Meia Praia: aluguel por temporada com terraço

During a 2 1/2 week swing through Portugal, we used this space as a base to explore several Algarve beaches. The stay matched our expectation and we were particularly pleased with the nice touches of: a heater on the unusually cold March nights; two really functional cutting boards; a funky but functional coffee maker; and the graceful and friendly host and hostess. Guests should be aware that there is not parking right at the space, and the old winding cobblestone streets made the apartment initially difficult to find, but for us these only added to the charm of the place. Excellent local restaurant, the Den, serves really great pizza and salads!

Magnifique expérience, c’est un 6 étoiles! De la réservation au départ, tout a été plus que parfait. Les instructions sont claires, la communication ultra rapide. L’appartement est luxueux. L’attention est dans tous les détails, rien n’est laissé au hasard, vous vous sentirez comme à la maison. Superbe vue et terrasse. Accueil personnalisé avec bouteille de vin, stationnement facile en avril. Coup de cœur pour Quarteira. L’emplacement est idéal, les marchés locaux poissons/fruits/légumes sont à 5 minutes à pieds. Sécuritaire, c’est le paradis pour les marcheurs et les coureurs. Regina est disponible, serviable et très sympathique. Vous n’aurez aucun regret seulement l’envie de revenir. Merci pour tout!

I cannot recommend this apartment enough, we would definitely stay here again! It's a gorgeous high-end unit with lots of natural light and several patios, very spacious and tastefully decorated. The hosts were wonderful and sent very clear check-in instructions ahead of time along with some good recommendations for local restaurants. They responded to messages very promptly and showed up right away to fix a lightbulb that had burned out during our stay. The area is very walkable, only about a 5-10 minute walk to the main bus station and Lagos Old Town with some good restaurants and cafes close by. Highly recommend this spot to anyone staying in Lagos!

J’ai adoré le séjour, l’appartement est parfait, il y a toutes les commodités nécessaires. Les installations de l’immeuble (pizcines, hammam, sauna, etc..) sont un grand +. David est très gentil et toujours disponible en cas de besoin. Je recommande fortement !! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Nuno and Danielas apartment was perfect for me and my partner. The apartment has plenty of space for two, a lovely big bed, nice views, walkable to bars and resteruants. They gave us great tips on how to find the place well and we're flexible on check in. They made all aspects of the stay incredibly easy to manage and were very responsive to a request. I would be staying here again if I come back to the area 100%.

Wat een heerlijke plek! Een mooi ingericht appartement, fijne vibe en hoe fijn is het als je de openslaande deuren opdoet, je de zee ziet en hoort. Volop genieten. Dankjewel dat we in jouw appartement mochten verblijven.

Un sans faute ! Logement confortable, bien équipé et propre. Endroit idéal pour une famille, les enfants ont adoré les extérieurs.

a lovely place to stay, Luis is extremely helpful. The swimming pool is a bonus as the house is only a short walk from the beach. The house is very clean and has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Luis speaks English and is a first class host, will definitely book again .

Tres agréable séjour. La maison est très bien située et l’environnement (jardin et piscine) très bien entretenu. La plage est très proche à pied. Un vrai bonheur !

Superschöne, großzügige Unterkunft - ein ganzes Haus mit eigenem Garten. Sehr gut ausgestattet und geschmackvoll möbliert. Hier können gut zwei kleine Familien gemeinsam Urlaub machen (4 Schlafzimmer mit jeweils Doppelbetten, 3 Badezimmer, Ess-/Wohnraum und ein Wohnzimmer mit Kamin). Ein schöner Garten sowie die Dachterrasse bieten zusätzlichen Platz. Dort gibt es ausreichend Gartenmöbel. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und eher ländlich - ein Auto ist dafür wohl ein Muss. Bis zum Strand sind es ca. 15 min zu Fuß. Dort findet man eine kleine Bucht mit feinem Sand, es herrscht insgesamt eher wenig Betrieb ist (außer bei gutem Wellengang, dann trifft man einige Surfer). Achtung, es gibt keinen Schatten! Eine kleine Bar ist auch dort. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, es gibt tolle Wanderwege. Die Kommunikation mit Jonathan war allzeit unkompliziert, immer freundlich und sehr hilfreich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - die Unterkunft ist unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten zu sechst 10 sehr schöne Tage in Maikes Wohnung. Der Check in war super flexibel und einfach. Alles top sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Maike hatte sehr gute Tips für uns und die Gegend ist sehr schön. Der Strand ist Fuss läufig erreichbar und man ist nah am Meer. Obwohl wir sehr früh im Jahr da waren (Anfang April) war der Pool schon angenehm und auch das Wetter ist schon super. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!!

