, and being able to step away from the main group makes sleeping easier.
