We loved our long weekend stay at the Lochen House! Our pups loved the yard, as did we. The hot tub, rowboat, and dome were the cherry on top. Such a fun stay. We also made time to visit Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Leland. The location was very convenient. However, the noise from the conveniently located main roadway, US31, was pretty loud. This of course is clearly mentioned by Jeff and in others’ reviews, but it is worth mentioning again as it slightly took away from the peaceful feel of the rest of the property. The value is there though. The house itself was clean and tidy. It had everything we could have needed and we really appreciated the grill. Overall, it was a great stay and we hope to be back in the future! 😃

My husband & I rented Melissa's cottage for a weekend getaway to Traverse City. It was so peaceful & the home was just as described/pictured. The gifts left for us were delicious & made us feel very welcome. The hot tub was perfect for cold mornings & evenings. The cottage was clean & decorated lovely (LOVE all the books!). We feel we chose the perfect rental for our weekend! Leelanau county has a lot to offer & more than we realized! We wine tasted on Old Mission Peninsula near Traverse City, but apparently there were nice wineries even closer - & one just a couple miles down the road from this rental! The heat worked well and the fireplace was such a nice touch for the winter. I'm so glad it's usable! Thank you again for sharing your cottage with us!

My husband and I love the Leelanau peninsula and try to go up once in the spring before the craziness and once in the fall each year. Tiffany’s place did not disappoint. The property its self was magical, private, and everything as described. The location was 5 stars for what we enjoy - Leland, Suttons Bay, Northport, Glen Arbor and all in between! Would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Wonderful place to stay, this place had everything and worked great for our bachelorette party group of 14! Everything was clean and neat, easy to find a use, and Barb was very helpful with any question we had! Traverse city was an easy 20 minute drive. The farm animals were fun to have around as well! We loved it and highly recommended this place!

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. The house is in a quiet area with easy parking and views and an easy walk to the bay. Check-in was simple, with Kate providing great instructions for the keypad to let ourselves in. The house was cozy with all amenities as described, and we felt right at home. All the Traverse City attractions were easy to get to, and Kate provided great recommendations. We had an awesome time and would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time in Traverse City and would totally stay again! The place is wonderful, homey, and comfortable. The roof deck is awesome, with a lovely view of the bay. Bob was always available if need be and they left a darling cherry themed gift basket upon our arrival. We’d definitely stay again. Great location with proximity to other lakeside towns for day trips and the crystal clear bay right across the street.

Marvelous, The stay at Yana's condo was marvelous. Clean, Efficient and peaceful. with a wonderful " winter wonderland" view. Yana was very helpful and responsive, and I felt right at home during my stay. Thank you again!

My girlfriend and I were so happy with Jeff. We had a bit of an unconventional trip, booking it last minute, but he was very welcoming and friendly! Then, we had a freak accident with the fire pit with our dog which ended with the trip being ended early and an emergency vet visit. Not only was Jeff accommodating for the early check out, but he is replacing the fire pit for a safer alternative. While it wasn’t a great weekend, the house was nice for what we were using it for and Jeff was a pleasure to work with.

We enjoyed a great stay at Taylor’s house. It was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. All beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We walked to the beach almost every day and hung out on the deck in the evenings. We appreciated the gating that was available for the deck to keep it safe for our 3 toddlers, and everyone enjoyed making s’mores around the fire ring. We found everything we needed in Sutton’s Bay and Traverse City, including an excellent Children’s Museum that came in handy one rainy day. All 9 of us agreed that Taylor’s would be a great place to come back to again!

Probably the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. John and his wife were kind and quick to respond to our questions. While they live on the property, we did not see them at all during our stay. The water front makes it extremely enjoyable and the lake is quiet. They checked in with us and always made sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back to this rental, hopefully for longer next time!

Great host! We enjoyed our stay. Awesome location. We’ve stayed in TC many time and this is our favorite. We hope to stay with Fernando again in the future. Thanks for making us feel at home!

We had a great stay at Jo’s place. Jo was super responsive and the place was very intimate. The highlight is the cute outdoor patio with a fire pit and party lights. The space is perfect for a couple + a pet (my recommendation) who is looking to explore TC and retire for the night at this location as there is no Kitchen (only a microwave and mini fridge). Overall well maintained and clean and a central location in Traverse City.

Wonderful hosts and great spot with views of the lake out our window. Plenty of necessaries on hand for our family.

This is a gem!! Loved our stay. Perfect location to wineries, restaurants, shopping, and beach! Great farm and open areas to walk our dogs. Definitely will be back!!

We appreciated the local chips and beer and special dog cookie. This is a great spot and we are thankful it is dog friendly.

Very nice clean unit with a partial view of the lake. Second floor with easy access to the elevator.

This place was perfect for my family of five. Right on the bay with the ability to walk to water sport rentals. Close to restaurants. Wonderful stay and hope to stay here again!

My family and I had a great time at Tammy's place in Unit G2. The place was exactly as described, including the rollaway beds in each bedroom that were plenty comfortable for my kids to use. The place was clean and check-in and check-out were easy. Thank you for a great stay!

The property was very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. Tammy was available by phone and text in case we needed anything, but we didn’t, as everything was in order for our stay.

Clean!! The set up of the bedrooms and baths worked great for our trip. Beds and furniture were great. One thing we did not find was a scissors in the kitchen. Climbed Sugar Loaf Mountain and took in some great views.

We enjoyed a fun family getaway in TC & would definitely stay in this condo again. The beach location was perfect. Being located on the Main Floor allowed easy access to/from the beach. The Condo was spacious, clean, and homey. It was close enough to downtown for dining, charter fishing & shopping. The heated pool & hottub were a fun amenity when the air temp cooled down. But otherwise, the beautiful beach was the family favorite. We look forward to visiting again next summer!

Tammy is a truly special person who made sure our visit was memorable. Unit was clean and beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels, blankets and parking at the door. We only cooked breakfast, but kitchen seems to be well appointed with pots and pans. Lots of plates, wine glasses and coffee mugs. Do bring your own coffee. I highly recommend!

Looking forward to staying here again! The location of this property was great. Very comfortable stay with plenty of room for four people.
