A very comfortable bed and breakfast in a sleepy coastal town. My mom and I stayed here for one night before catching the ferry to Tangier. The room was well-sized with a small private bath. Breakfast in the morning was thoughtful, tasty and served with a side of good conversation.

We loved our stay at Marl Inn. Amy and Paul are wonderful hosts and make an amazing breakfast. The room was very comfortable, we opened the fench doors and listened to the birds as we drank our coffee. Ww had dinner at the Yorktown Pub, a short walk from our room. We will back.

We loved our stay in the Anderson Room and enjoyed the amazing breakfast/coffee. My husband and I also loved having great conversation with tom. He shared some great insight about Williamsburg and you can see his love for the area. We definately will be back!

We had a lovely visit to Back INN Time. The hosts were friendly and made our stay wonderful. We were greeted with freshly baked cookies and enjoyed a very well-appointed room with an en suite bathroom, luxurious thread count sheets, and other nice touches like chocolates and a magnifying makeup mirror by the sink. The breakfast was indescribably amazing. Absolutely one of the best breakfasts I can ever remember having at a bed-and-breakfast. The location was easily accessible to the center of Kilmarnock. We would definitely return.

I enjoyed my stay at the Williamsburg Sampler. Becky, the inn keeper, made delicious breakfasts every day and made me feel very at home. love that the place is dog friendly and enjoyed the 15-20 min walk to Colonial Williamsburg and the William & Mary old campus.

This is an excellent location close to William & Mary College as well as the cute shops in Williamsburg. On-Street parking was easily available and Laura provides a parking tag. The room was on the smaller side but very cozy, and Laura went out of her way to accommodate us, as we originally had booked just one night but decided to stay for two. She moved us to an available room for our two-night stay. And the gourmet breakfast both mornings was outstanding. We will definitely return when we go back to visit Williamsburg.

Beautiful home. Very interesting decor from all over the world. Room and bed very comfortable. Host was very flexible with us for later check out as we were picking up our daughter from William & Mary little later in the afternoon/work calls etc. Lovely breakfast and warm atmosphere. We felt very much at home. Hope to come back again at some time.

The cedars is a lovely, Georgian house, faithful to the period of Colonial America. The gardens are beautiful. The service is welcoming and attentive. The accommodation is comfortable and within easy walking distance of old town Williamsburg. The art in the house is of the period, including 17th C prints and impressions of the Native Americans by the early English settlers, and of the British soldiery of the Revolutionary period, graced by a print of HM King George III reviewing his troops… and an original painting of William IV, no doubt then Duke of Clarence. Host Alex is a charming wit and raconteur… and an excellent cook! The breakfast was well balanced nutritionally and tasty. Much Kudos to Alex’s avocation as a host.
