Michaux State Forest: aluguel por temporada de chalés

A casa da Erin é muito bonita, com uma vista verdadeiramente deslumbrante em um local paradisíaco. Meu cachorro e eu viemos para relaxar e caminhar, e foi o local perfeito para nós. As trilhas a uma curta distância a pé eram ideais! Erin foi uma ótima comunicadora e foi muito flexível e responsiva. Esperamos voltar!

Obrigado por tornar meu aniversário de 54 anos tão agradável e tranquilo. A casa é muito privada, mas ao mesmo tempo tem janela de vidro em todos os lugares para deixar a luz natural. Meu lugar favorito na casa era a varanda dos fundos. Era privado, mas a mobília era lindamente e confortável. Passei horas apenas sentado e mediando lá fora. A cozinha está bem equipada com tudo o que uma família precisaria para fazer uma refeição completa. A cabeça do chuveiro me fez sentir como se estivesse em um spa. As toalhas me enlouqueceram como se estivesse secando com nuvens. ( Eu tenho que descobrir onde eles compraram essas toalhas. ADOREI esta casa e meu grupo de mulheres também trouxe comigo. Havia muito espaço para todos. Eu definitivamente vou alugar esta casa novamente.

Nos divertimos muito durante nossa estadia, definitivamente planejamos voltar!

Meu namorado e eu queríamos fugir por alguns dias e era o lugar perfeito. A cidade é linda e todo mundo é tão amigável. Minha parte favorita foi a banheira de hidromassagem, é claro, especialmente com a vista. Michael foi um ótimo anfitrião, respondeu a todas as perguntas. Definitivamente voltaremos!

Esta localização é perfeita para um fim de semana longe de tudo. Sem serviço de celular e tão remoto! 😍 Fica em um vale, então é mais frio naturalmente. Tudo na casa estava como na foto. Infelizmente para nós, alguém usou a churrasqueira a gás errado (como carvão, estragando-a para nós). Lydia foi tão receptiva e estava se oferecendo para nos trazer um novo tanque de gasolina. Este é um ótimo casal e um lugar maravilhoso. Definitivamente vale a pena o seu tempo no silêncio!

Gostamos muito da nossa estadia na sua bela casa! Tivemos um clima quente e ensolarado, então nós realmente gostamos da quadra e da lareira e nossos filhos adultos adoraram a banheira de hidromassagem! A sala de jogos foi divertida! Fomos ao parque estadual de Cacapon logo abaixo da estrada e também fomos a Berkeley Springs e caminhamos pelo centro da cidade. Ótimas cafeterias e pequenas lojas! Comemos no Canery Grill. Ótima comida e uma área externa. Eric foi extremamente responsivo com um problema que tivemos e imediatamente respondeu e resolveu o problema! Definitivamente voltaria! Obrigado Eric por uma ótima estadia!

Um lugar muito acolhedor e tem muitas formas de entretenimento para adultos e crianças.

Esta foi nossa segunda estadia nesta casa e planejamos voltar. Os arredores e a propriedade são tranquilos e confortáveis. Há muito o que fazer com a sala de jogos, TVs e lareira. Várias melhorias foram feitas em nossa última visita, incluindo uma nova remodelação do banheiro no último andar e uma nova seção de sala de estar que era tão confortável após dias de caminhadas. A cozinha está bem equipada e cobertores e toalhas são abundantes. Este foi o local de refúgio perfeito para nosso grupo e cães.

We had a wonderful stay at Emily's cabin. The place exceeded our expectations. There are so many thoughtful touches that made the place feel extra cozy. The wifi is a little spotty but that wasn't an issue for us. It was so nice to enjoy coffee on the front porch in the mornings. Barely any cars drove by during our stay which made it feel extremely private. We definitely would love to return when it's warmer to enjoy the firepit and more time outside. Highly recommend!

