Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Gut gefallen hat uns der private Garten und der offene geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnbereich. Natürlich war die Katze Poppy das Highlight für unsere Kinder. Poppy ist eine freundliche und pflegeleichte Katze. Die Anbindung an den Strand ist wie beschrieben wirklich super und schnell erreichbar. Ebenfalls gibt es viele Möglichkeiten Unternehmungen und Ausflüge zu machen. Es gab stets einen freundlichen und schnellen Austausch mit den Gastgebern. Es war sehr schön.

This is a beautiful and comfortable home in a quiet residential neighborhood. Ilan was a very responsive host who provided lots of information in advance of our stay, and quickly answered any questions we had. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Grote Markt area, with shops and restaurants along the way (including a large grocery store that's just a few minutes from the house). There's also a bus stop less than a minute away with buses to/from the central train station or the beaches. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back again!

Das Haus liegt in einem Bungalowpark und das Städtchen und das Meer ist per Fahrrad in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Es hat einen Whirlpool mit herrlicher Aussicht auf ein weites Feld. Hängematte, Trampolin, Spielwiese, alles ist vorhanden. An kühlen Abenden kann einfach ein Gas-Cheminée-Ofen eingeschaltet werden. Die offene Küche bietet alles was es braucht. Wir haben es sehr genossen, mit dem Fahrrad durch die Dünen zu fahren und Zeit am wunderschönen Sandstrand zu verbringen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Perfect location, unique way to stay in the city. Would highly recommend. Very different experience, of course, than a home or hotel but this makes travel more fun. Being right on the "skinny" bridge was a fantastic experience. Great for people watching or just quickly being right in the middle of everything.

Perfect location in de Pijp, close to everything and also quiet. Ella communicates clearly and is very helpful and accommodating. The apartment itself has everything you need and a wonderful combination of interior comfort and outdoor patio. Would definitely come back.

Es war unsere erste Nutzung von Airbnb. Für uns war es der perfekte Kurzurlaub in Familie. Johan hat uns schon erwartet und sehr freundlich begrüßt und das Haus gezeigt. Die Unterkunft hat sehr gut gefallen, insbesondere das Wohnzimmer mit dem Wintergarten und draußen die zwei kleinen Gartentische mit den Stühlen sowie der Steg am Wasser mit dem Sitzsack zum relaxen. Die Küche war mit zwei Kaffeeautomaten und gut ausreichenden hübschen Geschirr sowie allen notwendigen Utensil ausgestattet. In der 1. Etage waren das schicke Badezimmer und die ruhigen Schlafräume. Auch 2 Fahrräder von Johan haben wir genutzt, zwei weitere Räder haben wir von den ganz netten und hilfsbereiten Nachbarn geliehen. Im Verleih war alles ausgebucht… Unser Gastgeber Johan war für uns immer zeitnah erreichbar, hat uns sehr gute Tipps für die Sehenswürdigkeiten und zum Essen gehen gegeben. Kurzum: wir haben sehr wohl gefühlt, würden gern wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Dee was fantastic and went above and beyond to help us out when we had some issues with our rental car. His place is very unique and peaceful. Plenty of space for our group of 9 to sit together and sleep. The garden and pond were beautiful and interesting to explore. I highly recommend you stay here if you want a fun & unique AirBNB experience.

Hello, we had a warm welcome when we arrived, and Anita waited for us, because we were a little late at arriving. Very kindly to us. We are 3 older couples and we felt us immediately at home. Everything was there what we need for our stay. The most time we cooked in the good kitchen, wonderful to eat in the nice living room. The neighborhood is very silence, the northsee is 5 km away, haarlem 2,3 km. We really enjoyed our stay. Rainer

Tessa has a lovely house, very comfortable, spotless and very well located. Tessa is very friendly and she has done everything possible to make our stay as good as possible. Bikes are available for all and there is even tennis table. In a nutshell, we had a fantastic time in Haarlem.

We enjoyed our vacation at Kim‘s home very much. We had enough space and all rooms are beautiful furnished. The little garden was also a nice place to sit and relax after a day at the beach or a walk through beautiful city of Haarlem.

