This is a charming, beautiful beautiful building with soul and history, a romantic and unique-to-New-Orleans 'Streetcar Named Desire' style, and is lovingly restored and immaculately cared for. All of the furniture and apartment accoutrements are high quality and tasteful, a swoon-worthy mix of vintage and modern. Neil went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our short stay. The immediate area is slightly industrial, and there was loud machinery noise early on a Saturday morning (bring ear plugs if you plan on sleeping in) but it's just a short and peaceful walk to Magazine Street and the Garden District (highlights were the gumbo at Gris-Gris & Century Girl vintage.) Note that if you are sharing this small space that the bathroom wall design does not fully enclose the area, making the upstairs suite best suited to solo travelers or well-established couples. Quirky, magical and authentic, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here on again future visits to the city.

I had an exceptional stay at this lovely home in New Orleans! The house was spotless upon arrival, reflecting the high standards of cleanliness maintained by the host. The host was incredibly responsive, addressing any questions or needs promptly, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The neighborhood felt very safe, allowing me to relax and enjoy my time without any concerns. Additionally, the location was perfect—many amenities were within walking distance, including fantastic restaurants, cafes, and shops. The convenience of having everything nearby added a lot of value to my trip. Overall, I highly recommend this home for anyone looking to experience New Orleans with comfort and ease. We stayed here for 1.5 wks around d holidays with our 2 toddlers. We loved the walkable neighborhood, close to trolley and the park. The place itself is beautiful and includes extra amenities. Hosts are very responsive and kind. Highly recommend!

Vilna was a kind, friendly, and helpful host. My friend and I felt very comfortable and her place and she was very helpful getting us things we needed like more water for the apartment. The area around her home felt safe and accessible and we happily made the 20-25 minute walk to Jazzfest every morning! If you are used to staying in affluent neighborhoods with manicured lawns, streetlights and perfectly aligned sidewalks -- this neighborhood and area may not be up your alley. But if you want to have the most authentic conversations with people on their porches, see the real New Orleans, and get a taste of the seventh ward leaving with the embrace of the NOLA people, don't miss a stay with VILNA!

Our stay was great, the place was exactly what we needed and in a great area. Parking was easy to find with a reasonable distance as well, which is a major plus staying in this particular area of Nola. Would definitely stay here again.

Kristen and her guesthouse were both delightful. The place is a gorgeous detached, private space behind the main house fully stocked with clean linen, snacks, drinks, kitchen utensils and books. It also has ample cooling options (air con and fans). It’s located in the stunning Garden District close to the 12 streetcar, so it was quiet and safe, but easy to get into the French Quarter. Kristen is a super friendly and responsive host, who gave me excellent recommendations for jazz clubs and clear instructions for checking in and out. If I’m in New Orleans again, I’d definitely stay here!

Très bon accueil de Jasmine et Kate, et de leurs animaux (2 chiens et 2 chats). Mon mari et moi avons adoré séjourner dans la petite maison indépendante au fond du jardin, très bien décorée et très bien équipée. Nous nous sommes vite sentis comme chez nous. Facile de se garer dans l'allée et de visiter les environs car la maison est proche des principaux axes pour sortir de la ville et suffisamment proche du French Quarter et du quartier Treme. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse !!

We had a great stay and we're surprised to find out we were on a parade route! Our host was wonderful and very thoughtful. For being directly on Burbon st, you really can't hear much in the rooms. We had a jazz busker below our balcony most of our stay. He was very talented and we loved having his music in the background of our stay. I would absolutely recommend this listing!

Fred was one of the most gracious Airbnb hosts I've encountered. The neighborhood was super quiet and a nice retreat from the NOLA Super Bowl activities. It was conveniently located and only 15 minutes from Frenchmen Street without traffic. We did not have any issues during our stay and found Fred to be quite accommodating. The space was as described and as it looked in the photos. A pleasant surprise were the complimentary beverages in the fridge. While we didn't need it, I appreciated the convenience and access to a washer and dryer. Also, we were allowed to park in the driveway. Fred was a great host.

I had a wonderful stay just over the bridge. This was a very safe, secure neighborhood in New Orleans. Because I was traveling professionally, this fit my needs perfectly for 1 person space-wise. The space was beautifully appointed and very detailed. Andrea is very hospitable and kind.

Ewan was a great host. Friendly and accommodating. The space was tucked away, quiet and private. Walkable to the corner bar, park, restaurants, market, and track. I even walked back from voodoo spiritual temple (30 min.) with no issues. Thank you Ewan!

We felt right at home in Andrea’s cute and comfortable space. There are so many sweet touches. Her beds are very comfortable and she was super helpful during our stay. We hope to return in the future.

Absolutely loved staying in this beautiful place. The decor is incredibly thoughtful and gorgeous. So much character. Bed was very comfortable and shower was great too. Loved the neighborhood. Very close to Frenchman street and a short walk to the French Quarter. Absolutely hope to come back and stay again in the near future. ❤️

Very nice place to stay in New Orleans if you're looking for someplace quiet that will welcome your small dog. There is a small, fully fenced yard with a patio (table and 4 chairs). There are fairy lights strung overhead which makes it a very nice place to sit in the evening! This is the ground floor apartment (the owner lives in the second floor apartment). The rooms are large (except the kitchen, which is very small, and only has a few pots/pans, also very small). Very nice bathroom with a walk-in shower and a stacking washer/dryer. The whole place was squeaky clean, and a nice coffee bar is set up, with a keurig and several flavored coffee pods to choose from (the pecan was the best!). There are two bedrooms, both with queen-sized beds. Note for accessibility: there is a step down to get into the apartment, and some of the rooms are slightly different heights, leaving a small step down or up. There is off-street parking, that looks to fit at least 2 cars (possibly 3).

Our second time in New Orleans in as many years and we knew we wanted to stay in Marigny. The location of Craig's apartment was fantastic--quiet yet close to so many great bars, restaurants and other amenities. Many have commented on the comfortable bed---here to confirm that! Overall, it was the perfect place to stay while in town for a friend's wedding. Would definitely stay again!

one the I always look for staying of town is comfortable beds I don't usually spend a great deal of time actually at the airbnb. I must say that the beds Danielle's place were extremely comfortable, so much so that would stay here again. I also appreciate the ease of check in and the flexibility she provided

Overall a good Airbnb for a quick weekend stay but it is part of another building so the entrance is a little awkward but a good deal for the buck paid

We really enjoyed staying at Jason’s place for Jazzfest. It was clean and quiet. Jason was very responsive and gracious. We loved the location, and we were able to walk to Jazzfest, City Park, a coffee shop, a grocery store, the bus and trolley stops, bars, and restaurants.

It was amazing. It was very clean. The amenities were great. It was so close to our venue. It was in a great location. I loved it.

After staying in Courtney's garage apartment, I feel like a native! My daughter attends Loyola and this was the first time in 2 years I spent 5 days in Nola. I would stay there again when visiting. Courtney was great with responding to any questions or concerns I had.
