Ásinn-Brennistaðir 4 is 90m2 house for a group of up to 7 people +crib (year 2025). The house is located in untoucted nature next to a field on Brennistaðir farm, about 20 km from Egilsstaðir in the direction to Borgarfjörður eystri. The farm is sheep farm. We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

Ideal for a quiet holiday in the countryside with beautiful hiking grounds, a geothermal hot tubs a short walk away and nature all around, and spectacular view of the northen lights during winter.

The cabins have sleeps for up to 4 guests as well as a kitchenette and a private bathroom. Every cabin has free wi-fi. Nearby, you will find beautiful hiking trails and various activities, including glacier hiking, snowmobile or jeep tours and boat tours on glacier lagoons.

You need to book this in advance at least 2 days prior. If you decide to book 2 nights you should be aware that Sænautasel functions as a guided museum from 12-17 PM.

Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.
