Enjoy the comfy bed, cosy winter fireside reading or AC summer cooling, courtyard with views. A picturesque 15 minute drive to the restaurants of Greytown, Martinborough and Carterton.

Relax in your own private, self-contained studio with comfortable sofa and large TV. Modern accommodation for two, featuring a private bathroom and kitchenette with kettle, toaster, hotplate and microwave-perfect for starting or ending the day with a cuppa. Fully insulated and warm year-round with a heat pump. Family friendly; our pet dog is securely kept in a large run when not at home. Easy secure parking directly outside the garage door. Welcome to Longforde, a very special, charming and beautifully furnished cottage attached to our main home but completely independent with your own access and landscaped to ensure your absolute privacy. Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

You’ll love my place because of Its proximity to town, the studio is a short 2 min walk from the Queen St shopping precinct, great cafes and restaurants and only a casual 5 min stroll to QEll Park. The two storied Studio is tucked in behind the 1879 cottage with its own private deck, comfortably appointed for couples seeking a Wairarapa getaway or business travellers needing a central location.

Separate to the host's house, the studio is an ideal getaway for peace and tranquillity. Located near Carterton town centre and railway station.

Wake up to birdsong, star-gaze from the outside bath while listening to the call of the Ruru. Loll by the pool or borrow the bikes to go exploring. Free breakfast of good coffee, homemade muesli & fruit, artisan bread and spreads. Free-range eggs & bacon available for you to cook for $25 pp. Drive on parking, heat pump, wifi & tv.

Swan Lake Gardens Country Cottage.

This cottage is situated in the country in a farm setting.We are 2 kms from the Airport and on the road to Gladstone vineyard . It is a 5 min drive to the Kuripuni shopping complex with many restaurants, a movie theatre and a supermarket on hand . The gardens are open to our guests where you will enjoy seeing the mute swans and other birds including a pet peacock. This cottage is not suitable for young children we have farm machinery and large open water spaces on the property.

White shed, modern rustic

Our rural shed is a spacious self-contained getaway with sun and views of the surrounding countryside. It is best suited for 2 guests, but can accomodate 4, with a queen size bed upstairs and a fold-out sofa in the living room. A fold out bed is available for children. We stock the kitchenette with free range eggs, locally made bread, homemade jam, butter, milk, tea and coffee. There’s a BBQ available. We’re 5 minutes walk to the Carterton shops and near the railway station.

Surrounded by Nature

The Tree House is a perfect, off-the-grid retreat for nature lovers, where you can listen to birdsong, see the sunrise from the deck and hear the river flowing in the valley. Two minutes walk and you come to The Watermill Bakery serving delicious pizza on Friday evenings. The Tree House is close to a small productive lavender farm, Lavender magic, who sell cut flowers in season, and Mount Holdsworth, where you will be able to access a wide variety of walking tracks.
