The airbnb is beautiful and very well located. Judith provided all the details/recommendations and had also kept easter chocolates for us( cherry on the top) The bus connectivity from the bnb is great. The ventenor beach is walkable and the coastal walk is scenic. There are great food options nearby as well The balcony has a pretty seating setup and the cats are super cute Would 10/10 recommend.

Great place to stay for recharging your batteries and also have peaceful times. Mr Klemens is a great host and a talented sculpturist!

We had a great time here. Views are amazing . The weather was lovely so we made the most of the outdoor space and the hot tub. Great place for walking.

We had a lovely stay at this property near Cowes for a short break at the end of the Summer holidays. The apartment completely met our expectations as it appeared as described and shown in photos. The hosts were incredibly responsive and communicated clearly on all of the check-in, check-out and property and local information. We were a family of 4 and our special dog and it suited us very well, lots of space both inside and outside, a private, secluded garden and with a great view of the Solent. We particularly liked the decking overlooking the peaceful garden, the view of the boats and ships passing by and the short walk to the seafront where we could walk to Cowes or Gurnard for shops (Cowes only) and restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Highly recommend! Richard is a great host, responsive and friendly. We like the location. Although it’s very close to Shanklin beach, Main Street and chine, it’s in a quiet location. The kitchen is well equipped. The only thing we are giving 9 out of 10 is the shower - the water pressure is not the best.

Really lovely and cozy apartment! Debbie and Andrew provided loads of food (bread, butter, milk, cereal, and of course the bottle of wine). Debbie gave us loads of restaurant and activity suggestions which we really appreciated! We also brought our bikes and they kindly let us store them in their shed for safety, so a massive plus! If you like dogs, go and say hi to their adorable dog Snoopy! Really recommend this place :)

Had a lovely stay here, great location right on the coastal path. We loved walking down to the Hideaway and the esplanade. The accommodation was a great space to explore Shanklin and beyond! We highly recommend.

We were extremely lucky to have found Olive House. Everything in the house are just perfect or even better than described. Kimberly the Host was incredibly thoughtful and friendly. We were greeted by a vase of beautiful roses and a box loaded with bread, jam, chocolates and chips and useful sightseeing information. There was even supply of fresh milk and butter in the fridge. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything we needed, including a bottle of cooking oil, salt, sugar, pepper, teabags and coffee pods. The appliances are like new. All very clean, modern and function perfectly. The coffee machine even comes with a milk frother! A B&O Bluetooth speaker stands by for us to use. The house is spotlessly clean, spacious and stylishly decorated. The kitchen, the living room and the en-suite bedroom all enjoy nice river views and we can see beautiful sunrise. It’s extremely quiet and we all had good sleep. I’d definitely recommend Olive House.

Woodlands is absolutely outstanding!! Best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. The house is STUNNING. Beautifully furnished, 6 gorgeous big double rooms, incredible kitchen living space with every gadget/crockery/cutlery you could need. They had left some super thoughtful welcome gifts and there’s loads of herbs and spices which makes the world of difference if you’re cooking every day like we did. Everything is state of the art and top quality from the heating system to the spacious bathrooms. And there’s an abundance of everything - toiletries, towels, bath mats, hair dryers. There’s a lovely garden with a summer house with a football table which the kids loved. Annie and her lovely father were welcoming and responsive. The area is stunning, right by the beach with a wonderful restaurant on the doorstep. We honestly couldn’t fault it. We will be back!! Thank you Annie!

The perfect spot to relax and unwind. Hilda Cottage is beautifully styled and furnished, with everything you can possibly need and more! Squeaky clean, comfy beds, a secluded garden and plenty of seats for a party of six. Perfectly located just a hop and a skip to the sea, and the coastal path. Down the road from a very well stocked Co-Op and a fabulous pub. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Crab and Lobster, and frequented the bar on numerous occasions, it’s so close!!! The Harbour View made for a very pleasant coffee stop too! The amazing weather truly was the cherry on top. We had a fantastic stay. The property was modern, had everything we needed with some nice little extras, comfy beds and a nice outlook towards the sea.

Fab seaside location, walking distance to the high street/ pier. House was stunning very clean. The hot tub was a beautiful addition. Would definitely recommend.

Great location for Cowes and walking to transport links. (Loved the bus service on IoW.) House was perfect for a large group with loads of bathrooms and superb amount of kitchen equipment/ glassware etc. Very clean and tidy whilst at the same time comfortable. Would go back with a big group.

We had a fantastic stay at David’s place. The location was peaceful and well-situated for exploring the Isle of Wight, especially for our fossil-hunting trip. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Communication with David was smooth and helpful throughout. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great base on the island.

The apartment is in the center of the village which is where you want to be. Walk to pubs, tea rooms, restaurants and stores in less than 2 min. The apartment has a lockbox with keys to the front door of the building and the front door of the apartment. There is a very slow lift that takes you directly into the apartment, or you can walk up two flights of stairs to the front door to the flat and then walk up two more flights to the main living area. We used the lift for our suitcases, but otherwise always took the stairs. The lift requires a code and the simultaneous pushing of buttons, but it's handy for heavy bags or if you've got mobility issues. So nice to have two bathrooms, though there are some quirky things about both. Due to the ceiling heights, the master bath doesn't have a shower, and there isn't a mirror. There's a small mirror on the bedroom dresser. The second bedroom has really low to the ground twin beds. They'd be lovely for little kids but were awkward for us.

Amazing apartment, set in a peaceful, secluded and private area away from the main road. Really close to the beach. The interior design is very good, high standard with first class fixtures and fittings, like being in boutique hotel. Would highly recommend.

Just perfect for what we needed, large and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, small and secure yard to allow dog out in. Quiet area and building, a plus for a fireworks nervous dog on NYE!

Pippa was a great host, leaving very clear instructions on how to get into the property and being super flexible on whether we’d need to use the EV charger or not (we didn’t need to in the end, but the option of being able to charge the car if we needed to was super reassuring!). Lovely apartment and a great location to walk along the coast, head into town for food (loved The Cave for wine and tapas), grab a lazy breakfast (big thumbs up for The Lighthouse) or explore the region. Enjoyed the peace and quiet too! Thanks very much indeed!

Lovely new build apartment, so new amenities and fittings. Well located, easy to find right off the motorways, with dedicated parking spot. Still close enough a short walk and your right in the center. Tom was very responsive to all my messages. Only slight downside, as it’s so new the electric charger infrastructure didn’t seem to work. Worth noting if your electric car only, unless the bay charging gets sorted out, you’l need to take this into account. Otherwise perfect and would happily recommend.
