The location is down single lanes and we were busy reserving some of the time, but Pete’s directions were great and very clear. Hazel was very helpful on site when we tripped the electric. The site was clean and quiet, other campers were polite and friendly. The amenities were clean and functional, if a little dated. We struggled for phone signal which was prefect for switching off. Thank you Pete, have recommended your place to friends already.

A beautiful place to stay that was very comfortable for our stay (2 adults, 2 children and a dog). Located a short drive from Barmouth town and beach, it is ideally located out of the way and within a very peaceful setting. The private garden is very well maintained and looks out to sea that shows beautiful sunsets. The shepherds hut was spacious enough for our stay and had everything that we needed. Thank you Hayley and Gareth. We had a lovely weekend.

We just wanted to rest and relax away with the dog, and this place was perfect. Was quiet, easy to find but tucked away (close enough to the town and amenities). The hot tub was toasty and I feel so calm and relaxed (even though the weather sucked). Great find and highly recommend. Great little get away! 10/10 recommend and would 100% go back.

Our weekend break didn’t go to plan but the short time I did get to spend at the hut was so peaceful, it was clean, the hot tub was great all in all was a lovely place to stay, I do hope to book again in the near future and get to experience it thoroughly in all its glory.

We had a wonderful stay at this glamping site nestled between Llandudno and Betws-y-Coed—such a peaceful and scenic spot, perfect for a relaxing break in North Wales. Rachel, the host, was incredibly kind and accommodating, especially as we arrived later than expected after a long journey. She kindly allowed us to check in late, and to our delight, the wood-fired hot tub at our Shepherd’s Hut was already heated and ready for us—just what we needed to unwind. The Shepherd’s Hut itself was lovely—cozy, clean, and full of charm, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surrounding countryside was beautiful, and we loved waking up to the views and birdsong. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with thoughtful touches and a warm welcome. Thank you, Rachel—we’ll definitely be back!

I really loved this place!!!! It was the best place on our road trip. I could/would have liked to stay muuuuch longer!!! Hellie and John are just the cutest, I would have loved to get to know them better and to discover the area around more. I would love to come back!!

The best Easter Weekend spent at the hut! Had everything we needed and more. Lots of little attention to detail and extras. It was 4 days we’ll never forget. Cerys was so helpful and lovely! Myself, my husband and our 8 year old had the best time and can’t recommend enough. Big thank you to Cerys’s gorgeous twin girls that were the best tour guides and friend to our daughter. We really didn’t want to go home. We’ll be back 🩷 xx

The perfect retreat for both of us and our pup. Beautiful scenery & lovely host. We loved using the wood burning stove to cook our meals & our english breaky tastes sooo much better!

booked a short stay at this lovely little shepherd's hut, it was nice and peaceful and a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life aswell as a nice turn off from tv and Internet would highly recommend and its close to lots of different places in Anglesey

Very happy with our stay at Phil & Paula. The place was clean and tidy with everything you need from kitchen utensils to umbrella, radio and torch light. The host is very approachable when need it. It is clearly that the host cares about their customers and property.

Apart from the WiFi not working, everything was pristine. The breakfast served in the hotel was amazing. Both Louise and Henry were awesome hosts

Had a wonderful long weekend at the hut horsebox. Maureen and Mike were welcoming and helpful, adding personal touches like homemade bread, jam, and eggs. The peaceful place with a beautiful garden (I had to take photos to take back home with me of the lovely plants for ideas ☺️)and unique concept of the horsebox and sauna truly enhanced our stay. It was ideally located for our Snowdon trek and close to tourist attractions. I enjoyed our conversations with Maureen and Mike and hope to return for another stay. Keep up the good work Negat

What can we say about this place. A hidden gem that excels in every way from the hosts, to the location, the hut itself, the hot tub, the ponies and goats, the view, the tranquility, the onsight chapel … we could go on and on. There is nothing we didn’t like about this place and never been so sad to leave somewhere. Rebecca and Dave were amazing hosts. We had so much privacy and tranquillity. We walked to the Ty Coch inn and it was stunning in every way. We will definitely be returning at some point. Thank you so much 💕💕

Where to begin! A heavenly stay from start to finish. Stunning location, beautiful hut - clearly designed and built with love and attention to every detail. Mark and Jonathan could not have been more kind and welcoming. Sitting and watching the sunset from Elen has to go down as one of my happiest, most memorable moments. Loved the firepit and cosy wood burner. Didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back - absolutely perfect in every way. Thank you Mark and Jonathan for being so lovely. See you soon x

Lovely room in a great location—just a 5-minute walk from shops, restaurants, and bars. Great spot to explore other areas of wales easily. Parking is available nearby for just £4 per day. The bathroom is separate from the room and can only be accessed from outside, but for the price, i couldn’t complain. The bed is a bit on the springy side, but overall, a pleasant and affordable stay. Thank you Ruby!

Fantastic shepherds hut for both location and size for the amount paid! The purpose of my visit was to climb the mountains and being less than a 25 minute drive to both pen y pass car park for Snowdon itself and Ogwen car park for the Tryfan and glyder range, it is perfectly located. Bangor is a 5 minute drive and full of plenty of the usual supermarkets and options for food. The hut has plenty of space to get around in without falling over your things. I’ve stayed in a few shepherd huts now and some are too cramped to move! Ian was present on arrival and a great host. I’ll be sure to keep my eye on this one to come back to. P.s. the cake is great!

Breathtaking location, the cabin is so special, secluded and quiet. We had the most wonderful time and saw so many birds (yay!) in the area. (Ospreys, kingfisher, grasshopper warblers, jays etc.) The cabin is very close drive to the mountains, beaches, shops and restaurants. The hosts were so lovely and kind, and the cabin was spotless clean and had everything needed. Lovely and warm too. The toilets and showers were so nice and we really appreciate the eco aspect of the farm. Diolch!!

It was an absolutely fantastic three night stay in the Shepherds Hut. Abbey and her family were so welcoming and friendly. Lots of amazing animals on the property and beautiful scenery. Abbey was very helpful in recommendations and to respond to any queries. The lodge itself had everything that we needed and was very toasty after putting the fire on of an evening. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The pods themselves are immaculate with everything you need for a comfortable and cosy stay and overlook the sheep making for a lovely morning cuppa. The location itself is stunning. Plenty to do on the isle of Anglesey; beaches, hikes, restaurants, cafes you name it. Katherine and Elfed make you feel welcome and right at home providing in depth knowledge of the area with great suggestions for things to do and see and even made us fresh Welsh cakes (Delicious!). If you're considering climbing Mt Snowdon then this is a perfect base. It is a 20 minute drive to the Llanberis path - just remember to book parking in advance. Overall we loved our stay here and would definitely come back!

We had a glorious stay in the Shepherds Hut! Totally off the beaten track and surrounded by calving cows and idyllic lambs - my small children were mesmerised! There is everything you could need for a short break, the tea / coffee and toiletries are a great touch. Definitely more space than you think. The bottom bed / Harry Potter cupboard den kept the kids entertained for ages and is brilliant with the cubby hole and charging points. It’s actually brilliant for small children who would usually need a cot side and need darkness to sleep! We would love to come back :)
