Its a 50m walk to the beach and lagoon of the Bushmans River in Kenton on Sea on the E Cape's sunshine coast, and a 5 min drive to the Kariga river lagoon and beach Its an hour's drive to the Addo elephant park and 15 mins to 2 big 5 reserves. The town has lots of restaurants, shops, medical and vet help The house has a comfortable deck, inside and outside dining spaces, and a large well equipped kitchen.

Bushmans River Roost Cottage

In a 2 hectare garden of the River Roost B&B property we offer a self-catering cottage by the Bushmans River. With 2 en-suite bedrooms and a living area with a pull-out sofa the cottage can accommodate 6 guests. Open your sliding doors and fully experience the African nature that surrounds you while you enjoy the views of the river and the ocean. Down by the river there is a private jetty if you would like to moor your boat or fish. You could also try pottery. We give lessons.

Over 200 bird species have been identified in the estate. The facility offers a full range of DSTV channels and unlimited Wifi.

Stand alone, self-catering cottage for two in a quiet area, short stroll to the beach/lagoon, shops and restaurants. Off street parking, fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi (Fibre connection) and smart tv. Inverter and water tanks to assist with load shedding. Our housekeeper is available at an additional cost per day. Please do not hire strangers for security reasons. Please note no daily service or laundry facilities.

Villa Makhaya

Our holiday house is located at the Kenton Eco Estate. The Kenton Eco Estate is a private nature reserve where waterbucks, zebra’s and birds are also calling it their home. A remote will give you access to two boardwalks which will lead you to the estate private beach (approx. 2.5 km). Personally one of the most pristine beaches I have ever seen in my life.

The Beach Hut guest house is close to Kenton on Sea town centre and a short walk to the blue flag beaches and both rivers.. You’ll love The Beach Hut because of the thatched roof ambiance, the outdoor space and swimming pool.. The Beach Hut is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and groups of up to ten people.
