Hawkesbury River: hospedarias

We had a very enjoyable two night stay. Anna is a responsive and kind host. The homemade bread was very much appreciated. The cottage is in a perfect spot for exploring the Blue Mountains. The Grand Canyon trail is lovely. It is recommended to stock up on food before arrival, particularly if you do not have a car. Katoomba Taxis provided a useful service for us. This cottage is highly recommended.

The host was very generous with breakfast provisions including toasted muesli, muffins, yoghurt, butter, milk, and coffee pods. The accommodation itself is very clean and is next to the main residence. The outlook to the bush is very nice and whilst there is some traffic noise, it does not interfere with the quiet enjoyment of the property. Would recommend to anyone who wants a few days respite only an hour or so from inner Sydney.

Clean house in good location for exploring Thirroul. We liked the walking distance to the beach and the Clean comfortable beds. Road noise however was a challenge being on the main road this of course being outside of the hosts control, just something to be aware of.

Had an amazing stay at Medowie thanks to Tania! She was friendly and gave excellent local recommendations. The guest house had all the amenities and extras in the bathroom cupboards and kitchen pantry that you might need! The place was spotless and the pool was lovely. Tania was a fantastic host and great to chat to, thinking I might book in again later in the year just to enjoy the space and her hospitality again! Highly recommend to anyone thinking of going to this area.

The accommodation was so clean and tidy, with all the features as advertised. Very spacious and in a lovely, peaceful location.

Kerry is one of the most responsive hosts I have ever known. Thanks for all the help during the stay. The cottage was so nice and tidy, and my friends were so love with the big screen in the living room and outside born-fire setting. We had a wonderful short night at Kerry’s place. And its location was also so close to the hot ballooning place, around 25mins drive away. I will 10000% definitely recommend this to my friends when they wanna have a trip to hunter valley. Shout out to Kerry and her son!!!

We had a great stay at Robin’s cabin. It was very comfortable and in a great quiet location. Walking distance to the beach!! Robin was super friendly and helpful. We would definitely return!

Mirra’s place is just lovely and we had a great stay. The sauna and hot tub were so relaxing as was the lovely yard with ambient night time lighting. The kids were able to toast marshmallows in the fire pit and we enjoyed the barn so much! It is a lovely space with many thoughtful touches. Mirva even left some Easter chocolates for the kids 💜 Thank you for a great stay in your beautiful space.

We stayed at Britt’s place for a couple of nights. It was a prefect fit for us, a family of three with a young child. The apartment with terrace is spacious and offers a lot of privacy, the kitchen is well equipped and has everything for day to day. We visited to experience Hunter Valley. A wealth of vineyards, cellar doors and fabulous restaurants and cafés are just a short drive away. We had an amazing time and will be back, when in Hunter Region!

The afternoon Mark and I arrived was very rainy, but Nic was there to help us unload our kayak and we were able to leave it securely in the garage overnight. Megan and Nic’s place was perfect for our needs. Quiet and comfortable, and close to our family gathering. In the morning we left very early, and we were very grateful for Nic’s help again. We will be back. Thank you, Megan and Nic.

Our family enjoyed the brief stay at Wally’s, it was quite and clean, well looked after place.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. Very well priced in comparison to other accommodation options, especially since it had a full kitchen with quality appliances as well as a full laundry which allowed us to wash and dry our clothes after a long road trip. The place was pristine and Jenny was so kind, letting us check out when we felt like it. She was also transparent when it came to construction works that were happening next door, before we booked, which we really appreciated. The construction really wasn’t disruptive at all and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Immaculate is how I would describe Tess’s place! Such a beautiful apartment. Everything you could possibly need. So spacious and elegantly furnished with peaceful outlook. Tess was amazing and I only wished I could have stayed longer!

Daniel was very communicative and helpful, he even managed to arrange the weather on our last day so as we could actually see the Blue Mountains

Linda's place was as described. It was in a quiet location. Will definitely recommend to friends and will stay there next time

Such a lovely getaway not too far from Sydney! The Shed is a perfectly sized cozy space with all the right essentials - we especially appreciated the breakfast provisions that were so thoughtful! Jo was very responsive and was always there to help us out when needed! The dogs were so friendly and we loved cuddling up with them. It was great having wildlife of all types all around us! We enjoyed our stay so much that we wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

Loved my stay at this Mosman gem;)! Thank you Belinda for a great stay, I really enjoyed your house and the few days I got to spend in it. Communication was great, the place felt luxurious and cozy and wish I could have stayed longer. Felt right at home! A personality touch both in decoration and in kitchen supplies etc. Two things worth mentioning that at least I didnt know beforehand; the owner lives in the back/on first floor of the house so occassionally you will hear someone/tv. The other thing is that the bathroom is- as mentioned- separate you have to go through an extra door/stairs. Both things are no reason to not book but just good to know! It didnt bother me. Book if you’ve got a chance!

Jamie and his partner Zoe were very accommodating! They had everything set up, clear instructions and provided things like shampoo and conditioner. They were also very proactive with communication. Rooms were very tidy when walking in, and the pool was perfect just to relax in. Would definitely book again! Great find.

A lovely spot near Ettalong beach. It was a lovely quiet little cabin that was the perfect base for our visit to Central NSW.

Had a perfect stay at Michele's, place was private, clean and surrounded by the beautiful lake. Michele was extremely responsive to all our requests and very flexible. Bathroom was a little outdated but could not recommend this place enough

It was my second time staying at Jason’s and I find it perfect in every way

Peaceful and convenient garden surroundings with the occasional visit from Basil the opossum!
