Melissa’s place is lovely - very cozy, private, and has everything we could need for a weekend! The location is quiet and a short drive to Cornell and IC. Melissa was very friendly, gave us some much appreciated flexibility with the check in time, and greeted us upon our arrival to make sure all was well. Highly recommend!

Meredith, the manager, was spectacular. She was a warm and welcoming host who took the time to make us feel at home with breakfast and good conversation. I recommend the Inn to every person passing through Blue Mountain Lake. You will not be disappointed!

Susan is a wonderful host and a very lovely person! We had a very nice time staying at Susan's place! It was very warmly feeling to get a delicious breakfast made by Susan, and we especially loved the apple cobbler made by Susan. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality :). We would love to come to your place again!

My husband and 2 year old stayed at Ellen’s barn for the weekend. The space was very big, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent for exploring the area, we didn’t spend much time in the barn as we spent much of our day exploring. Would highly recommend Ellen’s place!

Happy to stay at Kathy's place. She welcomed me in first thing and we had a lovely chat about the history of the farmhouse. The guest area was charming and cozy, and the property and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. Even on a pre-spring rainy day in March, it was a spectacular sight from the porch. Truly appreciated the fruit and banana bread as well as access to additional food and drink during my stay. Everything was clean and fresh and the mirrors were low enough for my short stature to see my face in (which is something I always appreciate). All in all an enjoyable stay!

The place was beautiful inside & out. Easy entry per email instructions. Lots of room for all of our family. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Appliances were new. Washer & dryer was convenient to use also. Bathrooms very clean & stocked. Property & view was breathtaking. We would definitely return again..

Scottland Yard Farm is amazing. We had the most comfortable sleep we have ever had "glamping". The tent was roomy, the bed was comfortable, and it was super helpful to have a heated blanket, fan, and a fridge in our space. The communal areas are great too! I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry spaces were. The animals were adorable and overall I would highly recommend staying here!

Loved our stay at Sharon’s place in Pratts Hollow! Sharon was super friendly and welcoming and cooked us an amazing made to order breakfast every morning. Super comfortable beds in a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Would love to return!

Excellent stay! The room was perfect. We stayed in the Dinah Shore Suite in the separate building, which felt like our own apartment. Had nice view of the pond with a lovely sitting area. Looking forward to enjoying the outdoor spaces in a future stay, because we will be back. Area hotels book far in advance for Bing graduation weekend; 9 mos prior to graduation I lucked out and found this. Better than a hotel: private and peaceful plus all the basics: coffee, iron, hairdryer, linens and fluffy towels. It was only 15 min to campus and Melissa gave us great leads on restaurants. And breakfast! Served buffet style in main house with seating communally indoor or outdoor plus a large living room space to enjoy the view. A thoughtful spread with juice, fruit, yogurt, granola, baked goods plus an egg dish each day. All fresh and delicious. Melissa made sure to ask about food preferences and accommodated my gf restrictions with supplemental foods. Thank you! Great host and great place!

Let me begin by saying that I am beyond grateful to Jeff and Amy. Also Jeff’s sister Susanne. They made me and my husband feel so welcomed. We enjoyed listening to the house history, also looking at the picture albums from previous owners. Jeff and Amy you guys are creating your own story now in this house ( make sure you guys make your own album for guest to also enjoy the evolution of the house since you guys started on this dream that came true)This house is a home away from home. We had Mrs. White room. It has everything we needed. Only if the mattress was a little more firm ( I don’t like soft mattresses) this will be the only downside in this room. Last but not least the breakfast is scrumptious. That was another reason why I booked it😀. On the way out Jeff , Amy and Susanne came outside to say goodbye like if we were part of their family💕. Thank you so much for everything. See you again

Wonderful stay at Carol’s historic home. I loved the vintage furniture and decor. Clean, comfortable, and cozy. A great retreat after skiing and delicious breakfast. Everyone was so friendly :)

As the other reviews have mentioned, John is a beyond excellent host!!! And very responsive! He is also very knowledgeable and helpful regarding shops and restaurants in Troy. Nigel and Margaret (John’s greyhounds) are also very good companions at this Inn! The decor in the rooms and in the shared rooms and hallways is just beautiful and very interesting! And he serves delicious homemade breakfast! With alfresco dining as an option in the warmer weather.

