We had a beautiful stay here 😊 lovely, peaceful surroundings and just what we wanted for a last minute getaway. The hut was slightly difficult to find in the dark but what a stunning place it is! Would definitely recommend this place to all 😁

A wonderful glamping/country farm site. We stayed in the Norfolk shepherds hut and it was perfect - spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want. A well thought-out brochure to download onto your phone with all the information you could need for your stay. Complimentary fresh free range eggs! Just perfect.

What a lovely little hideaway retreat, everything we needed was there, very comfortable, clean and peaceful. A gorgeous view across the valley, if it had been a bit warmer we would have sat outside more, but very cosy inside the hut, and we can't control the weather! A thoughtful selection of breakfast ingredients was provided, and even a bottle of fizz (for the evening, not for breakfast) Main bed was very comfortable, we didn't try the smaller ones, though. Lovely picturesque villages nearby, with pubs to eat out, etc. Would definitely recommend

"Wow" what a find! Such a beautiful place and so peaceful. The Shepherds hut was even better than it looked ,in the pictures and very spacious considering. It was spotless inside and had everything you needed. I loved that we arrived to homemade cakes and goodies in the fridge. My son loved the animals and we were very lucky to meet Bob who kindly told my son about the animals and let him help feed some of them. Bob and Helen are excellent hosts, they go above and beyond from start to finish and nothing is to much trouble. We shall be back.

On the search for a weekend getaway from London with two of my friends, we found Alder at Fenlodge. It met our expectations and more. Neill and John are perfect hosts. Incredibly welcoming and generous, and with plenty of great recommendations of how to make the most of our short stay. They really did go above and beyond. It is beautifully landscaped, creating a feeling of privacy from the other cabins. The hut was as charming as it is in the photos, and had everything we could need. We opted in for the hamper, and so glad we did. The quality was outstanding with locally sourced produce and was more than enough for 3 adults over two breakfasts. We made the most of the idyllic surroundings by enjoying breakfasts outside in the sun and cooler evenings round the fire. They really have thought of every detail and we all can't wait to return. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

A beautiful little stay at the shepherds hut. It was so peaceful & just what we needed to escape city life for a night. The hosts were super friendly, really responsive and had a few recommendations for what’s near by, would definitely recommend staying here.

A lovely quiet Shepards hut and exactly as described. We had the most calm and peaceful weekend in beautiful surroundings. Louise was a fab host and always responded very quickly if we needed anything. Very quiet. The hut itself was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. It had everything we needed including some fun games to play. The highlight of our trip was sitting around the firepit of the evening, which Louise supplied us with plenty of firewood and more the following night to make sure we didn’t run out. It was very easy to find and to access. We also went for a lovely meal which was about a 10 minute drive away to a restaurant called the spotted dog which was a lovely pub with great food. The closest shops were 10 mins away but very stocked. Overall it was a great weekend and we would love to come back. 100% recommened this to anyone looking for a beautiful relaxing getaway.

We had the most relaxed and peaceful stay in this gorgeous cabin. It completely exceeded our expectations and is such great value for money! Tucked away and secluded in its own private area surrounded by nature, this was perfect for us to unwind and relax. It even has its own lil pond on the front! The bed was super comfy and the kitchen had everything we could need. Lovely little seating area on the decking out front overlooking the pond and a fire pit for the evenings. The on suite building was perfect and the water heats up super fast and with good pressure too! Thank you, we LOVED it!

Lovely hut in a lovely spot. Perfect for a weekend away. The hut was exactly as described and there were a few extra nice touches the hosts provided. Use of a pair of bicycles was great and we enjoyed exploring the area. We would greatly recommend this place and we hope to return at some point in the future.

Jonny and Jackie were very friendly hosts, who checked on us but also gave up space and privacy. The cabin is very unusual and it was really cool that it was all made from reclaimed materials (even the insulation!). There isn't a shower anymore but the outside loo is useful at night and the bathroom in the house is very nice. The garden is also lovely and if the weather's good you have plenty of space, and it's a great place to sit and relax. We had everything we needed. The cabin is very small as expected but cosy and comfortable and the outside cooking area is well-equipped (although only one person can cook at a time because it's little). If you're staying here as two people it would suit a couple or someone else you know very well who you're happy to be in close proximity with!

I had a really lovely, relaxing, stay - from the warm welcome and helpfulness of Lizzie and Jules to the well equipped shepherds hut with a comfy bed and excellent shower! Would recommend & would stay again.

Hayley's place was just perfect! The hut was clean the hamper was a treat and the peaceful surroundings were just what we needed. check in was faultless and the showers were warm. We will be back.

Lovely peaceful quiet location, hut was very clean and tidy. Definitely the cosiest warmest hut I've been in, even in the coldest of weathers you should be warm once you get the heater going. Richard gave clear precise instructions on how to check in, didn't get to meet him as he was away but met his sister Gillian on arrival, who is a wonderfully kind helpful lady and was quick to respond if i was in need. All in all a great peaceful experience, would love to be back someday.

Michelle‘s Shepherd hut was more stunning than the pictures depicted. Everything was spotless and the setting was idylllic. The fire pit was a wonderful addition, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is very rural and if you want utter peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Don’t hesitate to book.

Shepherds hut was perfect for two of us and the dog! Location very peaceful and we were made to feel right at home in the pub, where the food was superb and the welcome was warm. Particular thanks to Andy who was the perfect host. We will be back 👍👍

Mint sauce didn't disappoint! The hut has everything needed for a little break. Waking up and looking out across the fields as the rabbits roam was stunning; a lovely farmland walk on the doorstep was lovely in the morning sunshine.

The Shepherd’s Hut is a charming and peaceful retreat, perfect for a relaxing escape. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind. Next time we visit, we’ll be sure to make the most of the outdoor BBQ and fire pit!

Once l booked the weekend away for my husband’s Anniversary surprise the information by text was welcoming and made me want to go there and then Jennifer responded to my questions immediately We we greeted by friends of Jennifer and Tim, who were so welcoming and showed us round the lodge, showing us how things worked, they had even given us Milk, fresh bread from local bakery, gorgeous chocolate cookies and tea, coffee, chocolate, pods how kind The lodge was home from home, bespoke furniture, amazing comfortable bed never slept so good 😊 We had our own towelling wraps for the jacuzzi, such a lovely touch the jacuzzi was just amazing right temperature clean and you could look up see the stars like magical We have never been somewhere so quiet amongst birds of all varieties we saw a woodpecker WOW The walks in the area are beautiful quiet a so many different trees 🌲 we did some tree hugging 🤗 the stress of life drained from us didn’t want to leave Thank you Jennifer we will re

L'alloggio è molto bello e pulitissimo. Sam ci ha fatto trovare anche qualche bevanda in frigo molto apprezzata! Locazione tranquilla in mezzo alla natura.

Fantastic cabin in a beautiful location, proper luxury but so close to nature, waking up to the frozen lake in anticipation of a sauna was amazing! Sarah and Will were great hosts and so helpful with check in and ideas about the local area, many thanks!

Lovely location with accommodating host. Cabin has all the essentials and is cozy with the fire on. Barnaby was very responsive and helpful and was kind enough to provide a later checkout to enjoy the space!
