This bnb was super nice and clean. Exactly like the description. Hot tub was a plus. I’d love to stay again in the summer to enjoy the lake.

What a slice of Paradise - this location is a hidden gem. From the incredible views to the top of the line hot tub…this property begs to be shared with family and friends. The custom fire pit is incredible. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. The lighting being hooked up to Alexa is genius - I’ve rented too many properties where you just don’t know what switches go to what lights. This removed the guess work…especially upon arrival if it is dark! The lake is pristine and peaceful. Perfect for families or friends that want to relax and rejuvenate. I will 100% be back!! There are so many options for vacationers these days…I’m grateful I made the choice to stay here!!! Thx

Troy’s home is absolutely gorgeous! We were only there for a short stay but it was comfortable, had everything we needed, and had such a beautiful view of the lake. The game room is outstanding, but I wish we hadn’t been too busy to use the hot tub. Troy is one of the easiest hosts — very responsive, flexible and welcoming. We’ll definitely return if we’re in the area again!

A great house and location right on the water. We arrived well after dark, Tom came and met us at the property to make sure we got situated. Plenty of room for a family of four and more. We enjoyed the boats and fishing and hiking in the area. The game room was nice to have on a rainy day. The kitchen has everything you need. Really enjoyed our long weekend here.

Peter's place was the perfect spot for my girlfriend and I staying in Norway. The place was everything we expected and more! Clean, warm and cozy. We would definitely stay there again!

This place is perfect! The house is so cute and cozy we didn’t want to leave. The hosts left a hand written card and a bottle of wine for us when we arrived, which was so thoughtful. Beautiful views and tons of privacy. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone!

Great person, she really went over and above what she would have been expected. The dock with boats were great, my boys love the lake. The place was clean and very well decorated. Lots of extra appliances. Washer and dryer is very nice when you are on a lake. Nothing to complain about. If you stay here and especially if you have kids you will be very happy.

We had a great time staying in Julie's place for our visit to Maine. It was nice and quiet but still very close to downtown. Access to kayaks and the water was excellent. The house itself was clean and there was a great selection of movies to watch at night. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Absolutely loved our stay at this lake cabin! It's nestled right on the water, making it a perfect spot for peaceful mornings and unbeatable fishing. The sunsets over the lake are absolutely stunning — a real highlight of the trip. The cabin itself has a rustic charm, filled with unique vintage touches that make it feel cozy and full of character. It's quiet, far enough from the city to truly relax, but still conveniently close to town if you need anything. A wonderful place to unwind and make lasting memories with family. We had a wonderful time at Ann’s. The cabin was great and exactly as described, clean and very comfortable. The property is amazing with lots of privacy and in a great location to explore the Maine coast during the day. Don’t miss hiking down to the trestle bridge to see the herons. Ann thought of everything to make sure we would be comfortable during our stay and she was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and things to see.

Pebble Cottage was so peaceful yet close to everything. We kept ourselves quite busy locally and Cheryl's place was a perfect spot to unwind and relax at the end of a busy day. The host is a beautiful artist and an exceptional, sweet human being. We hope to return in the Fall. Thanks Cheryl!

Perfect peaceful and private cabin with easy access to the mountains. The whole place was extremely clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and provided plenty of hang out space between the two living areas. Mark was super accommodating and allowed us access to the grill as well. We had a wonderful weekend!

Lilla stugga is a beautiful property with all of the lake life amenities you could need. The location is very peaceful and private with amazing sunsets and lakefront. The outdoor shower was an added bonus! Hosts were super responsive and helpful with my questions. Highly recommend for a Maine lake getaway!

We felt truly comfortable and at home in the Knotty Pine Cottage. We spent 19 days there! My husband was working again in the area and the job site was 5 minutes away. On his days off we took advantage of hiking the numerous Boothbay Region Land Trust properties. We highly recommend Porter Preserve, Oven's Mouth Preserve and Oak Point Farm. We loved walking around beautiful Ocean Point and an afternoon on Popham Beach. We also spent an afternoon reading our books at Barrett's Park. The house is well stocked with everything you'll need to prepare meals and there is a Hannaford Grocery store 10 minutes away. We recommend The Thistle Inn in Boothbay Harbor if you enjoy crabcakes that are made from scratch. We're looking forward to our next trip back to Southport and hope the cottage will be available. Many many thanks to our responsive hosts! They made us feel welcome and comfortable in their home!!

Absolute perfect place to get away from everything, while still being close to all that Maine offers. The cabin has everything you could need and then some, and the view and proximity of the lake is breathtaking. Ouda was super helpful and friendly. This is one of the rare airbnb listings where the pictures and description match the reality (and then some because trying to capture what it's like to look at the lake as the sun comes up is impossible). We're already planning on coming back next year, 100% recommended!

The Broken Compass is the perfect little get away! We loved sitting down by the fire pit and having our meals on the great screened in porch out front. The beds were comfortable, the home is well decorated and free of clutter, and they had everything we needed to cook 3 meals a day. Had a slight issue at check in, but John was super responsive and proactive in helping us out and the rest of the trip was excellent. We absolutely will come back!
