Aboyne Cottage—Peaceful Oasis in Quiet Cul-De-Sac

Pluck lemons from the tree and pick herbs from the planters for use in a tasty dish to enjoy in the cool and shaded courtyard. The bright and airy cottage interior has high vaulted ceilings, together with a selection of books and magazines to read to enjoy in the bed made up with 400TC luxury linen. Battery backed up Wi-Fi and additional lights for surviving load shedding. No smoking allowed on property. Guests have own cottage with a private, shady courtyard. Herbs in planters in courtyard and dart board are available for guests to use as well as lemons on own lemon tree. We're an international family consisting of a South African, a New Zealander and a Norwegian. One of us will always be available on our phones and we're happy to chat and share a G&T on our porch if our guests are up for it! This guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood, about 15 minutes by car from town and near to vibrant Harfield. Closer still, the village offers a farm stall, butchery, and supermarket within a short walk, plus coffee shops and lots of restaurants. We always recommend uber for short term stays in Cape Town but there is an off-street sheltered parking available if needs be. 10 minute walk to Kenilworth train station and 2 minute walk from Main Road with frequent taxi buses in both directions. Servicing of cottage and laundry can be done on request. Continental breakfast can be provided on request.

Lovely room (3 other similar rooms) with en-suite bathrooms, and large comfortable beds. Quiet and central neighbourhood, not far from the bustle of downtown Cape Town, and many of the fantastic Cape Town sights. *10 mins from CT Airport ($6 Uber) *12 mins from Kirstenbosch *15 mins from Cape Town V&A TV including Netflix & Disney plus.

Cottage 54 is a one bedroom studio cottage on the property of a house in upper Bakoven/Camps Bay. Fully private terrace and separate entrance from the road. Equipped with a queen size bed, sofa, table & chairs, bathroom, shower, and kitchenette. Interior is light, modern and with a Scandinavian touch. 5-7 minute walk to Bakoven Beach, and 10-12 min walk to Camps Bay beach with all the restaurants, bars & coffee shops. Off street parking and private entrance. 2 min walk to a Superette.

All yours: lounge, kitchen, work and eating area; TV with Netflix; large bedroom, en suite shower. No garden access. We welcome guests from all backgrounds.

Perfect for nature lovers, hikers and beachcombers.

Enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by a green belt and mountains. Central to lots of activities such as hikes/walks, wine farms, local restaurants and shops. We have many pets on the property, 4 friendly dogs which is, 1 ridgeback, 1 Labrador and 2 medium mixed breeds, 3 cats and 2 bunnies. It is very family friendly, but also perfect for a relaxing getaway. There is parking on the premises. Regarding safety, we have a security guard on our road.

The Owl House - Mountainside bungalow, Muizenberg

Sleep in the trees in a unique retreat overlooking False Bay. Perched on the Muizenberg Mountain-side, the Owl House offers guests a unique garden stay with a distinct tree-house feel and is a short walk away from the buzz of Muizenberg village and its famous beachfront. The self-contained 30m2, solar-powered bungalow is separate from the main house, with a kitchenette, work and dining space, & uncapped fibre, making it perfect for WFH.

Glass doors open up onto a beautiful quiet back garden and there is secure parking on site. Being only 2.5km's from Old Mutual, 3km's from Vincent Pallotti and 12km's from Cape Town International Airport my place is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers alike.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. At Safe and Sound Guesthouse, you can be certain of a peaceful rest. Our Guest flat is located conveniently between the Stellenbosch wineglass and the Cape Town City centre. It is also conveniently near many takeaway stores (McDonald's, KFC, Steers, etc), easy access for Uber eats and also convenient grocery stores that you can order online and also visit.

Blackwood Studio

A modern and beautifully decorated house, nestled in Hout Bay, with magnificent views of the mountain. This is a great place for singles or a couple. There is a queen bed that sleeps up to 2. Power outages are being experienced by SA but we have tried to minimalise the effect for our guests - the oven/stove is gas, the hot water is gas, the internet is solar driven and we have 2 battery lights for guests use.

Kai Cottage

Kai Cottage is a contemporary, stylish, light & relaxing space located in the beautiful neighbourhood of Constantia Hills. It is a self-catering 1 bed studio apartment with a shower bathroom, a well-fitted kitchen, a comfy lounge and a private balcony/garden courtyard. It is best suited for professionals and couples. It is an open plan area, therefore recommended for a maximum of 2 adults.
