We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. Our accommodations were immaculate! And the host was so nice and interesting to visit with. The breakfast they made for us was delicious with a lot of variety. Everything was a great blessing. Thank you!

Glenda and Charlie’s place was in a perfect location and they were so friendly. Loved getting to chat with Glenda. She is absolutely lovely and so welcoming!

What wonderful, kind, and welcoming hosts! We felt like we'd gone to stay with a long-lost and happily-found aunt and uncle. Meals were delicious, with many ingredients straight from their lovely homestead-style farm. My partner and I kept turning to each other throughout our visit and saying, "How did we find this place?" We would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone passing through.

We stayed at Red Lion for a wedding in the area. So much nicer (and quieter) than a standard hotel stay. George was an excellent host. Thanks, George!

Glenda was extremely nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. It is in an old historic family farm house that is quite unique. The working farm is interesting to tour. There are many local shops and restaurants in the area. It was convenient to visit the Sight and Sound Theater. If I had to pick one negative it would be the stairs. They are steep and would not be comfortable for everyone to climb. Otherwise it is a great place.

Very well kept older farmhouse with updates and wonderful inviting updates. We spent the night and felt right at home, had a great breakfast with other guests, and was able to see the farm on a short walk. Exactly as described, thanks to the great hosts!

The two rooms were perfect for my two teenagers and me. They loved the bunk beds and I loved the exquisitely carved headboard in my room. Their deck was a glorious outdoor living space, the house was very clean and decor was really pretty and international. We enjoyed meeting Andy and Sherry and look forward to another visit in the fall hopefully. They were so kind and we loved their home and peaceful back yard!

The room was as described. The kitchen and bathroom were available and the host provided breakfast foods and even provided cookies upon our arrival. While the listing indicated the bathroom and kitchen were shared with others, nothing in the listing indicated how many rooms/people shared the facilities. There are three rooms that share the facilities. However, only one other room was occupied for only one of the three nights we stayed there. The house is very nice and the hosts were very friendly and gracious. I will consider staying there again when we are in the area.

We were a larger group and stayed at this lovely place. Place has character and made us feel special. Hosts were fabulous and anticipated anything we may need.

My last minute stay at the Senator was short but sweet. The home is beautiful and historic, bedroom quiet and peaceful with rich late morning sunlight, bed and linens very comfortable, and Karl & Mark were exquisitely hospitable in helping me adjust to the house and find and offer everything I needed. Karl cooked a delicious breakfast in the morning and Henry and Keisha's canine company was unobtrusive but delightful. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Adorable little farm house, cute and relaxing. Perfect little yard for my dog to hang out, porch with chairs and a grill to relax at the end of the day. Super easy to find and she was very clear with I instructions. Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time. Will definitely return. It’s clear they care about every little detail. Run smoother than a 5 star hotel. We felt like loved relatives and esteemed guests.

Karl and Mark did an incredible job preserving the property’s charming, vintage character. I loved everything about the house—from the front porch to the backyard —it just had such a cozy, welcoming vibe. We stayed on the third floor, and our room and bathroom were not only spotless but also absolutely adorable. My husband and I were in Mount Joy to visit Bube’s Brewery, which was conveniently just a five-minute walk from the B&B. The neighborhood itself is quiet and easily walkable. Karl’s communication was top-notch, and the breakfast really sealed the deal for us. Served in the beautiful breakfast room, the eggs—fresh from the chickens out back—were delicious, and everything was so flavorful. I could go on and on about how much I enjoyed our stay, but I’ll leave it at this: if you’re visiting the Mount Joy area, you absolutely can’t go wrong staying here.

What a special place! Kimberly was amazing. The home was so cozy and felt like home. Breakfast was delicious. We can’t wait to go back!
