Walking, cycling, mountain biking and off-road motor cycling all within minutes of the front door.

Alba Cottage, 26 Wilcot, is a charming, Grade II Listed, 3 bedroom thatched cottage in the picturesque village of Wilcot (in the Pewsey Vale an Area of outstanding natural beauty). The large garden has a hidden gate onto the green behind. 4mins from Pewsey station (London 1 hr) but surrounded by picturesque walks and cycle routes in the North Wessex Downs and Savernake Forest. Down a little no through lane this self contained annexe to our house is on the Monarch's Way in a quiet, rural position just 3 miles from the cathedral city of Salisbury. The River Bourne runs close by. The ground floor annexe has a modern but peaceful bedroom with en-suite shower, separate kitchen/living area with double doors on to the patio & a sitting room with sofa bed. Parking for one or two cars. Convenient for anyone working at Porton Down & is 10 minutes from Salisbury by car.

Enjoy countryside walks in the beautiful surroundings or explore the mystical Avebury, the market town of Marlborough or the pretty villages along the Kennet and Avon Canal. At the end of the day cozy up in front of the log burner or spend the evening in one of the local pubs or restaurants.

In a charming village, and our own one acre mature garden, the room has its own private elevated deck with a table and chairs. There are 2 pubs approx 10 min walk, and another in next village about 2 miles away.

With 3 ensuite bedrooms, and set within a beautiful thatched walled garden, Enford House Cottage is the perfect place for a relaxing break in the countryside and also within easy reach of tourist attractions including Stonehenge, Avebury, Longleat, Salisbury, Marlborough, Bath and Oxford. In the village of Enford, the cottage is the attached wing of an 18th Century manor house - comfortable beds, good quality bed linen, TV's in all rooms and games room.

Pewsey is situated between Stonehenge and Avebury and we are only 7 minutes walk from the railway station amid a wealth of outstanding countryside. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance in fact a car is not at all essential to your stay. Our little artists hideaway is a unique space full of quirky artworks in a garden of sculptures. It is very comfortable, warm and private and has easy access to all the amenities of the village.
