Exclusive use modern barn with stunning views

The barn is exclusive use with own self check in entry. It is an ideal location for the fresh air of the South Downs National Park, country walks, pubs and coastal visits. Alternatively, drive 20 minutes either way to Brighton or Eastbourne for the arts, nightlife or restaurant scenes. This accommodation provides a warm and comfortable welcome providing peace and quiet within a village environment. We are situated near the South Downs which is accessible by bike or car, only a 3 mile drive/ride in country lanes. The opera house Glyndebourne is a short distance, as is Charleston farmhouse, the country home of the Bloomsbury set. Ideally situated for the best of East Sussex. We have a private drive for you to park and separate access to the barn, to allow privacy. There is an area of garden and terrace available for you to enjoy the views. All the accommodation is on one level and assistance to terrace from the garden for wheelchairs will be made available if required. We live in the house north of the barn and will be mostly available to help with local knowledge of trips, attractions and restaurant recommendations. Our local inn The Yew Tree is most welcoming and offers our local ale "Harveys" as well as many of the local artisan brews such as Longman. The house is a three-minute walk from the village store offering homemade foods and local produce, as well as a cafe. The beaches at Seaford and Newhaven are a 15-minute drive away. There are wonderful village pubs all within striking distance. Berwick station is only 2.5 miles away with trains going to London, Gatwick, Brighton and Eastbourne. The airport LGW London Gatwick is a 45 minute drive away, LHR London Heathrow 1hr 15 minutes approx. The public transport is limited and we would recommend you use a taxi if you do not have a car. The barn has extensive views, including the bedroom which has a wonderful view across the gardens. The barn adjoins a large green field which is grown for meadow hay. The sunsets behind the ancient saxon burial mound known as Mount Caburn. The burning sky sunsets are the best!

‘The Water Snug’ Floating Lake Cabin

Sit back, relax and enjoy the ambience that will surround you in our stunning new one bedroom house boat. Situated near the pretty village of East Hoathly, East Sussex, set on our picturesque one acre lake. Feel at one with nature from inside the beautifully decorated interior, with log burner, fully fitted kitchen, modern toilet/shower room, double aspect bedroom, with windows that allow the outside in. East Hoathly has a pub, coffee shop and village shop a 10 min walk away or 1 min drive.

Entire guest house studio - West Sussex

Stay in our lovely bright studio annexe, in the grounds of our house on the outskirts of Billingshurst. Ideally situated to explore West Sussex we are close to Petworth, Parham House, Arundel and the South Downs National Park. The Studio has a comfortable King size bed, seating area, kitchen with 2 ring hob, microwave, fridge, Nespresso machine and a fully fitted bathroom. There is also a freeview TV and Wifi. The Studio is independent of the main property and has its own parking space.

Winter retreat - sauna, cold plunge pond & hot tub

Spa with hot tub and sauna all heated via a log burner for the ultimate retreat break. Guest house in large gardens, king sized bed, small kitchen and en-suite. Many local attractions near Brighton Gatwick Airport and the South Downs! Pull out double sofa bed, works well for smaller family’s. Stunning 25 meter swimming pond, water is crystal clear. Large deck and sun-loungers by the swimming pond. We use the garden too, it’s part of our home but there is plenty of opportunity for privacy.

Countryside setting within a convenient location.

Set in lovely countryside, the Stables Flat is a private one bedroom apartment decorated in a modern style. It is part of a stable yard that is no longer in use. Guests and their dogs are welcome to enjoy the paddocks and small patch of woodland that form part of the property. There are lots of circular country walks including dog friendly pubs and the Bolney wine estate and cafe. Being close to the A23 and A272, gives easy access to Brighton, Hickstead, Gatwick and Nymans gardens.

Stunning Studio Barn, Buxted

Our chalet-inspired studio barn, with vaulted ceilings and oak beams, is light and airy in the summer and beautifully warm and cosy in the winter, with underfloor heating throughout. It is completely self-contained, with a separate entrance from the adjacent family house. With a sumptuous superking bed (or two twins), sofa bed, unlimited fast WiFi and HDTV, you are assured of a relaxing and welcoming stay in a family-friendly setting in the East Sussex countryside.

Lewes is a vibrant town with an interesting history and close to Brighton. Our recently refurbished annex is perfect for relaxing, exploring the local area, visiting family or whilst travelling for work. It has a light, modern feel, and generously-sized rooms.

Former Game keepers lodge with woodburner

Sheffield Park lodge is a special place to stay & has a style all its own. Formerly a game keepers lodge for the house on the Sheffield Park Estate (now a National Trust Garden), the lodge has been lovingly restored. Sitting in 14 acres of meadow and woodland, the lodge shares the driveway to our home while providing privacy. You will be perfectly located to explore the beauty, the heritage and excitement that East Sussex has to offer.

Burghurst Lodge

Self-contained accommodation sympathetically converted from an old cart shed set in a courtyard opposite the owners' house. The property is on a quiet lane close to the centre of Horsted Keynes. There are two pubs and a small shop in the village within walking distance. Dogs are allowed on request. Electric car charging available, payable on use.
