The cottage is located on our 80 acre farmstead in the bucolic rolling hills of Western Wisconsin just over an hour from the Twin Cities. Relax, create, or dream in this peaceful setting. Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

Our cottage is snuggled amongst recreational hotspots, walking distance to the beach, 2 miles from beautiful Afton MN (state park, downhill skiing), 4 miles from Hudson WI (shopping, dining, boat cruises, live music), 15 minutes from historic Stillwater. This small but comfortable home has amenities galore, is nestled on a double lot just 2 blocks from the river & 1 block away from a popular biking/walking trail. Sleeps 5 people comfortably. Unpaved driveway with ample parking for 2 vehicles.

Adventure Time

The Guest Suite is on the lower level of the home. Perfect for overnight, weekend, and short-term guests in mind. Surrounded by Frontenac State Park, enjoy the quiet or head out for an adventure. A clean open space with all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The home is a quick drive to either Red Wing or Lake City all though I live in country on gravel road . It's a scenic 45-minute drive to Rochester. Head down the road and enjoy Lake Pepin. Bring your water toys and enjoy the day

Luxury Barn Cottage and Villa at Hope Glen Farm

The Corn Crib Cottage Barn or Villa is a luxurious and rustic 1100 square foot space. The Corn Crib originally used to dry corn and animal housing. This is a very rare historical building built in the 1920's The villa has a 2 person whirlpool jacuzzi , rain shower, beautiful full kitchen, fireplace and next to the 550 acre Washington County Cottage Grove Ravine regional park reserve. Fall brings beautiful brilliant color. Winter brings cross county skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, and hiking. A treasure for nature enthusiasts. Natural setting with woods, deer, birds, turkeys.

Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. For larger groups we have another cottage on airbnb called the Trout Haus. Check on Airbnb or contact us regarding renting both houses.

Bogus Valley Holm Country/Farm Pepin/Stockholm

Come to the country and enjoy lodging at quiet Bogus Valley Holm. Located in picturesque Bogus Valley between Pepin and Stockholm Wisconsin. This vintage home was built in the mid 1850s and has old world character architecture with the comforts of modern day amenities. The southern exposure enclosed front porch is the favorite gathering spot for most everyone that has stayed in the home. This 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath property has potential for sleeping up to 8 guests.

Beautiful, beautiful cabin. Nested in the middle of the Porcupine Valley, this cabin is a place for you to find rest and relaxation. Sitting on the front porch and listening to the birds is probably the best part of the cabin. Attractive flower beds, large yard, spacious interior, pond, and creek. Back porch, front porch, and upper balcony. Great for a family getaway or a low-key long weekend away from the city.

Enjoy one of a kind views of the St. Croix River and River Valley while being just minutes to downtown Hudson, 20 minutes to Stillwater, and 40 minutes to the Twin Cities. Driveway may be icy in the winter months so please plan accordingly. Note: Max occupancy is 3 persons. No parties or pets please.

Spacious Country Studio/Loft

Our spacious 900 sq. ft. studio/loft was once the art studio used by a local children’s book illustrator. You will notice some of her artwork and photos displayed throughout. The studio was designed with the intention of accommodating 2– 4 people. Our studio is beautiful, peaceful and private. Extra sanitizing practices are being taken for your safety.