This is our third time staying here. We love the peace and quiet, easy access in the mountains that doesn't require a 4x4 vehicle. We stock up on groceries from home or the local Food Lion in downtown Berkeley Springs, then make all of our meals. Our kids enjoy the sleeping loft upstairs and the main floor bedroom is quite comfortable, we all slept quite well on each respective bed. The view outside is great, the screened in porch is so nice to have, ensuring a bug-free, relaxing time out in the cool mountain air. The wood burning fireplace helps with the cozy factor when inside, and even though we go there to get away from all the fast movement in the city, it is also nice to have satellite TV just in case you are feeling up to watching a movie by the fire. We will definitely be going back again in the future.

Very comfortable, peaceful gem. Chris was very responsive and even reached out proactively about an additional AC unit given warmer temps to be sure we were comfortable. We used the grill, fire pit and totally enjoyed the trail. Having coffee on the deck each morning was idyllic!!

Had a great stay here! Cabin was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Nice location, very private. Lots of helpful communication from the host prior to our stay, so it was easy to find the cabin and check in. They have an emergency number in case of any issues outside business hours. It was just two of us this time but we would stay here again with friends or family!

This place was beautiful! We had a little welcome gift waiting for us! There was an “oppsie” basket in each bathroom in case you forgot something which was wonderful. The views in the backyard alone were gorgeous and the home is so close to the state park with even more beautiful views!

Cozy and very clean. The porch is so nice, and it’s very peaceful to stare out at the mountains in the distance and listen to the birds chirping. Fire ring area was very nice. Everything was nicely kept. We had a really good time, and had everything we needed.

My mom and I came to Berkeley springs to get away for the weekend and this cabin was just what we needed. We very much enjoyed the fireplace and the outdoors! My dogs also enjoyed the space to get away and explore all of the smells! Even when our car broke down Micheal had extended an offer to help us get back on the road and extended our check out time. We are grateful for you! The cabin was clean and spacious, yet very homey with all of the appliances and helpful cookware you could think of if you wanted to host a dinner! Thank you for such a beautiful stay!

If you are looking for a quiet, private and peaceful get away with all the amenities, this is it. The cabin is literally in the middle of nowhere, all alone on a mountainside, but has everything you need. The views feom the deck and hot tub are beautiful. Two pieces of advice - 1. Plan ahead and bring food, drinks, etc...that you will need, because stores of any kind are quite a drive. 2. Slow and steady is the best way up the driveway, which is gravel and slightly steep in areas. We loved our weekend away from the world at the Red Cabin and would definitely return or recomend to friends.

This is an absolutely amazing find! Super responsive host, extremely flexible with my check-ins and outs. The house was beautiful and clean, the fire pit was an amazing touch. The deck is perfect and so is the hot tub. The bed was extremely comfortable, check out was easy and he didn’t ask for much at all. I can’t get over how much I fell in love with this house.

The drive up into The Woods was beautiful(4x4 recommended 😄)& once we got into the community, we felt safe. When we walked into Cedar Loft we were welcomed by fresh baked cookies, snacks,& a sweet, hand written card.The cabin smelled like a cabin in the woods & was so cozy & warm. There was low music playing on the TV too which just all in all felt so warm & welcoming. I was with my mother, daughter, & niece-the girls slept in the loft which they absolutely loved. Everyone wanted to stay longer. Our purpose was to get away, relax& be in nature. That was definitely accomplished staying here. There were many throwback CD movies that brought me back to my childhood. We laughed& cried &really enjoyed that nostalgic touch. Everything was clean& comfortable, we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, being out by the fire pit& swimming at the pool. The cabin was stocked with everything you might need. Thank you for such a memorable stay. The journal was so special. There were tears on the way out.

I’m not one who typically leaves a review but Olivia definitely deserves a review. It was for my son’s 18th birthday and when I tell you, everything was so flawless. She was nice enough to help me decorate one of the cabins with happy birthday balloons, and a banner! this gesture really shows me that she goes over and beyond for her customers. I truly appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for making our stay fantastic!

Your place was very cozy and peaceful! We played scrabble every night! You have a nice fire pit, and we were able to enjoy a fire each night! The place was clean and exactly what the pictures showed. Thank you for being an awesome host! Josh and Regan Schriver
