We had a lovely stay. House was as described, clean and had all the things we needed. Would recommend to friends and family.

Lovely little cottage in a lovely area of the country. We were down to visit a friend and watch a local theatrical production but we also managed to do some walking in beautiful woodlands that were just a few minutes drive away. East Harling is a very pleasant walk away - but probably not at night - as part of the walk is on unlit roads with no pavements. Possibly a little unfairly, the location review was dropped a star for this. Mary was very friendly, responsive and provided comprehensive and accurate information. All-in-all it’s a lovely bright little cottage in a lovely tranquil location ….. I nearly forgot the hot tub - lovely touch - clean and a very welcome mode of relaxation.

We only had a one night stay but the property was so clean and beautifully presented. Our children loved the games! The hot tub was lovely and Hollie was hugely helpful and very responsive when there was an initial issue with it working. Thank you!

We spent the weekend here for my sister in laws hen do and it was just perfect! From the moment I booked until the moment I confirmed we’d checked out and left, the service and communication given by Amanda was second to none. The house and area was amazing, the hot tub, garden, bedrooms, kitchen, everything was just perfect and we had the most wonderful stay! I would defo recommend others to stay here, especially when the weather is glorious as we spent most of our time in the garden and in the hot tub! Thanks Amanda and Adam, you were great hosts x

We booked this property to celebrate my mums 60th birthday and to say it was perfect is an understatement. We had a lovely long weekend in the hot tub with lots of BBQ’s. We also had 2 dogs and we felt so at ease that they were running around in the secure field. Will definitely be rebooking! Thanks Lucy & Co

As a family of foodies and in particular loving shellfish West mersea and the cottage were absolutely perfect for us. Our two teenagers loved the hot tub and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking good food in the small but perfectly formed kitchen and sitting in the sunshine in a very pretty deck watching the world go by. three nights was a treat, But perhaps a few extra just to make sure we could try all of the wonderful food offerings West Mersey provides . Thanks Roland for being a great host - we loved the cottage and would love to return.

The Little Owl is an absolutely beautiful place, and I truly couldn’t recommend it more for anyone seeking a peaceful escape in the heart of the British countryside. We mostly cooked our own meals in the well-equipped kitchen, but the location was ideal for exploring nearby Bury St Edmunds, and we even managed a lovely day trip to Cambridge for some shopping after check-out. Hayley is a fantastic host—everything was seamless from start to finish. She was always quick to respond and we really appreciated the flexibility with early check-in and late check-out, where possible. One of the highlights was soaking in the hot tub, surrounded by stunning views—it honestly felt like our own little world. We had such a wonderful time and only wish we could’ve stayed longer. I can’t recommend Hayley and The Little Owl enough!

House was really nice, the surroundings were lovely and the area was really quiet! Chloe was very accommodating when problems occurred she responded very quickly and tried to resolve them fast. Overall, quite a nice stay aside from some small issues!

Really enjoyed our stay last week. A cosy cottage in a country side location within easy easy reach to explore the Suffolk coast. Welcomed by hosts Mike and Sam who were there if we needed anything but also left us to relax to enjoy this peaceful spot.

The holiday home "Poets Corner" is perfect for a stay in the region. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is cozy, very clean and equipped with many loving details. Kenninghall is a charming place. Everything you need is there, a grocery store, a pub and a cafe. You can also go for a walk, for example to the zoo in Banham. The neighbors are very friendly. Many thanks to Marie for this lovely stay and the friendly conversation. We are now back home in Germany and will remember the beautiful Easter holiday.

Lovely stay in this cosy, comfortable cottage. Perfect for four of us and a small dog. The tall ones did bang their heads but it’s unavoidable in a such a historic building. Great location and walkable to everything you could need including oysters.

Beautiful cottage with lovely decor and good utilities. The high street is just around the corner as is the sea and the beach. Really lovely stay.

Great location with nice walks nearby through woods and across a common. Cottage had everything you need for the holiday, with plenty of places to visit nearby, this is an ideal area to visit. The garden is enclosed which was great for our dog and was a good size and not overlooked, would definitely go back again.

A beautiful house in a lovely tranquil setting. There were a few bumped heads, due to low doorways (and in spite of many warnings!) but I would thoroughly recommend Meadow Cottage as a well-located base for a break in a Suffolk. We appreciated being able to check out a couple of hours late as we had a lunch appointment close by.

Well what can we say, perfect location/very very clean and tidy. Loads of lovely touches to make us welcome, it was better than a hotel. Loads to do locally and just short drives out to all the sort after locations you may needs. Make sure you go to Mrs T’s fish & chip shop in Southwold on the beach it’s a must. Everything was perfect and Kerry & Adam are lovely, what a stunning part of the world they live in. They even supplied some milk/fresh eggs/crisps/biscuits, towels/linen were scrumptious oh and the beds extremely comfortable. Basically your mad if you don’t book here👍 Matt/Zara & boys thank you again x

Fantastic cottage in idyllic location. Photos do not do it justice - it’s a beautiful cottage, full of character and charm. Lovely garden too. Had a wonderful stay and communication was excellent.

Fab cottage perfect location for exploring the area . Great gastronomy pub 2 minutes walk . Lovely friendly village great parking facilities outside the property or allocated parking. We would definitely be booking again in fact I have booked for my parents.

A lovely, clean and well equipped cottage in a quiet village. David is a great host providing lots of little extras which were greatly appreciated and responded to messages very quickly. Would definitely recommend.

This place is absolutely perfect for families. Paul and Jane are such lovely hosts making you feel so welcome before you've even got there. The cottage is cosy with a great size and well stocked kitchen. The play area next to the cottage was great with a play barn as well with loads of books and toys to choose from. The outdoor bath was perfect with such a beautiful view over the landscape. Paul and Jane have thought of everything to make the stay as brilliant as it can be. Honesty bar and freshly made pizza in the pizza oven if you're lucky. So much in the area to do as well, will definitely be coming back.

The cottage is in a perfect location for amenities and for country walks. We parked the car and never used it till we went home. The cottage itself is fabulous and so tastefully decorated. Would recommend and stay again

We had a lovely stay at Bonnie Cottage. Jo was very responsive to messages and accommodating as we booked on the day of our stay. We really appreciated the thoughtful treats left for us grown ups and toys and chocolate left out for the little ones. The space was modern, clean and very child friendly. Only a short walk to the beach too! We would definitely return ☺️

This was the perfect retreat for our short break and did “exactly what it said on the tin”. Everything we needed was there and it was ideally situated for what we had planned

My partner and I stayed here for Christmas and we had the best time. We were greeted on arrival by Feri and when we entered the cottage it was spotless and had everything we needed. Feri and Steve were very friendly and attentive and responded quickly if we had any questions. Would highly recommend visiting here and we will gladly book again soon.
