Spacious apartment with 1 master- & 2 twin bedrooms. The master and one twin have a great ocean view. Very spacious lounge & dining area, kitchen with Nespresso machine, washer & dryer. Weber BBQ on the very large patio. Just down the hill from the promenade. We had a great time, thank you Filip :) - a 1A-host!

We stayed for 9 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The apartment was great with all you have at home and more. Everything was in a good nic and the view is in readable Needless to say we will be back...

We had a wonderful stay. Jana was proactive and responsive to communication and was kind enough to assist us with late check in as we ran into delays whilst travelling. The apartment is well equipped from beach buckets, beach mats, umbrellas, a pram, they really have thought of everything. 👏👏

Lovely, cozy and modern apartment that is a short walk from the sea. It was clean, had good enough WiFi, a TV and air conditioning. There was good security and the kitchen was well appointed, and was looked after by very friendly staff. The neighborhood does not have suitable shops or restaurants nearby unfortunately so we had to drive to Shaka’s Rock to get food and supplies. If there’s anything to improve, the apartment was slightly dank and the host only provided decaf instant coffee and not nearly enough milk. Otherwise it was a good stay and great value for money. I would easily recommend it and likely return again.

We had an amazing stay at Thami’s place. He allowed us to drop off our luggage before check-in time. The place is family friendly, quiet. relaxing with great views.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in La Mercy(Beach Haven)with my family! The accommodation was spotless—neat, tidy, and well-maintained throughout. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking sea views, which made every morning and evening extra special. The hosts were fantastic—so warm, welcoming, and always quick to respond to anything we needed. Communication was smooth and efficient from start to finish, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway with top-notch hospitality!

Beautiful spot, perfect for a family holiday! Easy access to the beach, wonderful entertainment area where watching kids in the pool is easy! Could do with a few hooks for towels etc outside by the pool and outside shower, but other than that small suggestion, we loved our stay!

We have found a new gem - Sovereign Sands in Blythedale. Away from the chaos of Ballito and surrounds, it was a breath of fresh air to be a short forest-walk away from a pristine uncrowded beach. It felt like Mozambique (beautiful quiet beaches, dune forest etc), but with the added convenience of Checkers Sixty60 delivering to the Estate. Blythedale itself is a simple town with not much to do, but The Estate is a short beach walk away from Grumpy's beach bar, which was awesome (and made us think of Mozam even more with their jugs of R&R). The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable, and while we wished we had a sea-view - the sounds of the ocean were awesome. The kitchen was stocked with all the usual kitchen gadgets (even a Nespresso machine) you'd need. Elsie was communicative and friendly. The Estate felt very safe & well-run. The communal pool area boasted a very large pool that the kids loved (but the adults wished that there was some comfy seating around).

We checked in Friday afternoon with my family for the weekend. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house is exactly how it looks as advertised, great view to wake up too and a walkable distance to the beach. The entire house is well furnished with fresh bedding and towels for us to use. Really an enjoyable place to stay at. The hosts were so friendly enough to let us check out abit later. I would highly recommend this place for everyone ( families and friends).

Michele’s place was a little hidden haven on the beach. It was absolutely fabulous. The house is exactly as described the beach access is perfect. 8 of us were there and did not want to leave. Zandile is absolute wonderful she made our stay even better! Highly recommend

Melissa was simply theeee best!!! We at no point felt neglected, the checking in was the smoothest I’ve ever had, driving to the place, she kept checking on us, we arrived late but she stayed up until late just so she can be able to assist us check-in. The place is amazing, more beautiful in person that it even is on the pictures, the view is breathtaking!!! With the sea breeze, we walked to the beach, for less than 3 minutes, that’s how close it is to the house. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Melissa’s, apart from the above mentioned, Melissa has humanity and we found that gold about her! She’s not just making money from here guests but she’s considerate of them and makes sure they’re happy and convenienced.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Tamryn’s place—a stunning beachfront property. From the moment we arrived on Saturday, we were blown away by the breathtaking views. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean every morning was truly unforgettable. The home is beautifully maintained, stylish, and perfectly located just steps from the beach. It offered everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. A special shoutout to the cleaning staff and housekeeper, who were fantastic—so friendly, efficient, and made sure everything stayed spotless. We’re missing it. Highly recommend Tamryn’s place—we’d return in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay with family, including our 2 young kids. The view is incredible! The house is beautiful, nice and clean (Jenny the domestic worker helped keep it that too throughout our stay). A short (if somewhat steep) walk down the path to a lovely beach complete with rock pools and a small river that the kids really enjoyed. There is large braai and also a webber which was really handy for feeding a big family. We arrived early and Nadine was kind enough to allow us flexibility in the check in time which is always so appreciated. I hope we will be back!

Stunning location. No need to use your car to go to the restaurants, shops or even the beach. The apartment itself is just as stunning, with beautiful views.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. We are already planning our next visit! The apartment matched the description and was exactly what we needed for a weekend away. It’s right on the beach, so you can pop up and down easily and enjoy the view and soothing sound of the ocean from the comfort of your balcony any time of day. The apartment was well equipped with everything you need to stay in and rotate between the beach and home. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Ballito!

I had a great time with my mother. The place was easy to find, we enjoyed our stay and the view is absolutely amazing. I am a Durbanite, but I haven’t lived home in over 12 years so it was nice to take out my mom for her 64th birthday and enjoy this lovely home as our vacation home. It was sad to leave and I wish I booked more days, we will be returning on another family vacation.

I had the pleasure of staying in this stunning apartment on the quieter side of Umhlanga, which exceeded all my expectations! The apartment is beautifully decorated, cosy, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. But what made my stay special was the hospitality from Jono and Cathy - they surprised me with a lovely bottle red of wine, which was such a thoughtful touch! The pool area was fantastic, and the entire complex was ideally suited for those seeking a peaceful, private retreat. The location is also super convenient, with a delicious café downstairs serving the best Chai latte, and a Checkers grocery store just steps away. If I have one regret, it's that I didn't make it to the nearby casino - but that's definitely on my agenda for next time! Overall, I highly recommend this apartment to anyone seeking a serene and comfortable stay in Umhlanga. Thank you, Jono and Cathy, for an unforgettable experience!

What a beautiful spot! From the moment you arrive you feel as though you can exhale. Stunning place, beautiful furniture linen and every amenity. Special touches like great coffee, milk in the fridge and just all round welcoming space. Oh but the views of the ocean!! Wow! Literally a few steps away with direct beach access and access to the promenade with its host of beautiful restaurants and close proximity to shopping etc. You can’t get better value for money in such a beautiful space and location than this spot in Umhlanga! Oh and the host was the cherry on top. Warm, helpful, responsive. I will be booking again! That’s for sure. 🔥🔥🔥

Paola was an absolutely amazing host. She provided us with clear instructions up front and was extremely communicative. She assisted us with all of our inquiries and she made us feel right at home. The place is breathtaking and exactly as per the pictures. It’s peaceful, with an amazing view and close to any and every restaurant you would need. We will definitely be back

I HIGHLY recommend this venue. It is perfect for a small family trip. The unit is spacious, fully equipped, and even has a washer/dryer. It is just steps from the beach/boardwalk, and the host provides helpful items like beach towels and beach chairs. Just note that it’s on the top floor of the building, so pack accordingly since you’ll need to carry your bags. Loren is an excellent host, fully responsive, and so very helpful. There are multiple beachside restaurants less than a 5 minute walk from the building, and lots of rock pools and safe swimming areas along the beach. If you are looking to stay in Ballito, this is the place.
