The place is located in a quiet, peaceful area. Contact with the host is really fast. When something broke, the problem was solved very quickly. The interior looks exactly like in the pictures. The air conditioning worked perfectly. We were there for about 3 months and we are very pleased.

We hebben drie maanden in dit prachtige huis doorgebracht, en het was een van de meest bijzondere ervaringen van ons leven. Het huis is niet alleen schoon, maar ook luxueus en van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles was perfect onderhouden en we voelden ons meteen thuis. Wat het echt uitzonderlijk maakte, was onze gastvrouw, Priscilla. Ze is een van de meest zorgzame mensen die we ooit hebben ontmoet en werd voor ons een echte "Oegandese mama". Haar vriendelijkheid en steun maakten ons verblijf onvergetelijk. Priscilla nam ons mee naar prachtige plekken in Oeganda en introduceerde ons aan geweldige mensen. Dankzij haar kregen we een dieper begrip van de cultuur en schoonheid van het land. Haar warme persoonlijkheid maakte ons verblijf extra speciaal. We voelden ons altijd welkom en ze zorgde ervoor dat we ons nergens zorgen over hoefden te maken. Het voelde echt alsof we deel uitmaakten van haar familie. Als je een authentieke ervaring in Oeganda zoekt, is dit de perfecte plek. Weebale nyo!

Angella & Renske were amazing hosts with this special place that is so welcoming! + We loved the small welcoming basket full of small essentials for our arrival night. + We loved the comforts of the big fluffy towels, the beautiful private backyard with the comfy outside lounging, the soft beds, and the nicely furnished sitting room. Every place has their “quirks”, so here’s some things to know while booking - Like they share, the washrooms are a bit dated so they don’t appear clean but they are! And really they fit the job for what they’re made for 😂 - The TV isn’t a smart TV so you won’t be able to login to Netflix, Hulu, etc…. But just go outside instead! - The private parking is shared with two other connecting homes in the compound & is REALLY steep! And small. But still secure so that’s a bonus.

J'ai passé 2 mois chez Wycliffe avec mes 2 bergers allemand. Ce n'est pas simple et Wycliff a été très compréhensif et a tout fait pour limiter le stress. La maison était géniale et la cour était juste parfaite pour faire du sport et permettre aux chiens de courir. Je recommande fortement.

We loved staying at Hibiscus House and were very sad to leave. We felt right at home and Joseph was friendly and helpful. The house had everything we needed, was very clean and everything worked properly. Joseph was always around when we needed but never obtrusive or in the way and it was lovely to see his friendly face in the morning or end of a long day in Kampala. The garden and outside spaces created are beautiful and peaceful, a little haven amongst the city chaos. Joseph was quick to resolve any issues we had or teach us how to use something like the stove and geysers etc. The house is as advertised with the right rooms and bathrooms etc. Everything was great and we would definitely stay here again and hope the opportunity does arise one day.

Very beautiful place with lovely help around the home! It was safe, and in a nice village with lots to do and see around it. Would hardly recommend it :)

This wonderful Airbnb is in a serene neighbourhood of Kampala, perfect for escaping city life. The charming exterior, and well-maintained garden, add to the peaceful ambience. The delightful patio, surrounded by lush greenery, was perfect for relaxing with my Kindle and coffee. Inside, the home is beautifully decorated, featuring a cosy living room with comfortable seating and tasteful decor. The modern kitchen is fully equipped (though I only used the fridge). The spacious bedroom has an incredibly comfortable bed, ensuring restful sleep. The clean, stylish bathroom has all the necessary amenities. A highlight was the fast, reliable WiFi, ideal for work and streaming Disney+. The attention to detail throughout, from thoughtful decor to high-quality linens, was impressive. The host's prompt communication made check-in and check-out seamless. Overall, my stay was fantastic with no negatives. This property is perfect for a peaceful, comfortable retreat. Highly recommended!

Honestly speaking, there's not enough words to describe how privileged i was to stay at Sophie's world! The apartment was exactly as described - clean, cozy, spacious and very private. The Apartment is located in a gated community with very professional 24-hr security guards overseeing access and egress for visitors. The neighborhood is very peaceful which attracts people from different walks of life. Sophie was such a fantastic host, communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The little touches, such as extra bed linen, pillows and towels, made my stay feel truly special. I appreciated the thoughtful recommendations for local restaurants, grocery stores and attractions, which helped me make the most of my time in Kampala. For anyone out there looking for a comfortable stay, value for money and a welcoming host, I recommend Sophie's world with the highest regard. Thank you, Sophie, for making my stay in Uganda memorable. I will surely be back!

My family and throughly enjoyed our stay at Carolyn and Junior’s house! The house was so spacious and comfortable for my family and I. And we absolutely fell in love with Mr. Steven, Mr. Dickson, Ms. Barbara, and Ms. Judith! They are wonderful and very helpful and attentive. The host were very welcoming and helpful, we had a little hiccup and they were there to make sure matters were solved and in a timely manner. We were sad to have to leave as this place really started feeling like home. I definitely recommend this house 100%

Great apartment near centar of town, with everything you can possibly imagine for comfortable stay. Swimming pool amd gym are available all the time so you can relax and workout as much as you want. Safe place with private guard. Nearby places that work 0-24h so you csn always get food and drinks in few minutes walk. Will come back next time for sure

We enjoyed our stay at Tranquility Homes. the house is beautiful and spacious, very nice furniture and clean. The house has 2 levels, lower level has living area, dining space, kitchen, storage room and a guest toilet, upstairs are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The house can be accessed through Muyenga side through the church grounds (if gates are open) or through Mbogo (Kibuli) Road, whereby the aceess road s in a poor state - but its not a long distance. The host is very friendly, helpful and easily reachable. We asked for mosquito nets and he had them installed before our arrival! Thank you for hosting us and we will return again :)

Great place! Highly recommended. My family and I enjoyed our 9 days at Ronald's place. We love the unit German style, very cozy, fast internet, beautiful view of the Seguku mountains. Seft contain, and we could buy food and cook our favorite meal. Thanks Ronald, we will definitely visit again.

My stay at Aisha’s place in Bukoto was truly beyond my expectations! From the moment I arrived, Aisha’s hospitality and attention to detail made me feel at home. The space was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The thoughtful touches were exceptional. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, perfect for work and streaming. The cleaning service twice a week kept everything spotless. The kitchen was stocked with complimentary coffee, tea, and condiments, which added a nice touch. The TV came with streaming services like Netflix, and the workspace with a desk was ideal for remote work. Aisha also checked in to make sure everything was perfect. The location in Bukoto was convenient and peaceful, with easy access to restaurants, shopping malls, entertainment, and the city center. I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs, but Aisha’s stands out as one of the best. If you’re visiting Kampala, this is the place to book. I’ll definitely return. Thank you Aisha!

I felt to take a moment to leave a review because my stay was truly wonderful from the very beginning to the very end. The host was extremely accommodating, making herself available for check-in even at 1 AM, which I greatly appreciated, and I found the apartment to be very easy to locate. I absolutely loved the space and was happy to discover that everything I needed, from hair cut, drinks and to shops, was just a short and walk away. Without a doubt, I will definitely be returning to stay here again in the near future.
