Michoacán: pousadas

We had a lovely stay here. The staff was warm and kind, especially towards our one year old baby. The room was clean and comfortable (although a bit chilly at night. We were surprised there wasn’t heat, and although there was a fire place we had to purchase wood). The cafe was nice aesthetically and food was good too. The garden was colorful and lush.

Muy buen lugar, recomendable para ir en pareja o armar un grupo de amigos para visitar la Casa del Río. Las atenciones de las personas que cuidan el lugar es muy buena y están al pendiente de lo que se pueda ofrecer.

nos dieron indicaciones muy buenas de que visitar en nuestra estancia. Alma muy accesible y amable. sin duda regresaremos, quedó mucho por conocer.

Yolihuani Hotel Pátzcuaro es un lugar encantador. Desde el momento de nuestra llegada percibimos una variedad de agradables aromas y sonidos bastante relajantes que provenían de sus bellísimos jardines. Un sitio en dónde puedes además de relajarse y descansar, encontrar y recuperar tu energía. Además de su inigualable ubicación y un trato excepcional! Sin duda volveremos.

I’m so happy I picked this little hotel for my stay in Valle. The design is beautiful and it’s well located in the town. It was nice there was a restaurant in case I didn’t feel like going out for breakfast or dinner. There was a slight mold smell in the bottom floor room but I’ve encountered that all over Mexico so it’s not unusual. Would definitely stay here again.

El lugar es encantador, sin duda volvería a hospedarme con ustedes. El desayuno es delicioso, la cercanía al centro, la limpieza y todos los detalles son perfecto, me encanto, la pasamos genial, gracias por la comprensión con nuestro perrito.

Casa del Sol is a beautiful inn with a warm pool, terraces (a mirador), and a lovely spacious breakfast area. The breakfast order is submitted the evening before and when you come down for breakfast, they have everything ready for you. The coffee and breakfast were delicious, staff was friendly. There is also coffee and tea available throughout the day in a terrace room near the pool. There are sculptures and paintings by local artists that are on exhibit (and for sale). There are a couple of restaurants very close and they are very good. The plaza is about 5-6 blocks away with more eating options. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. I had a veranda that looked over the pool and it was great to have that space available. I would have liked a firmer bed otherwise it was a lovely place to stay. I hope to stay here again. Elizabeth and the staff are friendly, courteous and helpful.

Charming. Close to the historic center. Kind staff. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

Me sentí como en casa, la atención fue muy personal. El staff maravilloso gente muy jovial, alegre, dispuestos a ayudar y orientar. Lorraine muy al pendiente de todo. El lugar muy bonito y limpio. Muy cerca de centro y malecón para no utilizar auto y caminar a todo. Estuvimos muy contentos. Con gusto regresamos. Los perritos fueron bien recibidos.

My stay at Estrellita’s inn was perfect! The location is the best in town. One block from the lake, two blocks from the plaza and church and within short walking distance to marvelous restaurants. My favorites are Teocintle and Ajijic Tango. The rooms are all decorated tastefully with Mexican artifacts. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms have large ‘thirsty towels’. The innkeepers are very knowledgeable and always available to answer questions. The full hot breakfasts are tasty with lots of fresh fruit, they have a cafe inside the Bed and Breakfast called El Gato Feo Café + Roastery with "Bullet Proof" coffee and other assorted specialty coffees all roasted on site from organic coffee from Nayarit Mexico. I highly recommend this small jewel in the heart of Ajijic!

I had a lovely stay at Estrellita’s. The staff were accommodating and kind. I loved having the ability to have my dog with me. The casita was spacious and clean. I loved having the tv at night to stream movies and relax. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice cross breeze from the windows. The kitchen was well appointed with appliances, cutlery, pots, pans, dishes and glassware. The patio was very comfortable with a few chaises, tables, and chairs. The location is perfect for discovering Ajijic; only a block from the Malecon as well as a short walk to the Plaza and the Wednesday Market. Shops and restaurants are close by and serve a variety of palates. Staff were happy to arrange a driver for guests if desired. A coffee shop is attached for fresh roasted coffee and snacks for guests and the public. High speed internet is available as well. A comfortable stay and a plan to return!

Un lugar muy bonito, muy tranquilo, ideal para descansar y una excelente atención.

Un lugar increíble, una hermosa vista y el café muy delicioso, una excelente opción para alejarte del ruido de la ciudad, la cama muy cómoda, no hay Netflix ni plataformas en la TV, todo lo demás 10/10.
