Fantastic place for our annual girls get away! 4 of us girls each had our own place to sleep. Amazing kitchen with everything you need. I loved the open concept with breathtaking views!! I could even keep an eye on my 70 year old Mom who was fishing off the dock while I was busy in the kitchen lol We will definitely be going back ♥️

Our friend group of 14 had a great time at Sheena and Bryce's beautiful house. The spacious living room was perfect to play boardgames. The kitchen was perfectly equipped to cook for our big group too. The place is very quieted and very conveniently located to be close enough to do day trips to the Cabot trail. We would love to come back.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The lake view was a highlight, and we spent many relaxing hours enjoying it. The location was ideal, with easy access to hiking trails which we enjoyed thoroughly. Michael was a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful. We can't wait to return!

There are not enough words to say how outstanding the experience was at Caper Landing and with our host Nikki. I don’t know what else could have been provided but a generous basket of gifts including a lobster stuffie and knit swag toque hats for all 10 of us set the scene for all the delights of the place. So many amenities, even fireproof blankets for the fire pit, the spa like bathrooms, the most fully equipped kitchen I had ever seen, all added up to a luxury hotel experience with Airbnb convenience for a large party. Both levels were unbelievably kitted out, with the lower level giving us all we needed in a second gathering space with all the toys including shuffleboard, games, card table and so much more. Two mirrored floors of beds and baths, with two principle suites and two extra full baths meant everyone had privacy and restful retreats. Everything was first class and beyond. We are booking our return for next year! Brava, Nikki, you rock!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Melissa's home. We arrived late and woke up to the breath-taking view. We took a walk down to the docks and it was a beautiful way to spend the morning. Everything was perfect at the house, with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Great cozy stay. Will do again and again and again. Bring ingredients to really savour the home cooked experience. Thanks for the cooking utensils. Floor heating will heat the home overnight. Super cozy duvet and bedding. General road advice. Be sure to get to check in before sunset. As the drive can be snowy and windy due to mountainous driving.

Wir haben uns in dem Haus am See sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ruhe war einfach herrlich! Verschiedene Boote zur Auswahl, um den See zu erkunden. Als wir grillen wollten, aber die Gasflasche leer war, bekamen wir sofort eine neue. Auf meine Nachrichten wurde sehr schnell reagiert und der Kontakt war immer freundlich. Zum Glück hatten wir ein gutes Öl gegen die Steckmücken dabei (davon gibt es sehr viele und die fliegen auch schon am Vormittag). Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Lovely condo. Had everything. Conveniently located. Beautiful view. Several outdoor seating areas which we loved. We would highly recommend this to anyone!

Kirk and Kelley were very welcoming and lovely. The cottage was easy to locate and had some stunning views of the mountains and the lake. Thank you for hosting us and would indeed return for another get away in the future.

It was an amazing place to stay. Clean and cozy home. When you stay there, it looks like your home. It has everything you need. And the private beach was WOW. So relaxing and so peaceful. Our stay at this property was fantastic! The house was spotless, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location on the lake was absolutely stunning, and having kayaks available was a wonderful bonus. It made our trip to Cape Breton and the Cabot Trail even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was seamless, with clear instructions and a thorough description provided. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay again!

Chices, modernes und stimmiges Einzimmerhaus mit grossartigem Blick auf das Wasser , vom Bett aus! Alles da, was man braucht, auch sehr leckerer Kaffee und Tee. Zum Baden hat es gereicht, und zum Kajakfahren oder SUP war leider zu wenig Zeit. Angenehm ruhig, auch wenn es gesamt vier Häuser sind. Frühstück in der Sonne, kurzum wunderbar, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Da hat sich jemand mit viel Liebe einen Traum verwirklicht. Danke!

Everything was perfect! There’s everything we needed and even more! Cozy and great place! The hosts were very responsive and attentive to our questions and feedbacks!

We used the place as a launching point for the Cabot Trail and it was perfection. April is not the best month in Cape Breton and the winds were up. The place is so solidly built that we were cozy and warm - enjoying the great fire and wonderful views. We are the rare couple that have special accessibility requirements. This place is so well done - universal and simple design. We appreciate the host taking such care to make this a welcoming place. We hope to return - maybe when we can enjoy the outdoors more comfortably - the views and natural setting are stunning. Thanks to the local team including Jennifer who brought us some additional items we needed. So friendly and hospitable. Finally, thanks for making Roxie so welcome - the dog bowls with a view - she liked is as much as Les and I did.
