Nice house in good location for the planned trip

The house was perfect with plenty of space for the family. Great communication from Michelle. I had a few questions and everything was responded to with clear instructions. Lovely village feel to the immediate area.

I booked this gorgeous house for a reunion of old school friends (and dog!) and it was honestly perfection- ALL the rooms are gorgeous with en suites (so there were no sorry souls who arrived late and got stuck in less the desirable room as so often happens!), we had all we needed to cook in one night and plenty of space to sit inside and outside. The garden is so absolutely stunning and perfect for our dog as it’s secure. We also did several stunning walks nearby (all with a pub on route!) and have a lovely meal out just 10 min drive away. All in all, I couldn’t recommend enough and we will defo be back- already talk of an annual gathering at this spot!

This house is absolutely beautiful, so characterful and charming with the most gorgeous grounds and gardens. Jo was an amazing host and so helpful in advance of our trip, providing lots of tips and ideas for things to do in the area. We were 3 families with small children and she provided 2 travel cots and 3 high chairs - brilliant! We will definitely be coming back. The children fed the alpacas, ducks and chickens and played all weekend in the glorious garden.

Good accommodation in a beautiful area, very quiet, perfect for a " getaway." Accommodation was very clean.

We were pleased to find accommodation available where we could all stay and have a bed, have our second Christmas Day and generally be together with lots of space. Having the pool to enjoy was a particular bonus as most of us enjoy the water.

Had a great stay. Comfy bed, great location and Wendy was helpful with local amenities . Will be back for sure

Clean, brighf,restful and perfect for a family of 3 plus dog. We love the history of the place and its character, as well as the view. Beds really comfortable which is a big win from us

An absolute gem! Cosy cottage with a magical private garden. Such a peaceful spot perfect for relaxing by the warmth of the chimenea under the stars. Loved the atmospheric boatyard & great pub on your doorstep. Surrounding suffolk has loads to offer - great walks, great food, farm shops & more. A perfect weekend getaway. This was a multi purpose trip which included some R&R. The property met all our needs perfectly; it is spacious and really well equipped - beyond the usual. A real 'home from home'. Gorgeous garden. Lovely long weekend at Louie property very comfortable and dog friendly was a bonus! Bungalow was very spacious and fully equipped with everything you need plus lovely garden and seating area, close to all amenities and lovely dog walks, Louie was available at all times and full of great recommendations for restaurants etc will definitely be back!

We spent a very happy Christmas at the house visiting relatives in the area. The house is well appointed and extremely comfortable - though you do need to be a fan of soft beds (which I am). Everything worked and was scrupulously clean. The only problem we had was that the fuse for the cooker and oven had been tripped before we arrived but there was a rapid response to our (panicky) phone call and we were able to locate the fuse board. The area only has one small shop but it's a fairly quick walk or train ride to the town. Overall very nice stay and we had lots to do around Southend including the pantomime and the Helen Mirren phone box / museum! Worth a quick look. (I think it was on the corner of Alexander Road and Cashiobury Terrace). Anyway, thank you.

Lovely stay it was easy to check in and only a few mins drive to the beach. We brought our dog and it was very peaceful wish we could have stayed longer

Quite simply the best Air b&b we have ever stayed in. I have OCD and I am very picky about staying in clean places, but my goodness this place is spotless! It feels like your own home, it’s so comfortable. It’s modern and finished to a very high standard, with everything you can think off. I would 100% stay here again. The area is excellent for getting around Suffolk and felt safe. Communication was easy and quick. I wish all Air b&b owners got it this right. Well done Neil!