Inge’s place is thoughtfully decorated and cozy! Our kids loved playing in her beautiful garden and my older daughter loved playing the piano in the living room. We also loved that there were two playgrounds nearby so our 4 and 9 year old had fun playing. Her place was convenient to the bus stop, a local restaurant, local grocery, all under a 10 min walk. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. It gave us a taste of living in the suburbs of Amsterdam. Her son, Sammie, was responsive to my questions as was Inge. Our family had a great time! Thanks again, Inge and family! One thing to note and totally not host’s fault is that the staircase is winding and a bit narrow. When having young kids that are not used to such stairs, it was a little tricky at times.

This is the best air bnb we have stayed in. The house was impeccable - clean, comfortable and we felt completely at home. This is a family home but there was no clutter or anything else that would make you feel you were impinging on someone’s personal items. The area is fab - close to the beach, which we visited, and 2 mins to the train station for trains to central Amsterdam in 15 mins. There is a local bakery, butcher, lovely ice cream shop and big supermarket 2 mins walk away. It is 5 mins on the train to Haarlem which is huge - lots of small boutique shops and chain shops. The area is lovely - really safe and quiet. Jan-Kees is the most amazing host. He is so responsive - we set up a what’s app and he always replied instantly. He had so many tips for where to eat and where to go. We will be back to visit those places we missed. The children loved the cat and the chickens! Thank you Jan-Kees and family for all your help and for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home ☺️

A quick ride from Amsterdam Central to a small harbor off the Main Street. Walkable to all the main attractions in Central Amsterdam and an easy spot to catch an Uber if you want to go further. The houseboat was as described on a quiet dock with friendly neighbors and two awesome houseboat cats Bo and Skipper. This was especially important since we were in town when Kings Day occurred and after a walk around the festivities, it was nice to retire from the craziness and relax on top of the houseboat. The host met us onboard walked us through everything and provided easy contact information for use during our stay. Check-out was a breeze. A great find and a great value!

Perfect for a family stay, we had 3 generations staying. Spaces to share, and separate bedrooms to retreat. Convenient to Tram stop, market and restaurants

A cozy beautiful place outside Amsterdam. The pool, the jacuzzi and the green space give you the perfect place to start and end your day after long walks in the crowded Amsterdam. We had to use Uber to go from and to Amsterdam which ended up costing us around 30-35€ per ride. There are instructions about public transport but when we checked online it would take about an hour to commute (we’re thinking maybe we checked at times where the bus was unavailable since the instructions from the host said it would take shorter). The pool and the jacuzzi would definitely benefit from bit more cleaning since the water was bit cloudy. Still, overall , absolutely worth it and we enjoyed our stay.

Die Wohnung von Liesbeth befindet sich in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet im Norden von Amsterdam. Man ist in 12 Minuten zu Fuß an der kostenlosen Fähre, die den ganzen Tag über zur Central Station fährt. Dadurch ist man flexibel und gut angebunden zum Zentrum. Direkt vor dem Haus ist ein Parkplatz. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und hell, man hat sogar einen kleinen Garten am Fließ und es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer auf 3 Etagen. Im offenen Erdgeschoss gibt es einen gemütlichen Wohnbereich und einen großen Esstisch für gemütliche Zusammenkünfte mit der Familie. Alles funktioniert und war super sauber. Wir waren zu viert in Liesbeths Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen!

We had a truly wonderful stay on Laura’s boat. It was perfect for two people - quiet and private, yet close to all of the excitement of Amsterdam. It was so fun to live like a local on a boat house for a few days! It is a boat, so spaces are small, and if that bothers you, you need to choose somewhere else. But if you want the experience of living on a boat for a few days, you will love this place. Definitely rent the bicycles from Laura! If you haven’t seen Holland by bike, you haven’t seen Holland. We loved this place. I really hope we have the chance to go back someday.

We really enjoyed our family stay. The house was great, and it was exciting to stay in the harbour. The location was very peaceful, away from the centre of Amsterdam, but well connected by tram. As it's a family home, there was lots of stuff in the house, which limited storage space a bit, but that made it feel more like a home than a rental house and meant the kitchen was very well equipped. Would recommend.
