The Cottage is a new house in a seventeenth century beamed one with incredible views from the garden. The balcony is perfect for morning coffee/evening drinks (weather allowing) with far reaching views over the Hampshire countryside. The annexe is adjacent to our home but is entirely private for guests' exclusive use. We will welcome you, and can answer any questions but we will also respect your privacy.

Shalbourne is a beautiful village about 3 miles from Hungerford and 8 miles from Marlborough and in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We have a friendly village pub which has a large and varied menu and a village shop which serves delicious fresh coffee and pastries. The Annexe is a comfortable twin-bedded studio set in our 2 acre garden which has far reaching views over the surrounding countryside. There are great walks and cycle rides from our front door.

The village has 2 nice pubs and a very good corner store just a few minute's walk away. The property is also only a short distance from the station for trains to Newbury/Hungerford (5 minutes), Reading (35 minutes) or London (50 minutes).
