Beautiful high-rise cabin, with wrap around porch, overlooking the Amite River! Perfect for a romantic getaway, family fishing trip or gathering friends for some fun on the river. This place offers it all! Large yard for tent camping and outdoor games. Private beach, excellent for swimming. Boat lauch access available to guests. Huge, private, entertainment area downstairs with BBQ pit/grill and smoker, seating, and fire pit. Private fishing pond with motorless boat and fish cleaning station!

Cozy 2 BR cottage on serene Bayou Manchac. This waterfront cabin has a large gazebo with picnic table. Boardwalk provides easy access to dock and fishing. Enjoy breathtaking views from the screened porch while you work or play. Lots of extras: WiFi, smart TV, hammock, swing, charcoal grill and fire pit. Plenty of local restaurants, grocery, etc. LSU's Tiger stadium only 34 minutes away! New Orleans 1 hour away. Raised entrance accessible only by stairs. Names of adult guests required.

The Gator Getaway

The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Also nearby is the public boat launch, Sun Buns river bar boat taxi, and other local favorite spots! Located about 40 miles outside of New Orleans.

Studio apartment with convertible twin futon. 3-4 people sleep comfortably. Owner close and happy to leave you alone or help you with various things to make your stay fantastic! Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.

The Blue Heron Guest House-6 acres on the bayou.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!

Fire Fly: Our New Adorable Upscale Tiny Home

This tiny home has trees surrounding the property and sits off the road. Yet it is only 4 miles from I-12 interstate. It is located close to the town of Livingston where you will find groceries, hardware, restaurants, fuel, etc. Outdoor gazebo and fire pit in common area. It is centrally located between Hammond and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. An easy drive to everywhere you want to be! Plus, it’s fully loaded with everything you will need.

Our Little Diversion

Located on Three Rivers Island in SE Louisiana. Leave all your worries behind and enjoy the relaxing experience at Our Little Diversion. Once you park your vehicle in the Three Rivers Island parking lot, you'll hop in our 4-seater black golf cart and start your adventure. We have fishing poles, a boat lift should you choose to bring your own boat, swings and outdoor seating, and all the creature comforts you need to enjoy your stay.

Our Happy Place!

This home is a quaint, waterfront oasis, with space to enjoy friends and family inside or outside. It is just minutes by foot, car and/or boat to restaurants, bars and many water events. With prior notification to host you may have full access to onsite boat slip. Depending on size of boats slip can host up to 2 boats at one time. Come and see why this is OUR happy place, and it could quickly become your happy place.
