The Dragon's Den

Cosy, contemporary cabin with its own garden area set at the foot of the mountain in the majestic Glenachulish valley. Ideally situated for exploring the stunning scenery of Glencoe, Fort William:-the UK's outdoor capital or the small harbour town of Oban the seafood capital of Scotland and gateway to the Hebridean Islands. Located midway between Nevis range and Glencoe mountain the Dragons Den is an ideal base for year round outdoor pursuits including skiing, mountain biking ,swimming and ⛳.

Escape for a while to our off-grid camping hut in a secret location! Experience being out in the wild, with the luxury of a wood burning stove and a super comfy bed. Watch the sun go down behind distant hills and the deer pass by at dawn. Switch off your phone, relish the peace and solitude. A perfect base for exploring Mull and Iona. Faiche an Traoin (Faish an Trown) means Field of the Corncrake, birds that once inhabited this area. It was built in 2020, has 2 double bedrooms, large lounge/dining area/kitchen and bathroom with walk in shower. It is located in the village of Dunan, 5 miles from Broadford. The house is directly above the seashore with views to the Island of Scalpay across Loch na Cairidh, the Old man of Storr and to the mountains of the mainland and the wall to ceiling windows highlight the beautiful views

The Cabin With a View

A spacious cabin which is within walking distance to all local amenities (swimming pool, shops, restaurants & bars). It is approximately 10 mins walk to the nearest bus depot & local train station. Ideally situated for exploring the hills and mountains round about. The bridge to the Isle of Skye is only 1 mile away and the hills of Kintail are within easy reach at about 15 miles. The quaint, picturesque village of Plockton is close by and the historic Eilean Donan Castle 8 miles away.

The Bothan

Relax in this calm, stylish space on the Isle of Kerrera and explore the beautiful and wild landscape. The ideal island getaway for couples or lone adventurers. Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
