We had a great time in a fabulous spot. Best weekend of my summer this year. We saw river otters and a Cormorant while sitting on the deck in the back yard. This cottage is gem in a paradisiac environment.

Lovely space, we were 3 sibblings with our families - room for everyone to hang out and spread out. We appreciated the great kitchen and comfy furniture. Beds were comfortable and we were able to have our dogs as well.

Our three-night stay exceeded all of our expectations. For nature lovers such as ourselves, the tranquil, beautiful setting was ideal. We saw various birds right from the cottage, and numerous others in the nearby reserve. The sunsets and morning light inspired us to paint, draw and photograph, to capture a record of this beautiful place. William is a splendid host. He provided us with historical information about the area and his family’s role in settling and living in it. He is a generous and compassionate man, and inspirational in his devotion to the land and its history. A million thanks, William!

Great stay! The view is unbeatable! The cabin was so clean and cozy! The bed was SO comfy! We took advantage of the games and the espresso machine! it had everything we needed and wanted.

Staying at Rose's place was wonderful. Everything was exactly as described and she was a gracious host. The home itself was spotless and quite nice, and everything that we needed was provided. The beds were also very comfortable. The neighbourhood was peaceful and anything you might need was located just a short walk up the road. We would most certainly return to this location for another stay. Thanks for everything Rose! Keep up the great work!

We really enjoyed our stay. This home had everything we needed and it felt cozy and comfortable. France was extremely helpful and responsive and the neighborhood is cozy and quiet. We will definitely be back soon.

Jean-Martin's place was absolutely beautiful! He was super responsive and gave clear instructions. We are a big group and the house gave us tons of space. It was immaculately clean! Loved that there was a fully stocked kitchen with dishes and appliances. Plenty of breakfast food left in the fridge. Location perfect for buses, and a 10 minute walk to the river.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment is nestled in the heart of the old town, full of charm and history, yet it offers all the modern comforts one could ask for. From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly responsive, kind, and thoughtful—making the entire experience smooth and welcoming. The apartment itself is warm, cozy, and tastefully decorated with elegant touches that reflect its historic surroundings. It has real character, with beautiful details that make it feel both unique and romantic. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway.

Perfect location if your planning on boating and fishing short drive to town and boat ramp plenty of room for your boat and truck and outside outlet for charging

Geraldine and Benoits home is so beautiful and cozy! From the moment we pulled up we were greeted and shown around the apartment. Which is much bigger than it appears in photos and also so clean and beautiful! The home has everything you need and then some. The owners have gone out of their way to make it extra special. The view of the water is stunning and we woke up to the sounds of nature in the back yard. Dont hesitate to book this one! It’s one of the best I’ve stayed in! Eugene’s place was very clean and had everything we needed. He was very responsive, Super accommodating and helpful as well. My son and I had a great time on the water in the pedal boat and he loved the hot tub! (Which I will add was also very clean) If you choose to stay at this relaxing, quiet and enjoyable place, it is suggested to do groceries prior to coming into town as it is quite expensive at the towns grocery store and if you’d like to use the fire pit, bring your fire wood as it is not provided. Thank you Eugene! We enjoyed our stay and were sad to go :)

Carlo’s place is very conveniently located with a view of the Ottawa River as it flows into the St. Lawrence River. The house is very comfortable for casual living with open backyard and kayaks for warm weather recreation.

Had a fantastic stay! The place was super clean, well-equipped, and the scenery was beautiful. Check-in was smooth, and Lisa was kind enough to extend our check-in and check-out times. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

We had a very pleasant stay! Easy to unwind in front of a cozy fireplace. David is a great host, quick to respond, very friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Exactly what we needed!

My partner and our friend had a lovely time staying at this adorable little cabin down the lane from the shores of Lake Champlain. It was quiet and peaceful, and the house was spotless. Honestly, we spent most of our time in the amazing soaking tub! That was one of the best features of the spot. Steven was a wonderful host who answered questions promptly and gave clear directions, as well as great recommendations for local restaurants and areas. We really enjoyed St. Albans! A lot of the restaurants in the area close on the early side, so we really enjoyed utilizing the kitchen. The nature around the area was really cool to behold and made for great photography! The turkey vultures were mating and there must have been a pack of at least soaring over the shores of the lake. So cool! Our dog Wilma had a wonderful time on her first doggie vacation and she says she would stay again. :) Thanks for a great stay, Steven!

Très bon séjour :) Le chalet est bien agencé, la disposition des pieces est meilleure que ce que laissaient interpréter les photos ! La cuisine avec son îlot central permet un coin convivial pour la préparation des repas, le coin table est simple et efficace, et le salon, petit et chaleureux, possède plus de places assises qu'il n'y paraît sur les photos ! Tout le monde est ainsi confortablement assis et proche du foyer. Ces espaces cuisine / salle à manger / salon sont communicants ce qui fait que chacun peut avoir son espace tout en restant à proximité. Dominic a été très réactif et très arrangeant, merci pour cela !
