This was the perfect little getaway for the night for my daughter and I. It was so cozy and quiet and we had a blast playing all the available games. We both felt asleep watching movies on the giant couch it was so comfortable. Our hosts were very responsive and greeted us when we arrived and assured to reach out if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

Great location, comfortable beds, easy access getting into apartment. We will stay again!

Kore’s place was exactly like the pics! We were right on Mass street in downtown Lawerence which made everything very accessible! Only thing I can say is that there are 25 stairs to get into the apartment (yes I counted) and if you have bad knees or accessibility needs this may not be the place for you. Other than that would recommend this place 100x’s over! Thank you!

My friend and I traveled to Kansas with 4 dogs for a dog competition and stayed at this lovely AirBnB. It was absolutely perfect! Staci was super responsive to messages, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed, and the neighborhood was very quiet. After each day of competing with our dogs it was nice to come “home” to a cozy place to rest, relax, and recoup for the next day.

Great little place, we were able to park are car in a parking garage down town and didn’t use it once. 10 min walk to T-Mobile center and with 15-20 mins of anything you’d want to do or eat at. If I ever have the opportunity to go to an event down there again will book again.

Home was clean and as described in the description. Easy check in process and Erin was very responsive with any questions!

Huge, clean, new, neat and well-appointed place. Very comfortable, walkable, and close to everything. Two excellent restaurants just across the street. Friendly, responsive host. We’ll definitely return on our next stop in Lawrence!

Great spot for quick weekend in Lawrence for KU game. 15 min walk to campus, a bit longer to Mass St so we did short Uber instead. Not fancy, but clean and convenient. Beds and pillows comfortable but very firm FYI.

Pay attention to the parking situation. They’ve been very clear about it in several places but keep in mind it isnt handicap accessible and tricky with lots of luggage. The location and value are incredible! We walked to dinner and walked to English landing playground and loved it. The hosts are responsive and kind, they accommodated several things I asked for and were very understanding and lovely. Id stay here again, especially if for a short trip. It’s beautiful. And the nature preserve across the street was awesome too. Really cool place to stay

We only stayed one night but it was so comfy and cozy!! Loved the little coffee shop down the road and I would definitely book again!

Avalon House in a nutshell was perfect! The furniture was comfortable and the beds were amazing. I woke up pain free every day of my stay. I haven’t done that in months maybe even years! The kitchen is beautiful, you can tell there was a lot of TLC in this home with the design elements. Plenty of room for my family and my dog. The location is very ideal. Close to 3 major roads yet in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I will absolutely be back and if you are traveling to Topeka, you really need to look up Jack’s properties. You will be glad you did!

Penny's Place has to be one of Topeka's finest Airbnb locations! This was the perfect home away from home for a long-term stay. The house has a convenient office nook, with a spacious desk and large monitor, perfect for remote work. The bathrooms were large and clean, and the beds were soo luxurious (I took a picture of the mattress brand--they were that good!). The kitchen was spacious and stocked with every pan and utensil needed for home cooking. I appreciated how bright and sunny the house was; such an uplifting space to spend time in. The neighborhood is quiet and out of the way, so there is lots of privacy, and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. The house is conveniently located near Dillons and the highway, so while the house is a bit off the beaten path, we were never too far away from any one thing. Connor is a super responsive host, too, checking in when the power went out during a storm and later to make sure the house had enough supplies. We would 100% book again!

Very well done place! Very comfortable, cozy, nice ambiance, great place to stay. The neighborhood looks a little like it is in the process of being refreshed with some nice areas and other rougher looking places, but it seems safe and it was quiet. The beds were very comfortable and there was a lot of care put into the renovation of this place. Alexa was great and played whatever type of music you wanted to hear. Overall, I really liked staying here.

We had an excellent stay. The location had several shops and restaurants within walking distance, check in was easy, the area felt secure. The living space was clean and stylish. Very comfortable and modernized. Our host was responsive and willing to work with us, and the price was fair. Would love to stay again if able. Also i recommend visiting Bailey's Irish Pub nearby.

This unique accommodation is as fun and funky as the photos, so you'll enjoy exploring it, as we did! The kitchen (well stocked) is really the only updated space, and the rest of the house is on the shopworn side, but the decor definitely makes up for it, and there's so much room to spread out. The beds are in fine shape, which is something that matters a lot to us. You may want to know that the second bathroom with the shower is not en suite, which was a little bit of a surprise. It's at the opposite end of the house (past the kitchen) from the three main-floor bedrooms. But the location actually made it easier for our party -- two couples -- to share the shower since the other bath has only a tub. The location can't be beat. It's such a beautiful and walkable neighborhood! I also should add that both the property manager and owner are extremely responsive. We discovered the home's hairdryer had gone missing, and we were most grateful that they acted quickly to replace it.

Melanie is a great host. Easy to communicate and always ready to help. She is awesome! The place is great for short and long term stays. It comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location is good, easy access to main roads. Stores, markets and restaurants are near by. Neighborhood is safe, no concerns or issues. Assigned parking spot, washer/dryer, 2 floor unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and a patio to chill makes this place great. I enjoyed staying here and recommend to anyone looking for a place in KC.

Ashley was a great host—very responsive with clear instructions for check-in and parking. The place was clean, quiet, and stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks. Great location, close to restaurants, bars, music venues, and coffee shops. The building felt safe and the neighbors were friendly. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Lawrence, KS!

We loved are stay here. Very quiet, new, clean and an air conditioner that worked well. It was so fun to walk to shops, restaurants and entertainment. Parking was 10 cents per hour….cheap! We will stay here again!

Stayed here for my Advanced Trauma Life Support class and excellent walking distance from Stormont Vail hospital. Host was awesome! Cleaning lady was excellent and very helpful! Absolutely would stay here again!

This is great place to stay for KU parents!! Campus is super close and everything is within a 5 minute drive or a short walk. Would definitely stay again!

I was in town for a conference near campus and this was the perfect place to stay. The apartment was beautifully furnished. Very tasteful decor. Extremely comfortable. Victoria was an outstanding host. Friendly, responsive, and her directions were clear and easy to follow. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Cute and cozy!!! This condo has amazing views of nature from the living room. This space was the perfect size and had everything I needed. Very welcoming of Kip, my Yorkie! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Lawrence for fun or business. I was able to get some work done on my computer at the well lit dining room table. Space is quiet and I appreciated the private and covered parking space since it was a rainy day.
