Perched on a clifftop above southern Izu's volcanic coastline, Izu Cliff Cabin began in the 1970s as a local fisherman's hideaway, built for spectacular views. We've restored and reinvented it with care. The property sits inside a national park, with no man-made structures in sight. The bedroom, dining, and living areas all face the sea through oversized custom windows. The outdoor bath, sunken in reclaimed Meiji-era Izu stone, looks out onto two uninhabited islands. You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.
