Location was stunning, the host was lovely and it has beautiful walks on the doorstep. Hot tub definitely worth the extra money as elevates the stay to another level. The dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well!

The cabin is set in a beautiful location and is roomy and well equipped. Even in February we were cosy and warm. There are thoughtful touches like board games which we enjoyed playing. There was a handy guide to local restaurants and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. We would highly recommend Tessa’s cabin , Thank you Rose & Adrian

A beautiful stay at this absolutely idyllic cottage. Janet and Mike are amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Janet was brilliant with clear instructions on locating the property and was happy with a flexible check in for me with me working night shifts. The cottage is deceptively larger than it appears outside. Plenty of space to relax and unwind. The gardens and the birds were phenomenal. I even took a day off to enjoy this peaceful setting. I will most definitely be back to explore more of the countryside. The walk around the local reservoir was beautiful with stunning scenery and wildlife. Everything you could want and more. Thank you!

This was our third stay at the lovely barn and I’m sure we will be back in future. Lots of character, beautiful, peaceful surroundings with a few pubs within a couple of miles walk. Diana was a great host as ever, overall another very enjoyable stay.

I had myself a lovely stay at David's Airbnb. The surrounding area is absolutely lovely and the host, David, is even more so. If you're looking for a place to stay, you've found it.

Wonderful long weekend at Flagstone Cottage, the most peaceful place we’ve ever been, no car noises whatsoever and beautiful scenery. Cottage was exactly as described. We asked for the BBQ to come back out and Clare actually brought out all the outside furniture for us to use which was a nice surprise when we got back from our day trip. Our 5yo daughter loved the mezzanine bedroom and being able to have multiple baths a day (we only have a shower at home). The walk from Llanthony Priory up Hatterhall hill is amazing and the pint in the priory grounds at the end was very scenic and rewarding! Hay-On-Wye is well worth a visit, Abergavenny also.

My husband and I had a great time over Easter. Fab walks from the doorstep both up the mountains and low level and also very beautiful surroundings. Walked to the local pub, friendly and good food. Liz and Steve were also friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return.

We loved our stay here! Very close to the Brecon Beacons where we did a sunrise hike up Pen Y Fan and we did the four falls trail too. The air b and b itself was glamping but to another level! Everything was so thought through and the facilities were amazing. We wish we booked 1 extra night and were so sad to leave! Laura is such a welcoming hosts and has very good communication, would love to stay here again.

Absolutely lovely place to stay! We needed a bit of time away from everything and this place is perfect. Quiet and great scenery. Kids loved the hot tub and averywhere nice and clean

Fantastic home, perfect location, great hosts. Could not ask for more. Myself and 10 other lifelong friends spent a long weekend here and the place is just amazing. We were lucky with the weather and was able to spend most of the time in the very large jacuzzi which is big enough to easily for 5 people. The log fire and the garden areas front, and rear are just perfect to enjoy the sun with your friends. The amenities are exactly as described, we very much enjoyed the pool and large TV/lounge areas. Kitchen area was also perfect for cooking large meals for all 11 of us. Being so close to Abergavenny town centre was also great. 5min Taxi as we were in the centre enjoying the weather and some local restaurants. Genuinly one of the best places I've stayed in.

It was a lovely stay, exactly what we were looking for. Very peaceful with stunning views. We hope to stay there again in the future.

We had a lovely time in the cottage staying for a week before Easter. It really is in a beautiful rural location, very peaceful but only a relatively short drive from civilisation too! Clare was away for the first half of the week but still very responsive to messages, checking everything was ok and quickly giving us simple instructions on where to find something we asked for. She also thoughtfully checked with us to ensure the timing of some building work didn't interfere with our plans. The cottage itself is small (I think that's very clear from the description and pictures, so absolutely not a complaint!) but has a dedicated outdoor space too. The wifi was excellent - often something rural properties struggle to offer - and the animals were a nice bonus for the kids too. Thanks for hosting us!

We just spent a wonderful Easter Weekend at Lesley and Martin's place. Wonderful hosts very friendly and helpful. The property was immaculately clean and had the most beautiful outside space. The kitchen had great facilities and we were provided with lots of nice extras like cakes fresh fruit as well as lots of tea coffee milk etc. The bathroom is fantastic an amazing roll top bath and walk in shower. The bed had top quality bedding and was really comfortable. Lesley was brilliant at providing local information and we really enjoyed walking in the local area. We are planning a return visit.

So peaceful! The most quiet serene environment with the most beautiful views! Our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and kind and made us feel so welcome in our stay! The treats they left us with was such a warm welcome! The hot tub was amazing especially looking over the mountains! Plenty of space and the bifold doors made it extra special to take in all the scenery! The shower felt like a spa and the products we had made it even more special, and thankfully they were cruelty free too! An extra nice touch! The lodge and the outside kitchen was so well equipped we could not believe it! A small space of quiet, calm and happiness. Beds and linens were lovely and we were completely private and out of any view! Plus the alpacas were great! You can see the animals and land were so well taken care of! Idealic!

Me and my family had the most amazing stay at the Sugerlaof Barn. In total we had 6 adults, a toddler and a dog and we were all very happy and well catered for. You can tell how much work and care went into renovating this place, they truly have done an amazing job and thought of everything. Sheri (and everyone around the farm) were excellent, attentive hosts and made sure we were looked after. We were there to celebrate my birthday and I couldn’t have chose a better venue, sat out in the sun looking over the incredible view. I would definitely review the guide they share as it had some great recommendations, we went to a couple of the pubs/cafes they recommended and they did not disappoint. Another recommendation I would have is to get some marshmallows from the market in Abergavenny and then roast them in the fire pit in the evening just as the light is falling over the hills, truly magical!

Absolutely fantastic Airbnb! We have stayed in a fair few and this is definitely one of the best we have stayed in, for the location, size and definitely amenities! It was great to have everything we needed already there to compliment what we'd brought! The barn itself is a phenomenal space; we were really lucky with the weather and were treated to some amazing star gazing and sunset! The kids play area was lovely and our little one had a fantastic time playing as well as saying hello to the cows and chickens! Would highly recommend and would love to return in the future!

We really enjoyed our time at the cottage! we were given recommendations for places to go and eat and the location of the property was close to everything we wanted to do! The property was really well equipped with everything we needed also. It was beautiful place with stunning views - we will definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at Roz's place. Beautiful walks up Sugar Loaf mountain and surrounding area from the doorstep. Great view across to Abergavenny from the table in garden. Really clean and well equipped house, lovely linen on the beds too. We enjoyed watching the lambs, chickens, birds and ducks from the house. Cosy woodburner in the evenings was a real treat. Roz and Pip were very helpful with anything we needed. Would totally recommend this lovely house to get away from it all. Thank you!

Nagi & Victoria’s place was perfect for us and a great walking holiday with our two dogs. The accommodation has excellent space outside to let your four legged friends free roam and inside is a well laid out space allowing for both family time and self time. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A great place for a family holiday. Perfect for teenagers & adults. Elderly guests can stay on the lower floors. Very well kitted out with everything you might need. Would recommend it for 12 people. Also accommodates dogs.

Had a lovely restful stay at Sarah's. Both our dogs were happy; a daschund and wolfhound. Good walks around and lovely space at Sarah's to allow the dogs to have a run around as well as a safe walled garden to keep the dogs safe and stop them from roaming free on the farm. Lovely local pubs with good food and all we visited welcomed the dogs and us making us feel very welcome. Would stay again.
