The Stables is in a beautiful peaceful part of Suffolk, on the River Deben, with footpaths, wild swimming, pubs within walking distance, birdwatching, views for artists, and fabulous lanes for cycling. Perfect for paddle boarders and kayaks too. The Stables have been converted into a cosy country cottage with contemporary furnishings, fitted kitchen, bedroom with super king bed, en suite bathroom, shower room, wood burner, 2 TVs and wifi, books and games, and tennis court (by arrangement).

This former Edwardian grammar school was converted in 2021 and retains many of its original features including large mullioned windows flooding the property with natural light and superb vaulted ceilings creating a bright and airy space.

The only noise is the sound of birdsong.
