We had a great time at Rocky Lodge! The lakeside setting is unmatched. We loved fishing off the dock, swimming off the dock, paddling around the bay and listening to the loons. The house and boathouse were clean and comfortable, check-in and communication were easy. We'd like to come back!

The home was great, water access was down the road. I thought it was closer. but still a great place to stay

Our stay near Otto Lake was just what we were looking for: a family get away to celebrate the holiday. While the weather kept us from our outdoor plans, we were grateful for the spacious and comfortable interior to share a massive meal and enjoy each other’s company.

Charlene was extremely responsive- low key, loved being welcomed into a cozy, family friendly environment.

It was the perfect location between the ski lodges: Snow Ridge and McCauley Mtn. The rooms were cozy and the kitchen was the perfect size for cooking dinners.

Great place to gather with friends! We had a great time. It is close to everything in town. We definitely plan to book again!!

We booked this cabin for a girls weekend getaway. It was lovely. The cabin is clean and well laid out. The kitchen area was actually a bit bigger than it looked in the pictures. The dock, the deck and the fire pit area have lots of comfortable seating to enjoy the views of the lake. Get up for the sunrise, it was beautiful. Just a short drive into Old Forge for restaurants and shopping and very close to the Bald Mountain Trailhead. Our first night we grabbed a bite at the tavern next store. The food and the service were both great! The host was very responsive and answered all our questions. I would definitely book this cabin again. Thanks for a great weekend!

A beautiful spot! We enjoyed overlooking the water at sunrise and sunset. Lucy is a wonderful host and made us feel welcome.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful, and Salvatore is a phenomenal host! We had a fantastic trip! The cabin is even cuter than the photos and we can’t wait to come back.

Jon had a wonderful little place on the water. The surrounding places that he rents out looked just as beautiful. The Boathouse we stayed in was very fun and had amazing views of the lake. Our son had a great time sitting on the dock and looking out the windows at the birds and the lake. We appreciated the comfort the Boathouse offered as well as the room and the warmth. The kitchen small but effective was nice to work in and he has several things to use for your cooking needs.

Tracy is an excellent host! Very responsive and makes you feel right at home. This was my third stay; always neat and very clean. Well equipped with everything I needed. Peaceful setting on the lake. Will definitely stay again!

This place far exceeded my expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice. Interior and exterior are beautiful,clean and very well maintained. Hosts were very responsive,gave great recommendations and treated us like family. 10 out of 10 from me and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Amazing hosts that know what they are doing.

Thanks Bethann for sharing your cabin with us ! It is a beautiful location and my favorite thing was being able to cook on the grill and eat outside enjoying the lovely lake and surroundings. I woke up the first night and got to see a shooting star from our bedroom window. We would love to come back !

What a charming cabin on the lake, it is quite rustic, but it adds to the charm. Our host Timothy was quite honest on the weather and the possibility of cold nights. But Timothy set us up for success there’s plenty of bedding to keep you nice and warm at night and wood to build a fire to fight off the cold. The kayaks were super fun.

Great location. Close to everything downtown has to offer. The house was spacious and we had a great stay.

Hands down one of the best airbnb stays and hosts! Wanted to spend my husband’s birthday at the Buddy shack and happened to mention that to Brandon before the stay. When we checked in, baked chocolate cake, ice cream, a gift bag, a birthday card and a beautiful handwritten note were waiting for us. Above and beyond doesn’t even begin to describe this gesture! And there are thoughtful touches around the house that made us feel right at home. Communication was excellent. Felt like I was chatting with a friend. Tried two restaurants that they recommended and both could give the NYC restaurants a run for their money! The property is beautiful. Enjoyed excellent weather and quiet time by the lake. Overall, I highly recommend the Buddy Shack. You will return with wonderful memories and a full heart!

Everything was exactly as described- the bathroom was spotless, we had all the kitchen supplies we needed, and Barb was quick to respond to anything we needed. The property is private and beautiful, and our favorite part was using the paddle boat on the lake. It’s close to many adorable communities and many trails of different difficulties. We would love to stay again !

Beautiful home in the Adirondacks. Plenty of space. Classic Adirondack decor and aesthetic. Very well appointed kitchen with everything you need- plus a Nespresso coffee maker! Lots of natural light in the house. Beautiful surroundings. A short walk to lake access (getting to the lake requires getting down steep stairs that may be difficult for the elderly of folks with difficulty on stairs). Lake access included access to a canoe, kayak and paddle board. Awesome game room above the garage. Yard area includes a hammock, picnic table, fire pit etc. Great place to stay for families or larger groups.

We were so excited to spend a peaceful weekend in the Adirondacks, and this is the perfect place! The living area was warm and cozy, the kitchen had everything that we needed, the bathroom was clean and updated. The seating was comfortable and the smart TV was a good size for the space. The beds were also comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful in the snow, which was plowed regularly during a two-day snow storm. We were just a few minutes drive from town, which always has lots to do. The grocery store is well-stocked and there are lots of fun shops. The host was very clear with instructions in the listing, and very accommodating while we were there. She even sent someone to make sure that we could all make it up the driveway in the snow storm (which was no problem at all for us with AWD). We wanted to go back to the cabin as soon as we got home, since we already missed the peace, quiet, and beauty. We will certainly go back again. Thank you for having us!
