Great little spot with easy access to Norwich and the coast, Steve met us as soon as we arrived and gave us some recommendations and explained how to use how the hot tub. If we are ever planning a trip again we will definitely stay again!

Gorgeous location! Comfy cabin, with everything I needed. Lovely friendly hosts and it was great to receive a freshly baked loaf of bread on arrival, plus jam, butter and milk. Museli and oats provided for breakfast too. Lots of lovely hot water in bathroom adjoining the cabin. I'm tall so the shower height was a little low for me (standing in the bath), but it was very easily worked around. Next time I'll bring binoculars and my camera, as the wildlife down the lane heading towards the river was wonderful. I also loved that the cabin is located near World Horse Welfare (although it was unfortunately closed due to an infection - but I could see the horses in the fields). Also great walking/cycling around the lanes. I was visiting the Norwich and Thetford areas and the cabin is conveniently located between the two. I'd love to stay again and definitely recommend the cabin.

Lovely, attentive host. The lodge is a short walk away from the local shop and pub which has a restaurant inside and music on the weekend. Plenty to do in the area. Perfect for a weekend away.

The location and layout of the Barn were perfect for our 2 night stay with friends. The views and weather were lovely so we particularly enjoyed sitting out on the deck to eat & play cards etc. An outside light would have been nice in the evenings and the deck itself could do with a bit of t l c as it is a main feature of the property. There were fairy lights but no obvious way of turning them on. Overall we had a great stay with plenty of scenic walks, pubs etc nearby. Richard is a most helpful and friendly host and we would definitely recommend The Barn.

Checked in on the Friday from about 5.30 and Pippa greeted us, showed us how to use the hot tub and the fire. Gave us useful information about the local area and things we could do. The lodge was so spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was fantastic. Pippa and Steve take pride in what they do and we would love to come back in the Summer months. Thank you for making our stay so straightforward and hassle free.

The property was excellent. We were only there for one night. The only issue was the driving instructions are based upon approaching the property from Lowestoft. If approachiong from the South and if using Google maps you end up just down the road from the property. Jessica guided us in so all good.

Enjoyed my stay in this well equipped self contained space. The description and pics accurately represent the studio. Ross was helpful with a couple of queries when I Rrived. I considered this to be good value accommodation.

Glenn was a great host before and throughout our stay. The place had everything we needed for our family of 4 and pup. Glenn and family have done a great job converting the old school. We hope to return in the future!

An absolute gem! Cosy cottage with a magical private garden. Such a peaceful spot perfect for relaxing by the warmth of the chimenea under the stars. Loved the atmospheric boatyard & great pub on your doorstep. Surrounding suffolk has loads to offer - great walks, great food, farm shops & more. A perfect weekend getaway. Thanks for having us, highly recommend & we will be returning.

A lovely cabin with everything you could need in a peaceful location. Katie was very helpful and very quick to respond to any questions I had.

We have just returned home from our 3rd stay. As always, it was spotlessly clean, well appointed and very comfortable. A perfect spot for peace and quiet. Ideal for sitting out, enjoying the pond, wildlife and birdsong. Jenny was as accommodating as ever, with good updates around arrival and check in. We will return again, as we love it so much. We thoroughly recommend this property for a relaxing, break.

Colin and Linda were absolutely wonderful hosts! We stayed for an extended period while awaiting the completion of our house, and they made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Their communication was always prompt and helpful, making our long stay much smoother. What truly stood out was their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile. When we found ourselves needing daycare for our dog, they stepped in to help us out, which was a huge relief! Their generosity and understanding were truly appreciated. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. We highly recommend Colin and Linda to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming Airbnb experience. They made our transitional period so much easier. Thank you both!

Perfect location, we was attending a wedding locally so booked it for a weekend away, Finn communicated with us very well and let us know about how to get into the accommodation late in the evening! Everything was included in the Airbnb and didn’t need to think about anything ! The little touches were perfect, we enjoyed the hot tub a lot! We will definitely be back!

We would definitely recommend a stay at Tilde Lodge. Great location in a beautiful village close to so many visitor attractions. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and very well equipped.

What a wonderful and thoughtfully appointed space! Jan and Dave were both incredibly friendly and kind. The fridge was stocked with breakfast items and they even proactively accommodated my dietary restrictions. Jan offered to get things from the pharmacy when I wasn’t feeling well. The little space is full of light and very pleasantly decorated. I really enjoyed sitting in the backyard. The bed was comfortable. Lots of great forests to walk in within a ten minute drive. One of my favorite Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in, and I’ve been in over 70. Wonderful place, hosts, and stay! I would give more than 5 stars if I could. 😊

We had a lovely stay in the annexe. It was comfortable, warm and cosy. Kirsty provided a helpful welcome pack of milk, bread, butter and cookies plus tea, coffee etc which was a lovely touch and saved us having to rush to a shop. Parking was easy and Kirsty gave good directions and local recommendations. We would highly recommended this place for a quiet stay in Suffolk. Its a great location for exploring Bury St Edmunds and the local area. We ate in the local Blue boar pub and enjoyed the tasty home-cooked food.
