Our 5 wilderness cabins are uniquely hand crafted by the owner Angelo with locally and custom built beds, stained glass windows, carvings and themed iron rails. All cabins have water views from your sheltered deck and are footsteps away from a communal cook space. Our central location is a PERFECT start for day tripping around the island and you are just footsteps away from North River Kayak Tours. Black Rock Stables

If you enjoy a beautiful view, a peaceful and secluded rural setting and being surrounded by animals (wild and domestic) then this is the place for you! Black Rock Stables was built as an equestrian facility; however, the focus is now on providing small scale dog/cat boarding and the breeding of healthy and happy Scottish terriers. Even so, a few elderly equines can often be seen mowing the grass, and we now have a small petting zoo for your children to enjoy. Registration number STR2526A6090

Beach House Bras d’Or Lakes (wi-fi coming)

Centrally located just 15 min from town (North Sydney), 15 min from the Englishtown Ferry, and 20 min from the start of the Cabot Trail. Get to Ingonish in only an hour, or get to the World Famous Cabot Cliffs/Links in Inverness in 90 min. Plenty of beautiful views, great restaurants, great spots for hiking, fishing, swimming, boating etc. within the immediate area, and just 5 min from Groves Point Beach Provincial Park.

Equipped with all the amneties of home for a nice stay , 2 bedroom's included and has lots of room including 2 bathrooms with showers in each. There is Tv's in each unit with a couch to relax. Stove & fridge to cook a nice meal. The Cabot Trail is about an hour away. Newfoundland ferry is 15 mins away. There is an adjoining door in the middle that seperates the units.

Secluded yurt on the river, 7 mins to Baddeck

Meet Orange Sunshine - your own secluded yurt, right on the river. Soak in the boho vibe, enjoy a candle lit dinner made in your own kitchenette, and cozy up by the glow of the wood stove in a comfy queen bed. Complete with outdoor shower, private fire pit & outhouse. Only 7 mins to Baddeck. Walk 5 mins down a groomed trail to this incredible off-grid experience. There’s no electricity, so prepare to unplug!

Drift of the Mist

Enjoy a relaxing stay at the Drift of The Mist, a newly renovated private mini home. This home offers quick access to the Atlantic coastline. Whether you are stopping by enroute to Newfoundland (we are minutes from the ferry terminal) or wanting to stay a while, this home is for you! No pets allowed! Violation $200. per pet per stay! Fire pit use at your own risk in compliance with municipal by-law.

Point Edward Guesthouse

Our cozy guest house is located along the Point Edward Highway, but don't let the name of our street discourage you from staying. It is a lovely, quiet, rural setting, along the shores of Sydney Harbour. Very centrally located between the city of Sydney and surrounding towns. The view is calming, and can be enjoyed on the covered front deck. Be sure to catch one of the stunning sunsets during your stay!
