We had such a great stay! The property was perfect for our family getaway—our kids especially loved the trampoline and the hot tub (they barely wanted to come inside!). Our Doberman, Lincoln, had the best time playing fetch in the large open space—it was such a treat to find a spot that’s truly dog-friendly. Melissa was a delightful host—super responsive and thoughtful. She even set up a fun scavenger hunt for the kids to find hidden gnomes around the property, which they absolutely loved. It’s little touches like that that made our stay really special. We’d love to come back again. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay. This house has beautiful grounds with lots of giant trees and beautiful landscaping. Very quiet but close to Auburn.

Ashley’s place was exactly as pictured. Beds were comfy, house was spotless and the backyard was very relaxing. I have two small suggestions - as other reviewers had said - a door to the master bedroom or a curtain for privacy would be appreciated. Also, cleaning supplies for the kitchen and bathroom would be recommended. We cooked at the house both nights and we had nothing to wipe down the counters. Other than that, enjoy your stay at Ashley’s place.

this home is truly an escape. the minimalist and modern decor feel soothing and peaceful. we loved waking up with the sunlight filtering through the beautiful trees surrounding the home. we appreciated how clean and welcoming the place felt. we were just traveling through and didn't get to explore the area but just enjoying the restful home makes us want to go back.

Cute charming home! It was 20minutes from the casino which was fun! Local bars were fun too! Host was extremely reachable and helpful! The bed was comfortable which was a nice plus! Loved the blue tooth light in the bathroom and open shower! Would book again for sure!

The house is huge (bigger than the photos represent) and great for big groups! 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms is fantastic for multiple families. BR2-4 have queen beds, BR5's sofa is a sofa bed. BR6 is a huge bedroom with couches, a big TV, and a king bed (from the photos I guessed BR6 would be some converted open loft area, but it has its own door and the windows all have pulldown shades for a proper bedroom). The first floor has BR5 and 1.5 baths and the kitchen/living areas. The second floor has five bedrooms, 2 full baths, and BR3 master has its own additional full bath. There's a long loop driveway that can fit many cars, but be careful if there's snow on the steep sections. We stayed here to go to Soda Springs and Boreal for skiing (a little over a half hour away). The downstairs and upstairs have separate Nest thermostats for HVAC control. The house is great value (compared to places in Tahoe proper). The host is very responsive. Highly recommended!

This back unit of the duplex gave my family & I the peace and quiet we needed! Off the bat, Alicia the host was welcoming, friendly and excellent in answering my concerns about the house being a duplex with occupants in the next unit. I was worried about noise level. In truth, we didn’t hear or see anyone from arrival to departure. Large screen tv made movie night fun, as well as game night with provided board games. Check out chores was only to load dishwasher, collect used towels and take out trash. The steep driveway, the neighbors and being close to the road weren’t an issue for us. The pool and jacuzzi put us on chill & relax mode upon arrival.

This was the perfect place for a group. We celebrated Christmas in the 4 bed 2 bath country home. We loved the fire pit and natural surroundings. Everything was spotless and high quality. Huge laundry room and most of the rooms are large. Oscar’s hospitality was excellent and we couldn’t be happier. A good value if you want to get away in the Northern California countryside.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is clean and has nice accomodations and games for families. The host is very responsive and helpful as well.

I am from the area, but had to leave my home on short notice due to an emergency. I booked my stay within a day of my arrival and Andrea was responsive and understanding. Additionally, I have physical disabilities and Andrea and Todd both made sure the location was as accessible as they could make it even on such short notice (e.g., moved some tables and chairs out of the path ahead of time so I'd be able to get to the entrance with my walker more easily). Throughout my stay, Andrea and Todd were both very accommodating and more than willing to offer help with anything I needed. Additionally, communication is prompt and concise, and they are readily available when needed. Also, they have a tangerine tree, so if you are here in tangerine season, you may find yourself receiving many tangerines! They truly go above and beyond for their guests and I highly recommend their home to anyone looking to visit the Sacramento area.

It was a wonderful and peaceful stay, with most attractions within walking distance. We were a bit nervous about relying on street parking when returning late at night, but we were fortunate to find a spot on the first day, and on the following days, there were multiple spots available.

The cottage was lovely. Danika was very welcoming. We will definitely be back with a big group and take advantage of all the cute cottages that Danika has. Coloma is a cute little town, some good option for breakfast/lunch and dinner and we had a great time rafting. Loved everything about it!

We enjoyed staying at Kirsten’s B&B it was easy to find. We loved the beautiful grounds surrounding the cottage. The cottage had a nice fenced in yard with chairs to sit and enjoy the early morning. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. On our next trip to the area we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you, Catherine

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a mountain biking getaway and absolutely loved it! The home was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and welcoming. One of our favorite parts was the beautiful outdoor lighting at night, which created a magical atmosphere among the trees. The location couldn’t be more convenient, and check-in was quick and seamless. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon!

This stay was absolutely the most beautiful and serene experience ever. Me and my partner felt so welcomed by Leif and felt so grateful to have a nice atmosphere and host! We can’t wait to come back!

Had a really lovely stay with my sons. The cabin was very clean and tidy. Check-in and out was easy and the location is beautiful. Definitely recommend.

Was a great place to spend a short spring break with the grandparents!

We didn’t have an AWD vehicle so we couldn’t make it up the hill, so we did park at the bottom- which was a little difficult. Had to make a couple trips and it is a decent walk especially in the rain and mud. Just make sure you are prepared for a walk or bring a vehicle that can handle big ruts and really muddy roads! (Not the hosts fault by any means and they clearly state that you need an AWD car in details!) The outdoor bathtub was frickin amazing! I felt like I was at a spa retreat. We loved this cozy cabin. Bed was comfy, things were clean, and everything was straightforward and easy to use. Kitchen had a rather miscellaneous selection of utensils and such so I’d suggest keeping it simple for meals. We went on a short walk around the property and came back with quite a few ticks. So that was not fun, but also not anyone’s fault. All in all- would absolutely 10/10 recommend staying here! I wish I could live there!

We did a mini staycation for Spring Break and had a very relaxing time! We didn’t need to go anywhere after we bought groceries. This place has everything! Hot tub, fire pits, tons of board games, arcade! My 2 boys, 15 and 11 had a blast and my husband and I got to take it all in and relax as well. Highly recommend!! I had some questions here and there and Misti would answer them lickity split! Awesome host!

Excellent place. Quiet and private location right on a river. Perfect for a family or small group. The kids loved the games and playing by the river. The adults loved being close to lots of wineries and unwinding in the hot tub. The place was clean and well appointed.

We all loved the house, the surroundings, and peaceful/quiet setting. It was comfortable, clean, well stocked, etc. Everything regarding our stay was A+! The pool table was a big hit too.
