We stayed here to celebrate my partners birthday and it was amazing. Beautiful peaceful location with lots to do in the surrounding area. The house was lovely and Karen and Eddie were fantastic hosts, very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again if we have the chance.

Tim was a very friendly host, and made continuous effort to make sure I enjoyed my stay. I can’t fault him for anything. I would definitely recommend.

We were walking the Clarendon Way, which passes right in front of Patsy’s place - so it was a perfect place for us to stop and rest before the second half of our walk. The room was spacious with a lovely little balcony. A variety of breakfast bits were available in the room and a couple of cold ones in the fridge which was much appreciated after 17 miles on foot! The bed was super soft, like a feathery cloud. Patsy and her family were really friendly and welcoming - would totally recommend!

Can’t recommend enough, Liz and Oliver are lovely people and make you feel right home, great stay in large super clean comfortable room.

Marian and Terry are really interesting hosts and we had a fascinating chat at Sunday breakfast about their own travels and their hosting experiences. Although it is a shared bathroom I barely saw the other guest and there were no awkward ques for the loo! Marian & Terry are happy for guests to get on with their own thing but also happy to help should you need them to. They were really friendly and communicated great throughout. I accidentally left my phone charger behind and Marian kindly posted it back to me - thank you Marian and Terry! 🙂

Wat een fantastisch huis! Zelden zo compleet en geweldig ingericht aangetroffen op een vakantie. Het mooiste huis van de straat ( de straat is wel aan grondige renovatie toe). Superdicht bij het strand en de stad, alles op loopafstand. Wij hebben genoten!

This was a great stay for us as a last minute booking for one night. Great beds. Everyone slept well. Shower in every room was convenient. Cooked breakfast was great! Helen also went the extra mile providing an iron and printing something off for me. Highly recommended!!

Persephone, was the perfect host, very helpful and made me feel at home, the house was spotless and the room was comfortable and clean, Persephone was so helpful with guidance on how to get to the city the quickest way and how to get around. I would definitely recommend staying with Persephone she is a fabulous host.

A comfy studio with everything we needed for our short break. A good location to explore Poole and the surrounding areas. The nearby Secret Garden path was a peaceful place to walk the dogs first thing, plus it was also a good way to get to Poole Park. The homemade jam with the cream tea was a highlight! Barrie was great at communicating too.

We had a great stay at Pam's place! It was comfortable, spotlessly clean, in a great location for exploring the local area and very private. The enclosed garden was great - especially as we were travelling with our two dogs - and the welcome pack was indeed very welcome. There was so much to see and do nearby, we struggled to fit it all in on this visit so we'll have to come back! Thank you for having us, Pam :)

Lovely clean and comfortable apartment right by the sea and a pleasant 40 minute walk to the historic dockyard. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable for a short stay for two people, with plenty of pubs and places to eat to choose from in the nearby area, we would definitely stay there again!

We had a lovely stay at Diana’s and would definitely stay again. Nothing was too much trouble, Hythe village is walkable and the apartment was lovely - extremely well appointed and even better than the photos.

Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation within a short walk of the beach, with the added advantage of off road parking. Brian was very friendly and full of helpful suggestions about the local area.

This was my second stay at John's lovely quiet and spacious flat used as a base whilst visiting my family in Southsea. The location is ideal, together with the designated parking space on site which is a rarity in Southsea. John's lemon drizzle cake, bread and other groceries such as eggs, milk and homemade marmalade were much appreciated after a long journey. There is also a very convenient Coop just around the corner which is open until late.

This was my second stay of 4 weeks, after a previous one last September. It's still comfortable and peaceful. Jane is always friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely time at Anna’s accommodation, can’t recommend enough! Perfect location, short walk to the town centre and a very quiet peaceful place to stay. The breakfasts were a lovely touch and everything was clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay again x

We booked to stay with Lesley as we had a booking at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery, which is a short walk from the house. The room was spotless and had lots of nice touches such as a selection of tea bags, shortbread biscuits aswell as shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom Lesley made us a lovely continental breakfast with beautiful warm pastries and was a fantastic host. Communication was also great beforehand. There are lovely walks in the surrounding countryside and a great pub in the village. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others Thank you again Lesley!

La casa di Abigail é semplicemente magnifica! Si trova in una posizione fantastica, é curatissima in ogni piccolo particolare e pulitissima!!! Il nostro soggiorno è stato meraviglioso. Ringraziamo con affetto Abigail che è stata molto premurosa con noi e ha reso il nostro soggiorno davvero indimenticabile!

Had a very peaceful night’s sleep and Amy was a great host. With beautiful walks on the doorstep., it was the perfect stopover.

Me senti extremamente confortavel en casa. Não nos faltou de nada. O quarto é otimo, grande e muito bem decorado, o que o torna muito agradavel! A casa está super bem localizada a 10 minutos andando até o centro minutos, perto da Praia e a 5 min da Charminster Road. Martín é muito agradável e simpático. Ele nos deixou muito a vontade, muito respeitador e atencioso! Recomendo 100% Voltarei mais vezes! muito obrigado Martin!!!!

Just wanted to say how amazing Sophie has been from start to finish. We booked this one year in advance and Sophie was always on hand with any questions. Probably one of the best service we had ever. The place Sophie has is beautiful. The photos do not do this place justice. We thank you for such an amazing safe space to visit.

We had an amazing few days. We particularly liked the oak beams and the bespoke metal work detail on the doors and windows. Everything was very well equipped at Fox Pightle, everything was presented beautifully and you could see Shelagh takes pride in her presentation, Decor and homeliness. Shelagh uses high quality furnishings, linen, towels and flannels which are a rare bonus when you stay away from home. Every detail of an item for that ‘Just in case’ was there if you forgot your own, with an array of cleaning products, toiletries, books, guides, binoculars to watch the array of wildlife. Food and drink items were also top notch and we very much enjoyed the fresh eggs and the novelty of an egg cooker (So much so I have now purchased one!) The bed was the comfiest we have ever slept on and the sofas were also very nice and comfy. The heavy curtains were great for blocking out the morning light. We would love to visit again, I just need to send my son off with Scout trips more often!

We had a fantastic 3-night Easter break here, my husband, me and our dog. The accommodation was clean, comfortable. It was in a great location—perfect for beach visits, walks and was close to family who live nearby. Our son joined us for one night and stayed on the sofa bed in the living room which was very convenient. We were able to park right on the drive and Terry was incredibly helpful giving us great recommendations on local walks, places to eat and ensuring we had all the essentials.There are several dog-friendly pubs nearby and we really enjoyed The Carpenters Arms—highly recommend the homemade pies and desserts! We also explored Highcliffe Beach and Mudeford, both lovely spots for walking the dog. The thoughtful extras like tea, coffee, juice, cereal, yoghurt, milk, butter, and jams were a lovely touch and made for a great start to each day. We even had a relaxing evening watching one of the many DVDs available. We will be back.. thanks again to Terry & Amanda
