Place is exactly as described and in pictures, in fact, I believe even better. Mediterranean feel but in a cabin overlooking canyon. Seems remodeled or at least very well kept up, beautiful platform outside to take in special canyon view. All amenities needed in house. Grab groceries prior to getting to cabin since it is about 10-15 miles away from local markets and restaurant. Overall, great!

This place is AMAZING! We immediately commented how we have to come back for longer. Would be great for later families to get a couple of the cabins in a row. We couldn’t imagine a more beautiful view!

The house was exceptionally clean and was a GREAT location with a GREAT view! We took two elementary age kids and two dogs and everyone enjoyed it. The views were excellent. The kids had an area to play (swings, climbing pole, horseshoes, etc.) right by the house. The walking path was great for all of us in the evening. We also enjoyed seeing some of the wildlife in the area. The host was available through the entirity of the booking and stay. We would not hesitate to stay again and have already recommended to friends/family!

Great spot for a fishing trip. The house is small, it is perfect with a couple and 3 kids. The beds up top I wouldn’t recommend for adults, but still worked for us. Great spot, will be back

Our stay at the Rustic Cabin - Cliffside was fantastic. Kevin and Raquel were communicative and made check-in and check-out easy. The place was clean, comfortable, and designed to perfection. No detail was leftout. The views are spectacular and the location and access to Palo Duro State Park and downtown Canyon is very convenient. While the weather didn't always cooperate with our plans, the cabin made up for it. Sad Monkey Merchantile down the street became a daily stop for us too, from coffee to a cold beer after a hike. We will definitely be booking another stay in the future!

We slept comfortably and my older son loved the loft. Couch was a little small for me but I’m 6’5 so there’s that. It was a great place that I would certainly stay at again. Had everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay.

So close to the canyon, very comfortable.

Doves Rest exceeded our expectations! It could not be closer to the entrance of Palo Duro Canyon State Park. The canyon, of course, is the star of the show, but the grounds at Doves Rest were so exceptionally beautiful and peaceful! We were unfortunately stuck inside the cabin for one whole day due to an unusual wind storm which resulted in a loss of power, but we enjoyed watching the Barbary sheep, wild hogs, and Western Meadowlarks from our window. The kitchen was so well stocked with quality utensils and cookware making it easy for us to prepare our meals. The cabin was clean and comfortable, parking was right next to cabin. I would recommend this cabin and any other at Doves Rest to my friends!! We will definitely stay here again if we come back!!

This cabin was worth every penny. We went with our three young kids (7/4/2) for a weekend of hiking. The cabin was perfect because it had everything we needed for a refuge after a long day outdoors. And the views were indeed breathtaking. Kevin was super responsive to our questions ahead of time, and he even provided some solid recommendations on places to visit. Highly recommend!

We just needed a place for the night and thankfully found this home. Wonderful !!! So accommodating and inviting ! Wish we could've stayed longer. Super easy to navigate the house. Highly recommend

We stayed at the Hideout on April 7-10. The cabin was great. It is about a mile from the entrance to Palo Dura Canyon State Park so very convenient. The host, Andrea, was very nice and hospitable. She provided fresh eggs and everything for a complete and hearty breakfast. The cabin is clean and has everything you need. I would definitely go back.

Kevins cabin was ideal for my husband and I. The view of the canyon is outstanding from the kitchen or bedroom. The house was spotless and was stocked with everything we needed.

Great place. The whole family had a great time enjoying the quiet and relaxing in our trip. Definitely will stay there again!
