We enjoyed our stay at Anel’s charming rustic cottage. Loved the outdoor area and all the lush greenery. The pool table added a fun element to our night. Anel was very responsive and a great host.

Gleich nach der Buchung haben wir eine sehr nette Nachricht von Steven erhalten, unter anderem mit einer sehr exakten Wegbeschreibung. Check in war sehr flexibel, er hat uns persönlich in Empfang genommen und uns alles gezeigt, erklärt und Vorschläge für Unternehmungen gemacht. Und ich will nicht zu viel verraten, aber auch etwas selbst gebackenes von Steven hat uns das Abendessen bereichert. Vielen Dank :) Unterkunft ist sehr schön, entspricht exakt der Beschreibung. Landschaft ringsherum ist ruhig, schöne Aussicht. Sehr empfehlenswert. Besten Dank Wolf

We had a fantastic stay in Cottage 5 in mid-June, it was lovely and cosy for family of 3. The fire place kept us warm and there was so much to do on the farm to keep a little one busy, short hikes, jungle gym, safe place to ride up and down on a bicycle. We had a lovely game trip around the farm by Michael, the farm manager. Great friendly host by Michael, always keen to chat and share story's about the farm animals. We did a short trip into Swellendam dam, which was very memorable as well. We will definitely be back with more friends and family.

What a wonderful stat!! We absolutely loved the cottage feel with the quiet and remote location. The lapa/pool area was amazing and we spent happy days swimming and evening braais while stargazing. Close to stilbaai for outings and great to come back to the farm to relax. Erica and her staff were absolutely amazing, so welcoming and willing to make us comfortable in any way. Highly recommended!!

Die beiden Gastgeber Helen und Owen sind sehr herzliche Menschen, es war sehr einfach sich dort schnell wohl zu fühlen. Wir hatten das Appartment mit eigener Küche und privater Terasse. Es gibt aber auch noch eine Gemeinschaftsküche, die wir hätten nutzen können. Unsere Kutesachen konnten im Garten abgestellt und getrocknet werden. Es gibt reichlich Platz. Und da wir zu Weihnachten da waren, hatte Helek sogar noch für alle gebacken. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

From the joy of walking up to the labyrinth and witnessing a breathtaking sunset to the pure exhilaration of squealing down the foofy slide—every moment felt special. We loved hiking to the waterfall and rock pools, immersing ourselves in nature’s beauty. Our cozy rondavel felt like a warm hug after each day of adventure. The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful

The location is out of the way of our usual drive to the Suid-kaap, but with our baby boy we decided to do a stopover and drive through the valley. Can't believe we have not done it sooner. It's a piece of paradise. As heritage lover, the restoration work of the buildings on the farm are incredible, and there's an old mill with original parts. The cottage ('Old Barn') we stayed in, is so well maintained, cosy and kitted with everything you need. In the morning the chickens came to say 'hi' and we fed them some of the seeds that were provided in the cottage (they might have been meant for the birds, but the chicks were very convincing). Thank you for the lovely stay.

It’s a brilliant and peaceful place on the river. The boathouse is a great place to come with a group of friends or family. You can swim in the river or do a little bit of canoeing, which is really nice for it to be right on your doorstep. Overall, a highly recommended place where I hope to come again.

We loved this place. Beautiful views, lovely rooms and kitchen, great braai The only problem was finding the location - the point on the map in Airbnb is not correct, so please change it, so it was easier to find you

We thoroughly enjoyed our farm stay with Braham. The peaceful setting, fresh air, and quiet distance from town created a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. We'll definitely be back for a longer stay. Thank you Braham.

Has so many different spaces to utilise, from an undercover braai, to an outside braai, to an indoor fireplace. Also multiple picnic spots next to the river. Had an amazing time :)

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Pepper Tree Farm! We absolutely loved having our morning coffee on the stoep overlooking the blossoming thorn trees while sheep grazed ambled by. The farm provided us with the perfect location for a peaceful getaway. The cottage was spacious and well equipped. We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet and rustic holiday. The surrounding nature was a brilliant bonus!

Belinda is a great host. Stoepsit is exactly what we were looking for. Being away from the hustle and bustle of suburban and city life, surrounded by an amazing view and peaceful environment was food for the soul. There are a few reviews that mentioned requiring a 4x4. Getting there was quite comfortable in our Corolla Cross.

Beautiful surroundings, spacious villa Well equip kitchen with everything needed. Beds are comfortable, with fresh clean linen. Would like to stay at the other kleine windpompie accommodation. Peaceful with a stunning view. Recommended for big families.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was charming, the gardens so beautiful and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking. It was easy to walk to nearby shops and restaurants - very conveniently located. Lovely linen, comfortable matrasses and we were spoilt with the Rain toiletries in the bathroom. Thank you to our host, David, we would love to visit again!

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Kliphuis. We could switch off and relax from the moment we got there. The directions and self-checkin worked very well. The house had everything we needed, even an ice machine. As our host Jacques was not expecting any guests on the day of our departure, he offered that we could stay an extra night if we wanted to, and of course we did! It felt as if we were in the middle of nowhere, we did not see other people for our whole stay. Although the place is quite remote, its very safe and there is cellphone reception. The huge stoep with comfy coaches on wheels and one of them hanging, was such a highlight. We sat on the stoep almost the whole day enjoying nature, birdlife in/around the river below, and the amazing view of the starts at night. We were woken up by 4 owls on the stoep on our last morning, what a treat for birders. We were also fortunate that there was water in the river during a hot December.

We had a truly wonderful stay here. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm hospitality. The space was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful greenery and the many trees surrounding the house. It created such a peaceful, natural atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. Alida went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, and she was always available if we had any questions. The location was serene and perfectly situated for exploring the area. Highly recommended :) we’d love to come back!

Sionsberg is an absolute gem. The perfect place to escape city stress and corporate mayhem and just come up for air. Anita's home is magnificent - beautifully curated, high quality bed linen, well-equipped, loads of small special touches and a truly exquisite garden. She went out of her way to ensure we had a wonderful time.

What an absolutely amazing place, so peaceful and really beautiful surroundings, close to activities in Swellendam but away from the crowds. The perfect getaway with family. Lena was an absolute star.

We had the most delightful stay at Doorways. Daph is an extraordinary host and her rooms are comfortable and really well appointed. Spacious, clean, peaceful and surrounded by a beautiful garden, you really can't ask for more. We can't wait to go back.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our three weeks at Alistair’s delightful garden cottage, it is a little gem situated amongst beautiful leopard trees in a peaceful garden. It is a perfect situation, a short walk away from the shops and great coffee shops. There are lovely country walks close by and we enjoyed great hikes with beautiful mountain backdrops. Alistair, Delphine and Adin are charming and very accommodating hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them.
