We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Studio

Enjoy the opportunity to stay in one of Derwent Valleys Grand Designs. This spacious studio space expanded over the bottom floor of the house, offers a queen size double bed, ensuite, full kitchen, dining table and living area. National Park is located in the upper Derwent Valley. The accomodation is 5min drive to Mt Field National Park. Maydena bike park just a 15min drive up the road. There is an abundance of beautiful walks with a selection of river valleys, waterfalls and giant trees.

Laneway hideaway

Our architect designed, garden roof cabin was built in 2020 to take in views across they valley to knocklofty. North facing the sun warms this house with the passive solar design maintaining a steady temperature. To complement this there is a wood fire for grey days and a sliding door and bifold windows for hot ones. Ply lining and exposed rafters give the house a cabin feel creating a retreat feeling. Different outdoor spaces provide great options to soak in the sun and neighbourhood.

Huntingdon Tier Forest Retreat – atop a mountain in Tasmania's Southern Midlands. This luxurious, private & unimposing eco retreat is a place to escape, relax & reconnect. Soak in the woodfired hot tub & lounge by a warm fire or from your comfy bed, gaze through the treetops to the mountains beyond & observe local wildlife. Take a wander & enjoy a natural meditation cave just 30 metres below. Single night stays are welcomed, however guests often say they wish they had've stayed longer!

Elevated and private, this luxurious architecturally designed home in Hobart's North has all that you need to enjoy a memorable stay in Tasmania. Perched atop a hill overlooking the Derwent River, the house features a large deck & outdoor wood fire pit, as well as a bath deck. Please note; 29 Ebden's bedrooms are double (queen) share. E.g., if you would like four bedrooms prepared for your stay please book for eight guests.

Post House Cottage - 10 Minutes to Mount Field

Accommodation located within 10 minutes drive to the spectacular MOUNT FIELD NATIONAL PARK. Cottage was built in the early 1900's in the picturesque Derwent Valley. The cottage is set on 13 acres and is private with your own fully fenced yard. We give you your privacy but if you need us, we are close by to assist. The cottage makes a welcoming break between Hobart and Strahan. Cottage caters to children over 12 years of age only.

Relaxing Retreat to Recharge the Batteries

Relaxing self contained bed sitter nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac 5 mins drive from MONA and 15 mins to Hobart CBD. A short hop to the Derwent River Esplanade Walk (GASP) picnic areas, Yacht Club, shops, Derwent Entertainment Centre (Mystate Arena), River and Mountain views to be enjoyed while on your quiet riverside stroll. Hobart CBD , Salamanca Markets, restaurants and entertainment areas are all within a 15 min drive.

Florentine Cottage

Florentine Cottage is nestled in the heart of the small village of Maydena. A 1.5 hour drive from Hobart. The cottage is located less than 200m from the Maydena Bike Park base and 15min from Mount Field National Park. The cottage is cosy & comfortable fitted out with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. If you share a love for the outdoors, hiking and mountain biking then Florentine Cottage is the place for you!

Raspberry Cottage

Part of the Sassafras Springs Estate in Ellendale - Raspberry Cottage is named for the raspberry pickers who worked on the farm when it grew fields of raspberries. Cosy and rustic and beloved of honeymooners (spa bath) as well as families. Guests love the organic vegetable garden, the peace and quiet and the great rainforest walk.
