Fantastic accommodation exactly as described. 5 min walk to bars/restaurants & shops. Lovely comfy beds with immaculate linen. Wish we could have stayed longer than the one night Will definitely stay again if visiting Mudgee. I highly recommend this 5* accommodation.

Like previous reviews, Haywards Cottage is a gorgeous step back in time but with all the necessities to make for a truly relaxing stay. The property itself is huge with gorgeous gardens and we loved sitting on the front verandah in the sunshine with a glass of wine. Sharon is lovely and we appreciated the early check in. A block from Rylstone Main Street so walkable to cafes, pubs and restaurants. Thanks Sharon, we had a lovely stay.

clean house, comfortable, quiet area, good size backyard. walking distance to shops and city centre. everything good except I couldn't open my bedroom windows as I did'nt have a key to unlock. the back steps have gaps so you can see the ground. nothing wrong with steps but so some dogs don't like to walk on. My greyhound wouldn't walk on them, so had to take her out the front and round the back.

We had a beautiful stay at Nicole's place. It was very clean and comfortable. The entire home is beautifully furnished and the beds were very comfortable. Location is great. just a 5 minute walk from the township of Gulgong and the history museums. We also really enjoyed the peaceful outdoor area and barbecue. I absolutely recommend Nicole's place!

Great location with beautifully appointed furnishings and comfortable setting. Thoroughly enjoyed our walks around the property with sunset views. Our ridgeback enjoyed the dog visits with the resident dog crew during our stay. Highly recommend this relaxing holiday or weekend getaway. Spacious, practical and luxurious accommodation.

Staying at Marsimbet Cottage felt like staying at a friend's place - a musical friend with great taste in books, who supports the same AFL team. 😄 The cottage was cosy but also allowed our family of four space to retreat from one other. It was great being easy walking distance from everything too. Paul was friendly and communicative and we really appreciated the chance to check in early.

Our family of four and doggo thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thistle Hill. So much so we didn’t want to leave at the end of our week there. Cam and Carmen have created a peaceful haven at Thistle Hill with an immaculately decorated home and amenities that help you to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. They even left us wine, fresh eggs, sourdough, yoghurt, granola, marmalade and everything we needed for a delicious breakfast the morning after our arrival. They were excellent to communicate with and had detailed instructions and guides for the surrounding areas. I could not recommend Thistle Hill enough, we would love to come back again soon.

Beautiful property and surrounds. Comfortable bedding and living areas. We didnt realise we had to bring our own towels. No fault of the owners, I didn't see it in the fine print. Bringing back our rubbish was a bit of a hassle but not a deal breaker. Understandable given the location. Excellent communication with the owners. There is a bit of a process turning things on before entering the property but it is well communicated and easy enough to follow. Our Labrador loved the property too. We felt comfortable letting him run around. The fences were great. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We'll definitely return again.

Everything was lovely, private location stunning grounds. Church itself quaint & very clean. Suggest newspaper & smaller kindling for fireplace, larger wood good. Complimentary wine a lovely gesture. Will come back again. Ann

The property was great! Pool is the star, kids loved to spend time there. Ingrid is a great host, very responsive for any questions during pre-arrival. Bear the dog is super friendly. The location of the property is also convinient as it is only 5 mins drive to the town. Overall i give 5 out of 5. Definitely recommend this place for anyone wants to visit and stay a few nights in Mudgee

We stayed at Tamara’s property and had a wonderful time. Location is private and quiet but close enough to drive to town if need be. House was very clean and aesthetically beautiful, and all the amenities worked well. Absolutely would spend time there again!

Absolutely beautiful surrounds, very spacious house and grounds, well equipped and thoughtfully decorated. For the capacity, the house is large with lots of seating and dining areas to choose from. Great pool and pool table was a good addition. Great space for dog. Would definitely plan to return.

The most incredible location and setup! We had the most wonderful time and would love to come back again soon! We are so thrilled we found this incredibly unique place! The train was setup with everything we needed, the fire was so nice and cosy, the sunsets and sunrises overlooking the valley were nothing short of spectacular! We are leaving with memories that will last a lifetime! We knew we were staying in a gorgeous train carriage.. what we didn’t realise was that it was the same train carriage that was setup at as a classroom at my primary school over 30 years ago. Craig very kindly pointed out a photo album containing old photos of when the train was stationed at my school, with some of my old school mates. Mind blown!! Thanks for such a special weekend!

The property was lovely. Very secluded, cozy, and comfortable. Was nice to spend a weekend there.

Had an amazing unplugged experience at Vicky and Brian’s Stockyard Experience. Definitely would recommend! The tents, facilities and atmosphere is the perfect glamping experience. It was well equipped including bbq and a pizza oven. The area was very private and had amazing views of the sunsets, sunrises and bright stars. We hope to be back in the future, thank you again Vicky and Brian.

Great place, with other farms nearby. If you have pets, this is great place for them to run around and explore. All amenities you may need are provided. It’s about 30 minutes from Mudgee, so great place if you are looking for peace and quiet. Quite a few vineyards within 20 - 25 minutes, so lots to explore. Had a great time.

We had the most amazing two days here. The home and surroundings are absolutely beautiful and everywhere you look, there’s something special to take in. From peaceful walks right outside the house, to a bath overlooking the bush, and waking up to kangaroos at the window, it was pure magic. The space had everything we needed, and Denny was incredibly helpful in the lead-up to our stay. I truly didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back. Do yourself a favour and book this place!

What a beautiful apartment! Very spacious, modern and clean and conveniently located within easy walking distance to the main street. Matt and Tessa are wonderful hosts and very friendly and flexible with requests. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely book again!

Lovely place. Lots of space with a beautiful backyard. Nice and quiet with plenty of space and room. Very close to centre of town and really simple and easy experience with Elizabeth.

This is one of those places you start to miss before you've even left. The owners have done the most amazing job curating this space and have created a truly unique experience. Both the architecturally design indoors and the view of the valley outdoors are equally captivating. Our favourite space to spend time was sitting on the steps of the living room or lounging on the built-in couches admiring the escarpment across the valley.
