There is buses from the village to Sunderland and South Shields. Why not walk along the stunning coastal path to South Shields or over cleadon hills with stunning views.

Just 2 mins from the A19 motorway, so an ideal location for anyone visiting the North East for work or pleasure! This is a quiet residential location, therefore not suitable for stag/hens or similar types of bookings. Access is via a set of stairs so not suitable for anyone who requires level access. "HAY LOFT" quiet rural location, close to Durham

The Loft is located above our garage in a large garden and field totalling 8 acres. We're at the end of a farm track in the middle of the countryside, half a mile from the nearest road meaning ZERO traffic noise. The headroom is kind of tight along the two sides but, at 6 feet tall I manage okay. Perfect for two, but can easily cope with 4 people. The Loft is accessed by external concrete steps. The accommodation is not suitable for children but we've squeezed them in on occasions.

To the East we have the coastal town of Seaham Harbour, to the West we have Beamish Museum, County Durham and Northumberland
