The property was an 18th Century barn which the owners converted to an extremely spacious holiday cottage, with the best of traditional and modern features. It is ideally situated for fell walking, running, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding and other mountain and lake activities. The cottage encourages a hygge-style approach to cosiness, relaxation and wellbeing.

The Granary is attached to an old threshing barn and to the farmhouse at Little Annaside. The accommodation has been converted retaining original beams and features. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. This converted Barn is 3.5 miles approximately 10 minutes drive from Kendal. Views from the barn extend over fields to Whinfell, approximately a two or three hour walk directly from your door. You will have the owners contact number. The barn has exposed beams and the natural style complements the surroundings, very peaceful (there is a second room also on Airbnb Curlew Quarters).