War wie ein zweites Zuhause. Wären gerne geblieben.

You get the whole house to yourself, it's super clean and has everything you need for your stay, the location is fantastic, no more than 5-10 minutes walk to any restaurant or shop, super close to the beach and activities. Vitor is super helpful and responds very quickly. If I am ever in Lagos again I'd stay here again!

We had an incredible stay at Casa Irene—it felt like a home away from home. The house was the perfect retreat to relax and recharge in a peaceful town, while still being close enough to Lagos town center to easily enjoy its vibrant dining options. The beach was also just a short trip away, which is lined with several dining options too (Bar Quim being a new favourite of mine for their prawns, recommended by Jenna). Casa Irene's attention to detail made all the difference. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and Jenna thoughtfully provided extras (like Tupperware, cooler boxes, filtered water, ice packs, and more—perfect for beach days). Every element, from the decor to the thoughtful amenities, was spot on. Highly recommend Casa Irene to anyone looking for a blend of tranquility, convenience, and comfort. Can't wait to return!

Wonderful stay at Domitilia's place, excellent location and well equipped flat. Very responsive and friendly host. We loved our time in Carrapateira and hope to be back.

Rita was friendly, helpful and very responsive to any questions. was especially thankful that Rita happily spent 25minutes on the phone to fix the AC remote (prior guest unpaired) and didn't leave until it was resolved -very appreciative of that. lovely stay and great hosts, wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Lovely 2 bed apartment in the old town. Spotlessly clean and fantastic communication to facilitate a last minute booking. Ana, who manages the complex, and her husband, were super responsive to any of our questions or needs. As others have highlighted, the large terrace which is not overlooked by anyone is pretty special and the flat is very homely and stylish. Just to note that the shower issues mentioned in previous reviews were not an issue anymore - the shower worked very well with no issues!

The hosting company were second to none, with quick helpful replies to all messages, welcoming us on arrival at the lovely apartment, for our four week stay. The penthouse fitted the bill perfectly, as did the hosts, Ricardo & Elisabete. Thank you both, Peter & Anne-Marie.

Jorge’s place was really a home away from home especially with our three little girls (5, 4, 1.5 years old). Our girls loved the two bunkbeds. It was spacious, super clean & the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’d need to cook meals but also walkable to many beaches and restaurants; however one of our favourites was the restaurant just below the building! We loved the beach behind the building as well which was only a few minutes walk. We didn’t end up using the pools in the facility but everything looked great! Jorge himself was very responsive, professional and definitely a superhost helping us check-in as we booked this Airbnb very last minutes and got there later in the evening. The shampoo and conditioner in the showers were nicer than the ones I have at home. I highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again when we come back to Portugal in the future. Irina war super nett und jederzeit schnell erreichbar, wenn man Fragen hatte. Die Unterkunft sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern, und ich habe mich sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. In der Umgebung ist alles bequem zu Fuß erreichbar: Supermarkt, Restaurants und der Strand. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt in Irinas Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!☺️

Jeff’s place is great. It’s been recently renovated to a high standard with great fixtures and fittings and done in a nice style. The garden is really nice but the weather wasn’t warm enough to utilise it on our stay unfortunately. The kitchen is well equipped and it’s in a great location, only 5 minutes walk down to the marina. The immediate vicinity seems a bit run down but don’t let that put you off. Self check in is always great as it makes check in and out flexible.

Wunderbare Wohnung in einer ruhigen, aber sehr zentralen Lage. Sehr schick, super sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. In der Küche waren sogar Gewürze, Olivenöl und Balsamico vorhanden und es gab Wasser, Wein und Gebäck zur Begrüßung. In wenigen Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Altstadt. Sonnige Terrasse (Von Sonnenaufgang bis ca. 15 Uhr Sonne) mit Meerblick. Einfach die perfekte Wohnung für Lagos. Danke.
