Situated just 10 miles northwest from historic Oxford, and just a 20 minute walk from Blenheim Palace and a 10 minute drive to the pretty market town of Woodstock, this is the ideal place to stay and explore the Cotswolds and surrounding countryside. There is a spacious en suite bedroom with a king size bed, sitting room and fully equipped kitchen including grind coffee machine. The cottage is attached to the main house, but is totally self-contained. There is onsite parking and fast broadband. We provide a complimentary welcome pack, including eggs from our Burford brown chickens and honey from the garden apiary.

The accommodation is fully equipped and is ideal for a family of 3 or 3 young people . 1 double bed & 1 pull out single . ( open plan space) Explore the Cotswolds, Blenheim Palace & Oxford, Charlbury station 10 mins drive . 20 mins to Soho Farmhouse, Diddly squat, Bicester Village designer outlet. NOTE The Coach house is up stairs.

Little Chestnut Cottage

Situated in a quiet location in the village of Stonesfield, Little Chestnut Cottage is a charming self-contained base from which to explore the Cotswolds and local attractions in the Oxford area such as Blenheim Palace. The cottage is just over an hour away from London yet surrounded by beautiful countryside and there are plenty of walks straight from the door across the picturesque Evenlode valley. Shakespeare’s Stratford is less than an hour away if you want to go a little further afield.

Self-contained Annex

Our self contained annex is on two floors with a separate entrance. The ground floor has a kitchen and dining space, with fridge/freezer, cooker & washing machine together with the basic cooking utensils, crockery & cutlery. The first floor contains the large bedroom and en-suite shower room. There is a standard double bed, wardrobe, desk & chair. WiFi is provided. Situated at the entrance to a quiet cul- de-sac there is a bus stop outside and the train station is a 15 minute walk away.

Garden Annex/Cabin: country view: long/short stays

Private entrance, workspace/Wi-Fi, parking, lovely countryside view, includes breakfast provisions. A comfortable base for working professionals or those travelling/sightseeing. Underfloor heating ensures your comfort in colder weather. Sofa-bed not made up by default, advise in advance if needed. Estelle Manor 1.5 miles, Woodstock/Blenheim Palace/Witney 5 miles, Kidlington 7 miles, Oxford 10 miles & Bicester Village is located fairly nearby. Cheltenham/Newbury Racecourses 35 miles.

The Crofts Studio (Central Location)

The Crofts Studio is very "bijou"...a lovely small but perfectly formed annexe, with its own entrance and off street parking. We have a standard double bed, very comfortable for a solo traveller and cosy for a couple... Our place is complete with en-suite shower room (with washing machine and dryer) and a compact kitchenette area with breakfast bar and stools…. We are very central with close transport links and the A40 is on the doorstep to explore Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds

Charming studio flat on the edge of the Cotswolds

A sunny, self-contained studio flat with its own entrance, outdoor seating and off-road parking situated in a quiet village on the edge of the Cotswolds. There's a Roman villa around the corner and Blenheim Palace down the road with wonderful footpaths through the woods and surrounding countryside. Keen walkers, cyclists, sightseers and visitors who just want to relax, will all find this a perfect base for visiting West Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds. Minimum two night stay.

Being period it has all the lovely features you would expect from a cottage of this age including a lovely inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove and exposed ceiling beams in the sitting room and dining room. When you are in the cottage you could be anywhere as it is so peaceful.
