Spacious apartment with 1 master- & 2 twin bedrooms. The master and one twin have a great ocean view. Very spacious lounge & dining area, kitchen with Nespresso machine, washer & dryer. Weber BBQ on the very large patio. Just down the hill from the promenade. We had a great time, thank you Filip :) - a 1A-host!

We stayed for 9 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The apartment was great with all you have at home and more. Everything was in a good nic and the view is in readable Needless to say we will be back...

We had an amazing stay at Thami’s place. He allowed us to drop off our luggage before check-in time. The place is family friendly, quiet. relaxing with great views.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in La Mercy(Beach Haven)with my family! The accommodation was spotless—neat, tidy, and well-maintained throughout. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking sea views, which made every morning and evening extra special. The hosts were fantastic—so warm, welcoming, and always quick to respond to anything we needed. Communication was smooth and efficient from start to finish, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway with top-notch hospitality!

Beautiful apartment and close to restaurant, beach and shops.

If you are looking for a place to get away from the City noise and hear the ocean waves all day everyday, this is it! Trevor's place is ideal for a family and a great bbq area to unwind in the afternoons!

Beautiful spot, perfect for a family holiday! Easy access to the beach, wonderful entertainment area where watching kids in the pool is easy! Could do with a few hooks for towels etc outside by the pool and outside shower, but other than that small suggestion, we loved our stay!

We checked in Friday afternoon with my family for the weekend. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house is exactly how it looks as advertised, great view to wake up too and a walkable distance to the beach. The entire house is well furnished with fresh bedding and towels for us to use. Really an enjoyable place to stay at. The hosts were so friendly enough to let us check out abit later. I would highly recommend this place for everyone ( families and friends).

Melissa was simply theeee best!!! We at no point felt neglected, the checking in was the smoothest I’ve ever had, driving to the place, she kept checking on us, we arrived late but she stayed up until late just so she can be able to assist us check-in. The place is amazing, more beautiful in person that it even is on the pictures, the view is breathtaking!!! With the sea breeze, we walked to the beach, for less than 3 minutes, that’s how close it is to the house. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Melissa’s, apart from the above mentioned, Melissa has humanity and we found that gold about her! She’s not just making money from here guests but she’s considerate of them and makes sure they’re happy and convenienced.

Kelly's place is exactly as described, the decor especially the beautiful picture frames and everything around the house makes one feel absolutely relaxed . Kelly was absolutely great in meeting our special requests , which we appreciated . We will definitely book again

The Whale House was perfect, peaceful, direct beach access, internet, security and friendly, helpful neighbour's. Debbie was so helpful and attentive, very grateful for easy check-in and check-out. We would love to be back soon!!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Tamryn’s place—a stunning beachfront property. From the moment we arrived on Saturday, we were blown away by the breathtaking views. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean every morning was truly unforgettable. The home is beautifully maintained, stylish, and perfectly located just steps from the beach. It offered everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. A special shoutout to the cleaning staff and housekeeper, who were fantastic—so friendly, efficient, and made sure everything stayed spotless. We’re missing it. Highly recommend Tamryn’s place—we’d return in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay with family, including our 2 young kids. The view is incredible! The house is beautiful, nice and clean (Jenny the domestic worker helped keep it that too throughout our stay). A short (if somewhat steep) walk down the path to a lovely beach complete with rock pools and a small river that the kids really enjoyed. There is large braai and also a webber which was really handy for feeding a big family. We arrived early and Nadine was kind enough to allow us flexibility in the check in time which is always so appreciated. I hope we will be back!

Stunning location. No need to use your car to go to the restaurants, shops or even the beach. The apartment itself is just as stunning, with beautiful views.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. We are already planning our next visit! The apartment matched the description and was exactly what we needed for a weekend away. It’s right on the beach, so you can pop up and down easily and enjoy the view and soothing sound of the ocean from the comfort of your balcony any time of day. The apartment was well equipped with everything you need to stay in and rotate between the beach and home. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Ballito!

I had a great time with my mother. The place was easy to find, we enjoyed our stay and the view is absolutely amazing. I am a Durbanite, but I haven’t lived home in over 12 years so it was nice to take out my mom for her 64th birthday and enjoy this lovely home as our vacation home. It was sad to leave and I wish I booked more days, we will be returning on another family vacation.

What a beautiful spot! From the moment you arrive you feel as though you can exhale. Stunning place, beautiful furniture linen and every amenity. Special touches like great coffee, milk in the fridge and just all round welcoming space. Oh but the views of the ocean!! Wow! Literally a few steps away with direct beach access and access to the promenade with its host of beautiful restaurants and close proximity to shopping etc. You can’t get better value for money in such a beautiful space and location than this spot in Umhlanga! Oh and the host was the cherry on top. Warm, helpful, responsive. I will be booking again! That’s for sure. 🔥🔥🔥

Paola was an absolutely amazing host. She provided us with clear instructions up front and was extremely communicative. She assisted us with all of our inquiries and she made us feel right at home. I HIGHLY recommend this venue. It is perfect for a small family trip. The unit is spacious, fully equipped, and even has a washer/dryer. It is just steps from the beach/boardwalk, and the host provides helpful items like beach towels and beach chairs. Just note that it’s on the top floor of the building, so pack accordingly since you’ll need to carry your bags. Loren is an excellent host, fully responsive, and so very helpful. There are multiple beachside restaurants less than a 5 minute walk from the building, and lots of rock pools and safe swimming areas along the beach. If you are looking to stay in Ballito, this is the place.

Wow wow!! Myself and my family had a very nice stay at Trish’s place. Everything was wonderful from check in she welcomed us to her warm Home made sure we understood the surroundings all her instructions clear and simple. The place was much better than the photos, beautiful scenery nice and spacious for the whole family to enjoy. A stone throw away from the beach which the kids loved very much. I would love to book this place again Trish is an amazing host. Thanks for everything