Lovely BnB in downtown Utica. We are cycling the Erie Canal Trail and they were very helpful in allowing us a secure place for our bikes. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and chatting with other guests while eating or relaxing on the front porch. The room we stayed in was pretty small with only one chair to sit in, so we spent most of our time either out doing things or on the porch or the parlor. Room air conditioner worked great, however there wasn’t much air conditioning in the rest of the building. It was an unusually hot weekend. Hosts were friendly - breakfast and treats were yummy.

Could not have asked for a better Airbnb experience! Donna made us feel right at home. Her place was like a mini historical step back in time/art museum. My friends abs I enjoyed the local hiking trails recommendations since our plans to ski fell through with the warmth warm up. We also had the most deliciously prepared home cook meals that was an absolute treat to drive back after a day of hiking to comfort but healthy food that we choose from her wide variety menu selection. From vegetarian to the meat lovers. The breakfast in the morning was A+ as it was a surprise each morning with something different. Thank you again and I am sure we will be back.

Field was an absolutely wonderful host! His instructions prior to arrival were very helpful, especially as we were navigating during a weekend with particularly poor weather. Field’s home is immaculate, filled with storied antiques and charming paintings and lived history - living and breathing! Field was so friendly and accommodating, with many excellent recommendations for activities of all kinds. We had a few lovely engaging chats about life and art and love, and it was wonderful to connect! He was a highlight in a weekend already chock-full of highs! Thank you, again, Field! This was our fourth stay at Nancy’s. She always helps us feel comfortable and she usually offers us tea and a treat when we arrive. Her breakfast included blueberry lavender scones and granola and also an omelet with coffee. She has written a cookbook and her food is always delicious. The bed is comfortable and this time I enjoyed a walk around the property. It could not be a more peaceful place.

Kathleen was a pleasure to work with and spend time with. We were there in “off season” and we enjoyed having her spend time with us at breakfasts. They were doing some upgrades to the house but it did not affect our stay at all. It will be really nice when it is completed soon.

Marikate and her husband were fantastic hosts - we felt welcome and taken care of the moment we arrived. The accommodations are as described…the environment is tranquil and relaxed. The house is very close to Saratoga Springs’ main drag where there are lots of restaurants and shopping to explore. Strongly recommend!

Our stay with Priscilla in the farmhouse was wonderful. The room we stayed in was very spacious with a big bed and several very comfy chairs. Priscilla greeted us in a very friendly manner and showed us all around and gave us recommendations for dinner. She was available to us for whatever we needed. We had two incredible breakfasts during our stay. Her avocado toast, which she was trying for the first time, was the best that I have had! On day number two we had delicious chicken sausage and blueberry pancakes, along with fresh fruit and orange juice and coffee. Once again, delicious. I grew up in a rural area so staying at this farmhouse on a rural road brought back many memories for me. The peace and the quiet was incredible….. And yet… You don’t have to go far to get to major roads or delicious food. On our last night, we went to Stacy‘s Scratch Kitchen in Broad Albin. Don’t miss this one! We gave it an 11 out of 10. 😊 Thank you, Priscilla, for everything!

Catalpa House is exactly what you want in a small town retreat; comfortable bedding, well chosen amenities, superb breakfast, accommodating but not intrusive hosts, lovely common areas with local literature and current periodicals. It doesn't get better.

Yes it was well worth the money and time it took to get there. Andrea was a Fabulous Host and very accommodating. Her Kitchen was in the process of being renovated. So there was some disarray. But the space I stayed in was very organized, quaint and comfortable. We really connected and truly I didn't want to leave! Thanks Andrea!

We had a lovely stay here. As soon as we walked in we were overjoyed with the accommodations. Very spacious, warm, and inviting. My son was so excited he couldn’t get over it. The fireplace was a huge plus! Robert was extremely responsive and helpful when needed. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone looking to visit Lake George. We would definitely stay here again.
