The guesthouse was clean, modern, and comfortable. Johann was very friendly. He greeted us at the door, and gave us helpful recommendations about things to do and the bus system. You can buy a handmade Icelandic sweater from Karen. You can also walk to Waterworld for a soak at an affordable price if you have time to kill. There was a great selection of breakfast food and the garden house setting was nice. We appreciated that Johann let us leave our bags and use the kitchen beyond check-out time to accommodate our travel plans. We would definitely stay here again. If you are coming from the airport, ask the host in advance for a taxi service recommendation. It might help you avoid a high taxi fee. There is also a bus on Strateo line 55 that takes you near enough to walk for a fraction of the cost.

Wat een heerlijke eerste nacht in IJsland. Dichtbij het vliegveld. Mooie en vooral gezellige bnb. ‘s avonds heerlijk uurtje in de hottube doorgebracht, wat een fijn plekje. Reynir is een aardige gastheer en overal is aan gedacht. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Easily the best host I have ever had on Airbnb. Everything was perfect, the place was easy to find and we were given clear instructions on everything that we needed. The host is super friendly, responsive, and helped with every inquiry or question that I had. The bnb was really cute, well organized and clean, and located in a lovely quiet neighborhood within short walking distance to the city center. We had everything that we could ever have needed, and more than we could have hoped for. I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Iceland, I will definitely be coming back on my next trip back here for sure. Die Unterkunft würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen. Das Frühstück ab 4 Uhr morgens war hervorragend, so konnten wir vor dem Flug noch Frühstücken. Johann und Karen boten mir auch an, ein Taxi zum Flughafen für den Abreisetag zu buchen. Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einer ruhigen Gegend. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Wir sind als dreiköpfige Familie gereist und haben uns in der einen Woche sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten, vor allem bequeme Betten. Das duschen ist ein Abenteuer, denn die richtige Temperatur einzustellen dauert ein bisschen, da das Wasser sehr schnell sehr heiß oder kalt wird, aber mit ein wenig Übung geht es. Für drei Leute gab es leider etwas wenig Stauraum für Kleidung und Gepäck, was aber an der Gesamtgröße der Unterkunft liegt. Nichts davon war für uns störend, wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft definitiv weiter! Besonders die Lage hat uns gut gefallen. Danke, dass wir eure Gäste sein durften!

Everything was perfect. The beds were comfortable and warm. Nice place to stay for northern light. You can get by foot to the lighthouse to get the best pictures of them.

Our stay was memorable, and Jóhanna made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The space is well-decorated, charming, and tidy with a cozy cabin ambiance. The area has a countryside feel, surrounded by mountains, open space, and greenery while only a ten to fifteen-minute drive from the city. This Air BNB was a highlight of our trip, and we'd certainly stay here again!

This accommodation is great, clean and in very good location. My view was amazing, i saw even the church from my window🤗 I am recommending this guesthouse.

Ein wirklich liebevoll eingerichtetes Hostel, man merkt, dass hier Herzblut drin steckt! Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist super, um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden.

Overall good experience. The house sits within a 10 minute walk of the main downtown area of Reykjavik. I had a rental car and street parking is free in the neighborhood which is a big plus for a larger city. No issues finding a parking spot nearby. Room was clean and private. Please note that the guest house has 3 bedrooms total so you will share a bathroom and kitchen with other guests. All doors have locks on them and a key so your personal belongings are safe. Newer washer and dryer is also available. There is also a small grocery store nearby if you'd rather cook than eat out. I was happy to have rent this.

Charmant appartement avec tout le nécessaire pour des vacances paisiblement installé, ou en vadrouille autour car proche de tout ce qu’il y a à voir ! À 10 minutes de Reykjavík centre et 30 minutes de l’aéroport principal, ainsi que du cercle d’Or ou du blue lagoon, je recommande vivement ce logement !

Wonderful stay, as advertised, great location. Parking, check-in and check out were all super easy.
